" Welcome young master, it's nice to see you after a long time"

Mr. Wook bowed happily at the Sight of Jimin, seeing the younger male after two years made him very happy, he has been very fond of Jimin right from when he was little.

Jimin smiled brightly at the sight of him and lovingly pulled him in for a hug, Mr. Wook was everything from butler to personal tutor then friend and comedian from when he was still living with his parents there in Busan.

" Uncle wook! I told you not to grow old! Why am I seeing wrinkles on your face? When did you come back? Nobody told me you came back."

" Aish young master, old age is golden and I have to embrace it... Not many people get to grow old, look at you all grown up and handsome" He pats Jimin's shoulder as they both walked to the car that was already waiting for them.

" You didn't answer my question, Uncle Wook... Why did you come back?"Jimin asked when they got inside the Black SUV. " I thought you retired, did something happen?"

" Your intuitions never go wrong... Ah hm I'll tell you when we get home"

" Okay"

The thirty minutes drive was silent as nobody said any more words, Jimin was going through his work emails while Mr. Wook sat quietly next to him.

The Sudden quietness and peaceful trail from the busy road, and the honking of cars told him they just entered the beautiful alley to his parent's house with tall trees on both sides of the private alley, the greens of the grasses and trees added more elegance to them.

Soon the gate was opened and the car they were in drove in and stopped at the parking lot where other Luxury cars were also parked.

Jimin got down of the car before the driver could open the door for him, no matter how Wealthy he was, he never allowed anybody to open the car door for him.

Standing in front of the grand entrance of the house, he could see his mother running out to meet him with his father trailing behind her. He hasn't seen them for a long time, not that he didn't like coming over but he has his reasons plus is a very busy man.

He was almost knocked down as his mother threw herself on him hugging him tightly, he hugged her back. He has missed home and his parents too, smiling at his father he gently pulled his mother from the hug before she would suffocate him.

" Mother, one more minute and I'm not sure I would be able to breathe again"

" It's because I've missed you, son... Why don't you come home more often from now on?"

" mother..."

" It's okay I know... Ahh come on you must be hungry, let's go in"

They all sat down and watched as the chef and his assistants brought different dishes to the table, among which was Jimin's favorite meal, the whole dining was filled with nose-blinding aromas they all look so appetizing...

After everything was set Mrs park started putting food on her son's plate making sure to add the ones he loves most...

" Mother this will be enough, I can't finish everything you put on my plate"

" Just eat them, son, I made them myself and I know you've missed my meals too"

" It's not like you cook for him while he was still living with us... Leave him to enjoy his food Seohye" Mr. Park chipped in earning a scowl from his wife.

" Honey, that's not true... I always try to cook for him whenever I wasn't busy" turning to her son "right Jimin? There were times I cooked for you" Seohye refused to let her husband's sarcastic comment get to her.

Jimin looked at his parents and smiled, he kept silent not remarking on what they said... Growing up, he was provided with everything but very little of their attention. They were always away on business trips but they still tried their best to spend the little free time from all the work with him, his mother would do some bonding time by preparing his favorite dishes and reading him stories while his father would teach him how to play golf.

Regardless of everything he loves them and is grateful to them for making his life easy and not lacking for one day.

The meal was going smoothly and he was enjoying the meal until his father decided to talk again.

" Mura... When last did you hear from her?" Mr. Park raised a question as he looked at Jimin who was about to get some food in his mouth but stopped halfway.

Jimin dropped the chopstick in between his fingers slowly on his plate and drank from his glass of water, he just wanted to enjoy his time with them and the meal too but lost interest when his father brought up a name he has long buried at the back of his mind.

Seohye sensed the shift in her son's aura and quickly nudges her husband under the table, she knows how Jimin disliked hearing that name...

" come on honey, allow him to enjoy his meal he just arrived," she said smiling at Jimin trying to restore some peace to the table.

"He can't keep avoiding it, somehow we have to talk about it..." Mr. Park replied not tearing his gaze from the younger man who has gone still next to him "Mr. Hwang's sixtieth birthday comes up in a few weeks, wouldn't it be nice to keep Mura company?"

Jimin clenched his fist under the table regretting why he was there, this was the top reason why he doesn't visit Busan because somehow his parents would try to bring up something about Mura.

