I grimaced in pain as I held my head. It wasn't a severe headache or anything serious, but... It was able to attract the attention of all the people who were onboard the bus with me.

"Are you okay" the buses conductor asked me with concern.

I just smiled faintly as I replied him.

"I'm fine, thank you for asking" I said.

After the sudden pain I felt dissipated almost immediately it came, I walked briskly amidst the eyes which intently stared at me to an empty seat beside a window.

'Aaah, window seat just what I needed' I thought.

I couldn't help myself but to gaze in awe at the beautiful city which I lived in.

The buildings were all so lovely and the environment around them sent an aesthetic feeling.

I was brought out my dazed state on hearing the bus's horn.

I looked away from the window as the conductor came and stood by my seat.

"Miss we've reached your stop, your ticket please" he said stretching out his arm.

I sluggishly took off my bag and searched it for my bus ticket. Luckily I found it .

"Here" I gave it to him, standing up to leave the bus.

I got off the bus and walked across the street to my school.

'Blakewoods High'

I walked along with the crowd of students into the school's hallway. The hallway was as wide as a grand theatre. It was a public school due hence the name Blakewoods.

This school held the record for the most renowned institution for it's sound and brilliant minds.Too bad I'm not much of a nerd though.

I walked to my locker where I got my books and closed it only to find a boy leaning against the locker next to mine.

For starters, let's say he was cute. Oh my gosh...who am I kidding. He was super hot, with his wavy black hair and pink hot lips complimented with a pair sea green eyes.

All in all, he was beautiful, although calling him that would be weird.

"Hey" he said charmingly. I don't know if it was his voice or his looks that dazed me but all I was that I was completely awestruck.

'Get yourself together' I soliloquized to compose myself.

"Hi" I finally mouthed but deep down I was trembling. Is this what crushing on someone can do. I know see why Mirabelle fretted in the presence of Dexter.

Then he gave a very handsome smirk.

"So I was wondering whether you would be free tonight..." He said rubbing his hair somehow shyly.

Oh my gosh, was he that shy because of me!

Praises to heaven for my beauty.

"I think so if my mother doesn't kill me with house chores" I said making sure to not let my guard down because of his beauty.

"Then it's settled then. 7pm" He said walking away. How could he be so dreamy.

At that moment that was when I noticed Mirabelle beside my locker smiling with content.

"What?" I asked feigning ignorance.

"Aaah, Amanda's going on a date" she shrieked for joy.

"So what are you gonna wear?" She asked as we began walking to class.

"I don't know, till then" I chuckled entering my class.

I got settled down but deep down I wasn't. I couldn't grasp the fact that someone, a handsome one at that asked me out. I was freaking out for joy.

A teacher walked in and began his teaching. He talked on something about carbon and it's compounds. I got a little sleepy so I looked around the and saw I wasn't the only one who could sleep.

I some of my classmates dozing off, I couldn't help but laugh internally.

Then as always I saw Mirabelle's brown eyes gazing at Dexter in utter stupefaction.

'Soon that would be profound faith' I giggled.

The class ended and the teacher left and the noises presumed.

I stood up casually to go to the restroom when I sudden felt light headed and dizzy.

I think Mirabelle saw that I wasn't good so she approached me. But it didn't stop me from slumping on the floor.

"Who turned off the lights" I said before I got devoured by the darkness.

At some unknown amount of time I woke up on a soft mattress. It's softness could not be compared. I began to look around to see if anyone was here, that was when I saw my mom run inside the room to hug me. I felt that reassuring feeling again and it felt like I was renewed somehow.

Then I felt a wet sensation on my face as our faces brushed against each other.

"Mom why are you crying?" I asked.

That was when the head nurse Lily began to talk.

" Miss Smith, you have a very rare case of an unknown disease resulting in frequent loss of consciousness. So I've adviced your mother into not letting you continue schooling for now" She said sadly.

"What?" That was was the only question running through my mind...
