Female or Male

In a curious tone my voice echoed out.

"What is it that the both of you wish to speak with me about?"

"Why now?"

Then with arms folded in preparation for a long drawn out argument.

Expecting a male and a female voice.

To start talking about random topics but.

Unexpectedly.

The left one spoke first in a female tone.

The Voice of Rage and Aggression.

"You may address me as fury!"

Then the right one spoke afterwards.

In a similar female voice.

To my shock.

The Voice of Love and Compassion.

"You may call me Daya!"

Then they both spoke in sync.

An otherworldly echo followed while they did so.

"You are the voice of reason"

"Null"

Then there was silence.

One second.

Two seconds..

I couldn't take it anymore.

The situation was very uncomfortable.

To any onlooker it would be an odd sight.

Two floating identical face masks.

Half smile, half a frown split down the middle, I decided to question more.

"The reason you brought me into my mindset, was for introductions?"

The two faces turn to look at each other for a while.

Then simultaneous.

They both nodded in understanding.

Seemingly coming to an unspoken agreement, between them both.

They gaze at me once more with full attention.

"You, Null are getting your ass kicked!," Stated fury plainly.

I blinked at those words in silence, because they were true.

I got launched out the palace.

Then blasted by an energy beam.

The voice of Daya soon came afterwards.

"Honey, I'm sorry but fury is right!"

"You need to do something!"

The voice of fury turned to Daya.

"Don't be kind to him!!"

"He needs to learn through hardship!, TO DO BETTER!"

"BE BETTER!"

Then fury turn towards me once more.

"Learn to drown before you swim!"

I metaphorically rises an eyebrow at this example.

Due to sadly not having them.

Daya shook left to right at this phrase in disagreement.

"Fury, it's learn to fall before you fly"

Then in a voice full of worry Daya continue on another topic of truth.

"He hasn't been in this type of situation before!"

"Or, what's the phrase!"

"Oblivious to what he's doing with all his power.."

"We need to help him, fury!"

Fury stayed silent.
