Chapter 7

Liam sat down quietly wondering what type of a person she is. Oh yes it's obvious that she is scared, but she is still here treating his wounds. When she was done dressing the one on his fist, she dressed the one on his forehead. When she finished, he held her hand. "About what happened earlier,... I'm sorry I could not control myself" he finally spoke.

"Why?... You would have murdered someone " Cassandra replied.

"Why?... Because I.... I don't know " he said looking away.

Just be careful next time. I have to go back to class" she said and left immediately.

As soon as she closed door, Liam thugged his hair violently. "What's even wrong with me?" he said clenching his fist.

"Hey... What happened? I heard a fight broke out at the staff's office. Are you okay?" Gabriella said looking worried as soon as Cassandra stepped into the class.

"I'm OK... But, I don't think your brother is." Cassandra said and then went to sit down feeling frustrated.

"My brother?... You mean Liam was involved?"Gabriella asked panicking. Before Cassandra would say something, Gabriella stormed out of the class.

"Liam, what have you done? You know how bad your temper is and you still went ahead to fight... What if he died? Why can't you just learn to control yourself?!" Gabriella yelled at her brother angrily.

"I'm sorry... I just couldn't help seeing anyone hurting her." Liam replied calmly with a smile.

"What do you mean?... Wait, don't tell me you finally have a crush on someone...., where is she?... Hmmm don't tell it's Cassandra." Gabriella said enthusiastically.

"What if she is the one?" he asked smiling.

"Then tell her...You have 100% support from me" Gabriella said tapping his shoulder playfully, and then she ran out of the studio not giving Liam a chance to say anything.

"I'm back mom..." Cassandra said as soon as she stepped into the house.

"Mmmm, welcome ma. How was school today?" Amelia replied.

"not bad..." Cassandra replied.

"You don't look ok..." Amelia said.

"Uhmmmm..., oh... Maybe it's because exams will be starting next week and I'm a little bit nervous...." Cassandra replied nervously.

"You? Nervous about examination? I guess it's someone else..." Amelia replied thoughtfully.

"I... I'm in a new school now you know, so... It's totally ok to be nervous" Cassandra said and ran straight to her room....

"So weird..." Amelia said.

In the evening Cassandra was studying when her phone rang.

"Hello?" She said when she picked up.

"Hi... It's... Liam..." Liam said nervously.

"Oh..." Cassandra said not knowing what else to say.

"About what happened earlier... I'm sorry you had to see me like that" Liam said feeling ashamed.

"It's OK... But why did you do that? I mean it has nothing to do with you" Cassandra replied.

"You want to know why I lost it? Hmmm it's because I can't stand it" Liam replied.

"Why?..." Cassandra asked again.

"Because... I..." Liam could not finish his sentence because his mom called him.

"We will talk about this another time" he said and hung up.
