Chapter Eleven

Brice backed away as the fish, shark, and turtle crowded behind me. I felt angry as I glared at him. Gregory the shark started slamming into the glass. The Aquarium began to shake.

"Let me at him! I'll rip him up!" The shark yelled. I knew no one else could hear him, but everyone gasped and backed away. He slammed again, the glass beginning to crack. I turned around and placed my hand on it.

"I'm okay, but you have to stop." I thought. Gregory swam away.

"I could've gotten him, Princess." He huffed.

"I know. Thank you." I smiled slightly. He swam back with the others, still crowding. I turned back to my class who stared in disbelief.

"Her eyes! They're purple!" Someone exclaimed. Jason came from the bathroom, looked at everyone, then came to me.

"Jason, don't!" Brice tried to grab him. He could hear the fish swearing and dodged Brice's frantic grab. Jason looked down at me then to the tank. My anger had vanished and the captive life went back to their daily business.

"Are you okay?" Jason whispered. People were still staring at me so I started walking out of The Aquarium. I came to the exit that looked over the ocean and hung over it. I breathed in the salty air.

"Hey, Freak!" Brice ran over.

"You do not let-!" As I faced him, he shoved me.

"If you can talk with them, you can swim with them!" He grinned. Before Jason could do anything, I was falling into the water below. The water ensnared me, soaking me in seconds. The impact knocked my shoulder out of place, causing me to scream. A ripple shot from me and outward into the water around me. Afraid that I'd be seen in shallow water, I held my dislocated shoulder and swam deeper into the ocean. Within minutes, Jason found me sitting on a large rock deep in the ocean with all kinds of fish circling me. When he approached me, they made a wall that separated us.

"Let him through." I winced as a large crab examined my shoulder.

"Prince Jason. How nice of you to join us." The large crab waved a claw.

"What happened?" Jason knelt in front of me.

"When I hit the water, I dislocated my shoulder." I flinched. "The whole school will know soon."

"Don't worry about that." Jason told me. "I'm sorry I didn't stop him."

"Well, at least I'm not afraid of water anymore." I joked.

"Prince Jason, I can not relocate her shoulder with claws. You have to do it because any other way may harm her more." The large crab informed him. He looked from the crab to me. I just gave him a nod and he took my hand then placed his free hand on my shoulder.

"Take a deep breath." He told me. When I did, he pushed my harm back and jerked it forward. When I heard a crack, I screamed which shoved everything around me backwards.
