A DESPERATE PLEA

[MUSIC RECOMMENDATION: Icarus ~ Phildel]

Done with dinner, Oriana left the dining room and went straight to her own room. She looked through the window, waiting for the right time to make her perfect escape. She had seen Adric going out with his friend, and after waiting for a few minutes, she slipped out of her room. Surprisingly, there was no guard outside her door.

"It worked," Oriana muttered to herself. All of Adric's suspicion had faded because she acted right. Oriana was almost outside the palace when she saw Axilla standing all alone on the balcony. The princess was going to pass her and continue with her escape, but then she paused.

"Axilla, right?" Oriana called, and when the girl turned, she gave her a warm smile.

The girl quickly bowed, "Your Highness."
