The World of VR

In the blazing sun of the evening, a young teen with a skinny frame was running down a route he planned the day before.

"Haa…ha..ha," he panted. his breathing was chaotic, and sweat covered his body. This was the first time this body had ever ran 2 miles straight without stopping, but with the new memories he had obtained, he was now able to handle fatigue, and truly push his body to the limit.

"I haven't felt this type of burn in a bit," Aisor thought as he ran down the road. In his old life, because spiritual essence, which was used in order to enhance the body, had practically made fatigue impossible.

Not only could it make the body stronger, it can also power the body and depending on how powerful you were it was possible for it to replace things like blood, energy, and other bodily functions that a normal human would need, so basically as long as you had Spiritual Essence you would not feel fatigued and have endless energy.

"DING…Ding..ding," a notification suddenly rang from his phone.

"Whew," Hearing the notification Aisor stopped running to check his phone.

His lips curled into a small smile, "It's here," Aisor muttered. Aisor turned around and checked his phone one last time to see if there was any other important notifications before running once again.

...

When Aisor arrived home, a huge box was in front of his unit's door. Without opening it, Aisor could guess what was inside, "The VR Machine," Aisor thought as he felt the outside of the box.

Before Aisor could move it in, he rested his body for a few minutes. There was no special reason except for the fact that his body was just tired.

After Aisor rested, He moved the VR Machine into his home, and quickly unpackaged everything. After reading all of the instructions, he quickly set up everything according to the manual.

"Whew, finally done" Aisor looked at the, out of place, VR Machine that was placed right on the middle of the living room with complex emotions, but after a few moments Aisor smiled once again.

Most of the memories in Aisor's head were of his, unfortunately that meant the moment he had received these memories, and "Lived" as him, Aisor had became him. His memories dominated Aisor's.

But of course, this is also true for him. He also had another man's memories. He had also "Lived" as Aisor for sixteen years which was not long compared to his own life, he understood that if he had just abandoned Aisor, guilt and shame would eat away at his conscious.

Atomically, He and Aisor were built very similarly, this meant human nature still applied to Aisor's world, and with hundreds of years of experience, and learning about one's self, He naturally had high comprehension of the human mind.

This was one of the wisdoms he had learned, "A human was not a machine, but that is what is beautiful about being a human."

Guilt and shame were there for a reason, and He had no plans on becoming a robot anytime soon, so He would always keep this closely to his heart.

Aisor with a pure and innocent smile, walked into the VR machine. Inside it, there was the headset and a chair, that was shaped like a massage chair.

Aisor sat on the seat as instructed by the manual, and powered on the machine. With a flip of a switch, everything turned black, and silence would fill Aisor's ears.

His heart was calm and steady, but adrenaline pumped through his body erasing the fatigue he had from the run.

[Welcome To A New world!] A mechanical voice sounded in Aisor's head.

The moment the word's had been said, his entire vision began to fill with bright colors. Of course because of the suddenness, his eyes had to readjust. After a few moments he could finally see what was around him.

He stood on a white platform, with nothing but the sky and sun. At first it was silent, but it was quickly broken by the sound of steps from behind him.

Aisor quickly turned to see a perfect description of an Elven man that he had seen in Aisor's memories.

Step...step..step

The leather boots the Elven man wore would echo loudly with every step he took, and soon the Elven man was right in front of Aisor.

The Elven man had blue eyes, and blonde hair which complemented perfectly with each other. His waist was thin with wide shoulders that would entice any women, with long slim, yet muscular legs. He put out his hand for a handshake, and smiled, "Hi, my name is Adrlin, I will be your guide for today." His deep yet charismatic voice rang in Aisor's mind.

Aisor who had been staring at him the whole time, also smiled seeing this. Aisor shook Adrlin's hands firmly, "Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Aisor."

And, without missing a beat, the Elven man asked Aisor, "Aisor, that's a nice name, but shall the world know you as Aisor? or shall they chant a different name?" The Elven man said elegantly.

A blue screen popped up in front of Aisor.

[Would you like your name to be Aisor in the game?]

[Yes] [No]

"Aisor will be fine."

"Alright, then the world shall chant Aisor, as you conquer these lands," The Elven man said with a bright smile.

"Thank you very much, Sir." Aisor thanked him humbly for his words.

"But, before you conquer these lands, let me firstly show you the basics. Only with the fundamentals will you be able to become great. Since, you are a man from a different world, the Gods have blessed you with some abilities. Firstly, please say system."

The moment Aisor said the world System, a blue transparent screen popped up in front of him.

[System]

Name:Aisor

Level: 0

HP: 100/100

Strength:8

Agility:7

Endurance:11

Vitality:9

Attribute points:0

"As you can see, all of your Athletic Ablities have been quantified by our 'System'. While I cannot see your 'System', the average man's stats are 10 for and since you are above average, I will guess that your stats are at the very minimum 15's" He said with a laugh.

"But don't worry if it's not. As long as you improve upon these abilities, the Gods will naturally readjust the 'base stats', So even when you think you can no longer improve upon your stats, there is always something to do!"

"Alright, we're fifty percent of the way done. Now, we will be evaluating your skills in order to see what class best fits you." Adrlin took a step back, and threw many weapons onto the ground in front of Aisor.

"After choosing the weapon, we will have a little spar to see if the weapon you have chosen fits you, but do not worry if it does not, as you may spar with me as much as you'd like in order to find the right weapon." Adrlin paused before speaking once again, "And I will also be giving my professional analysis at the end of each spar, so I'm sure we will be able to find a weapon for you today."

Aisor stared at the weapons which he had been provided, "I guess, the best option right now is just to pick the weapon which I am most proficient in, and base my class upon that." Aisor thought as he reached the western style blade.

It was an double edged sword, with a long guard separating the hilt from the blade. "I guess this is as close as this world gets to a Ebith,"

Woosh.... woosh

Aisor swung the sword a couple of times before looking towards Adrlin who had been observing him the entire time.

"I'll be choosing this."

Adrlin with a bright smile nodded, "Then, let's start this duel." Adrlin made a upwards motion with his hands, and all of the weapons on the ground disappeared, leaving only Aisor and him on the platform.
