1_A sudden headache

Hi, my name's Amanda Smith. I'm a 17 year old girl with golden eyes, exceptionally curved red lips, fair skin and blonde hair.

My and I had been live in utter peace and harmony until the death of our beloved, My father. He died as a result of a terminal disease which had blocked the flow of oxygen within his body causing him to have a cardiac arrest and collapsing on the spot.

His death brought a lot of troubles and hardship to our family, but little did I know something bigger was about to happen.

Amanda's POV

I come out of my room looking fabulous on my school uniform. My hair and face were looking so gorgeous too and golden eyes gleamed with delight as I walked down the stairs gradually as if I was a fragile doll that was going to break if I fell.

As I came down the stairs a very familiar scent of baked cream puff pie filled the air and made my stomach rumbling.

As if hearing what had happened my mother peeked from the kitchen.

"Someone's hungry" She giggled like a teenage girl getting all flirty with her boyfriend. Her emerald green eyes that glowed with beauty accented her beautiful face. She was like an angel with her brown hair that was roughly swept on her shoulder.

"Good morning mom", I smiled greeting my mother who resumed what she was doing in the kitchen before I came down. Curious to know if it was what I thought she was doing, I walked towards the kitchen and was surprisingly greeted with the pleasure of looking at a wonderfully baked cream puff pies complimented with blueberries around the pies.

I couldn't stop the feeling of rising hunger in me that I suddenly walked up to the table at which the pies were neatly arranged. Mom and her rule of orderliness even with food.

I reached for a pie then brought it close to my face already feeding my eyes with their deliciousness that was when I heard mom calling out to me.

"Amanda, what have I told about eating pastries" Mom said in utter frustration. She had this rule that everyone should be present and fully aware before you take a pastry. But that didn't stop me from taking a large bite out of the delicious looking pastry.

And I confirmed it, my mom had gifted hands.

"But, mom they're so good" I said turning to face my mom as I stuffed my face with the pie. The expression on her face was priceless.

"Why are you just so..." My mom was saying before I cut in.

"A good little girl you are so blessed to have" I said beaming with delight. My mom just shoke her head laughing softly.

At that moment I noticed that the pastry I had been stuffing into my mouth was gone. Where?, into my belly.

"Mom, why do your pastries always have to be so good?" I asked rhetorically. Although, I knew the answer to that.

Mom had a secret recipe of adding all her love for us into her pastries mostly the pies.

"Okay now young lady that's enough. You have school and by my watch" Mom said as she looked into her digital watched which she wore casually on her left wrist.

"I'm already late for a farewell hug" I said rushing to hug her. I don't know, but everytime I hug my mom I get a warm feeling which helped me relax.

"Bye mom, good luck at the restaurant" I said leaving the kitchen.

"Bye sweetie" she said waving me until I walked out of the door.

Mom has a lot on her hands. My little sister and I, a restaurant and most of the house chores and never had she once complained about it. She just does it all like she's used to it.

I hope one day she wouldn't have to worry about anything ever again.

I walked towards a familiar bustop not far from our house, I heard the honking of a horn from one of the public buses on the street.

"What a relief, I thought it would be an hour before I get to school" I said walking towards the bus. As I got on the bus, that was when it happened.

"Ah..." I grimaced in pain as I held my head feeling a sudden pain in my head.
