A random pokemon journey

Alexander was a fairly normal guy on earth or at least he hoped so. Somehow though he had gone his entire life without playing a single pokemon game or watching any of the anime. That changed when his friends kept pestering him about it and he finally gave in and purchased a few of the games that came highly recommended such as emerald , fire red , platinum and heart gold. He also bought a cheap ds lite to play all of them when he was off work. Unfortunately he was struck by lightning the moment he finished the last of them and died. He ended up awakening in a small cave at the foot of a mountain forest and learned he had a system to help him in this new and very dangerous world. AUTHOR Note------- This story will only be taking place in the world before the fairy type came out so only those regions exist in this version of the pokemon world. There will also be casual smut and maybe possibly an actual romantic option but I haven't decided yet , also no harems. I would like to add that everything with the system is RNG based so I have no control over it.

I waved it off though "Think nothing of it, I'm actually more curious as to what you thought about the draft." I said honestly. "It was kinda sad like one of those old fairytales that don't have a happy ending. You know the ones that are supposed to teach you something instead?" Rui said and I nodded. "The full version is so much worse but considering the contents I thought it best if the public version didn't have those details." I said honestly. "Something to do with the shadow pokemon right?" Wes asked and I nodded. "So that's why you raided the lab, you were looking for clues on the past and you probably found them right?" Rui asked.-

"Yeah, Cypher had a slab of stone with the rest of the story recorded on it that they used as the base to create shadow pokemon. I destroyed the slab of course." I said honestly. "Good riddance! making shadow pokemon is so cruel and we are better off without knowing how to." Rui said happy to hear the slab had been destroyed. "Indeed but enough about that you are here for your reward no?"-

"You came faster than expected so I haven't had the time to write it out yet but I was going to give you a pair of letters, one for Professor Birch and the other for Gym leader Watson. Birch should be in Littleroot most of the time and Watson in Mauville both of which are in Hoenn. The letters will open many doors for you both while in that region as while I myself am not in a position of power my name does have some pull that those two will use for you after reading the letters. The whole region sort of owes me a favor after all." I said with a smile.-

"How do you make an entire region owe you a favor?" Rui asked confused. "And ruin the surprise? You'll find out on your own fairly fast after getting over there but all I'll say is that you'll understand some of the things I said after you do. Now then if you'll give me a bit I'll write up those letters and you can be on your way while I myself can get back to enjoying the rest of my vacation." I said with a smirk. -

It really did only take me a few minutes to write both of the letters as the contents weren't some long drawn out thing. They more or less started with a greeting from me to them then moved to me adding something that they could use to verify that it was indeed from me. Then I explained the situation with Wes and Rui as well as asking them to help the two out a bit. I then ended it by explaining that I'll probably be heading to Sinnoh after my vacation here was done and I had my place left in good hands.-

I put the letters in their respective envelopes and addressed each to the person they were meant to go to before handing them off the Wes. The two left after that and I went back to meditating. The next day I set out on Vulcan to Pyrite with my cases of two and a half million and two and almost a half million poke respectively. For this region that was an absurd amount of money but in truth it was maybe fifty percent of what it would take to build a second Realgam. In other words more than enough for nearly any project duking might want it for.-

"Boss." Cail greeted me as I recalled Vulcan at the entrance of the town. I tossed him some fruit jerky as I passed which he dug into with gusto. I headed to Madam Fateen's place first since I figured she might be able to point me in the direction of a good person to take over the Hub when I leave. "You will find what you seek with Duking" Fateen said the moment I walked in. "You could have at least waited for me to ask first but thanks anyways I guess." I commented with a chuckle.-

"I know not why but a land across the mountains and past the sea requires your aid, forces beyond us all move there as the shadows writhe." she said ominously. 'Either I'm mistranslating that or she basically just told me that Cyrus is already moving forward with that retarded plan of his, no rest for the wicked it seems.' I thought with a sigh as I turned around and left. I walked down the street of the town for a bit until I was right in front of an unassuming rested building that I entered through the automatic door.-

"Hmm? Oh it's you, please have a seat and tell me what I can do for you." Duking said as he looked up from his paperwork. "Just here to drop off the funds and ask about a housekeeper for my place after I leave the region." I said putting the cases of money on the desk. "How much is this anyways?" he asked after nodding. "Nothing too crazy, just a bit under five millions poke. I have so much more in digital currency so no need to worry about taking it." I said casually. "F-five m-million!?" he stuttered in shock at the amount and I nodded. -

"It sounds like a lot but once you get to using it I promise it'll vanish faster than you can blink. This place has a lot of stuff that needs work or renovation as you should already know and that costs serious cash." I said honestly. "With this much money I might even be able to give all of Pyrite a new lease on life! You said you needed a housekeeper right? I'll get Silva to do it since I know he can be absolutely trusted to keep it in good shape." Duking said emotionally.-

"Seriously I have so much more it's not even funny so there's no need to get worked up like this." I said trying to calm him down. "No no I get that for you this ain't nothing to talk about but for Orre, for Pyrite this is enough to make history. It's hard not to get a little worked up in the face of something like that you know?" he said and I got it. It was an important shift in the winds, a real oppurtunity to prosper on a whole new level.