Raising his head to look at his mother, Seohye quickly shakes her head in an 'I don't know anything way...'

" Father, Mura is a full-grown woman... Why would she need my company?" The young Ceo asked his father as he twirls the glass of wine in his hand.

" Because she's your betrothed, you have to play your role... I don't know what's going on between the both of you but you better sort it out and announce your engagement sooner" His father said making sure to break it down so he understands it.

Jimin was taken aback by what his father said, no way in hell that will ever happen... He and Mura can never happen it's just so absurd, nothing would ever make it happen.

He tried countless times to break off the betrothal but his father and Mura's family were against it, reason because Mura doesn't want to break it off... It took everything for him to restrain himself from walking away from the dinner.

" Honey, don't say it that way... There's no reason to rush the engagement if our Jimin doesn't want it, it's his ceremony so we should allow him to make the decisions"

" How long does he need to do that? A decade?... He's no longer getting younger and the family tree has to go on..."

" Even though... we shouldn't be rushing him, let him just take it at his own pace... The both of them used to be very sweet with each other, I don't know where it all went wrong..." Seohye looks pitifully at her son who was staring at the dishes on the table with a deep frown.

If her son doesn't feel comfortable with the betrothal anymore then she's going to support him, she doesn't care what the Hwang family would think but she just has to protect her son too...

Although she was in support of everything from the start because of how close and sweet the kids were with each other then... As a mother she has come to realize that things are not meant to stay the same way forever, people change along with their feelings and their perspective on things.

" Son, don't worry about what your father just said, take it at your own pace. Okay? Please go back to your meal..." Seohye coos.

Not wanting to get his mother sad,  Jimin who has lost his appetite signed sadly and went back to eating... He remained awkwardly quiet throughout the whole meal, neither his father nor his mother said any more words.

After dinner he went out to where the fountain was and sadly watched the springing water, the sun has set by now and darkness was beginning to take over sending a cool breeze into the air...

It was refreshing to Jimin as he stood there watching the water from the fountain, he was thinking of ways of getting Mura to break off the betrothal and set the two of them free.

Getting frustrated he was about to get into the house to say goodbye to his parents before heading to his apartment when he saw Mr. Wook walking towards him, it was then he remembers their discussion in the car.

" Young master, you're here... I looked for you and then guessed you must be here, it's one of your favorite places to be"

" It's always beautiful and refreshing to watch, the evening seems cool too"

" Aigo the whole place didn't change at all and your presence just made it complete," Mr wook said rubbing his palms together.

" Are you back to working here Uncle Wook? How is your family doing?"

Not failing to notice the change in Mr wook's face at the mention of his family, Jimin knew right away that something was wrong... Mr. Wook was always fond of his family and would delightfully talk about them with a joyful heart.

" Uncle Wook?"

" The last few years have been very strenuous and difficult for us" letting his head drop with his eyes fixed on his shoes.

"My daughter is dying, she's been placed on VAD to support her failing heart... A compatible donor has not been found, we are praying she gets a donor soon"

The news left Jimin in shock as waves of sadness overtook his whole form, he found it hard to believe why such a bad thing has to happen to Mr. Wook...

He turned fully to face his old friend who was fighting to keep his tears from falling, he raised his hands and gently pats them on Mr. Wook's shoulders to comfort him...

" I'm sorry you and your family have to go through that, is the hospital making effort in finding a donor? It must have been very hard"

" Thank you Young master for showing concern, I'm here because your father wants us to move to the hospital here in Busan... He was upset I couldn't tell him all this while, I didn't want to cause a nuisance to your family that was why I kept it from him..."

" Uncle Wook, how can you come up with something like that, you used up all your youth serving us and taking care of me, won't it be fair if we pay you back even in the slightest way?" Jimin asked getting angry he had to think that way when his daughter was dying.

" I'm sorry young master, I'm really sorry... I-i don't know how to express my gratitude"

" It's okay, I will discuss with my father to know the hospital she would be transferred to and ways to find a donor sooner"

" Thank you so much, thank you!"

" It's okay"

Soon after that, Jimin went inside to say goodbye to his parents even though he was mad at them for bringing Mura up...

His mother pleaded with him to stay the night with them but he refused and insisted on staying in his villa which was about 30 minutes from the house.
