Ch. 18 - One Week Earlier

Liz and Jessica were waiting in the master bedroom of the mansion, waiting for Mason to arrive. it was some time, but both of the girls talked a bit awkwardly but remained friendly as they could, and it came to Liz to speak her mind.

"You know... you're not the typical goddess of life I imagined...?"

"How so?" she replied as they both shared a seat by the bed.

"Well, some stories past around say the goddess of life has been long dead... there hardly any followers around or at all that worship you... no offense... and you don't act very godly..."

"Hehe... should feel bad?" she softly chuckled and spoke to her with ease. "True... I don't have worshipers or followers... and in truth I rather never have any... they are a source of strength among gods... and reason of existence... but I was the first God. likely the first being on this world, too... I watched all matter of life grew on this planet... and even helped by creating titans... mighty beings that gaurd the civilization of life that flourish... and the other gods watched with me, as they were born... they were more hands-on... but I believe I was meant to remain on the sidelines..."

"I see... as goddess of life... I guess you can't favor any race... or entity on your planet, huh... still after all what happened... now it seems kinda unavoidable to get hands-on..." Liz said with a bit of sadness.

"Yes... humans have gotten much to full of themselves... and even for me, if I'm honest with you. I don't wish to kill them... or blame them. I'm sure they are just misguided..." Jessica said, messing with the tips of her fingers.

"But... Mason won't allow that... you know that." Liz pointed out.

"I know... and he's also the reason I'm even alive... so I have no objection to what action he takes. I'm no longer a god thanks to what I had to sacrifice to summon him. on top of him rescuing me, he also has lost his family... in honesty Liz. I'm glad I don't have that choice... not just because I simply can't... but I vowed to let nature take its course. at the end of the day, Liz. this world revolves around survival of the fittest..." she said and sighed. "Power is what guides and drives individuals to the actions they take through life... also circumstances. so... I'm glad. in a way, it feels like a weight has been lifted."

"How so?" Liz was curious and moved closer to her.

"Well... I'm no longer a god... the responsibility to watch over life has been taken away... I also no longer need to be so formal or hold responsibilities as the goddess of life and gods. so I'm free. to be honest, I wished for this freedom. I wanted to walk on your planet. on this floor. to talk with other people who weren't gods. I'm free... and I couldn't be happier. so I want to repay Mason. and also apologize..."

"I can't begin to feel what you could... but I get what you mean! being picked on like I was... and then outcast from my people.... I was free to do what I wanted without worry of tradition! or rules. I owe it to him, too... he gave me even more freedom than ever since we own this town now! wait, why do you wanna be sorry?" Liz asked, leaning onto her new friend.

"Hehe... I'm glad we can understand one another. and... it's likely because of me that he isn't with his family... I had to pull his soul away with force... and I think I can't even make it up to him.." she said holding her chest a moment and staring at her own figure.

"NO WAY!" Liz said. before then holding her hand. "he wouldn't want you to do that!"

"but... I'm the reason he's been through such an ordeal... and after he's done... for you, and Rebecca. surely he must be repaid" Jessica spoke softly.

"I... yeah... we owe him... but, do you think he would want that? do you think he's that kind of person?"

"I... No, but what else are we to do to repay him? he has power... he can take anyone's wealth... the least we can do... is offer our service..."

"that's unnecessary.. mylady!" Rebecca came in, overhearing them. she was still in the process of healing, but able to move around enough.

"but!" she insisted

"no...!" Rebecca continued. "in the time I met him... which is only a few minutes I can see in his eyes, your body isn't what he desires..."

"yeah! she gets it!" Liz said getting up to help her sit with them.

"so what are we to do...? we cannot just let him save us... and do nothing for him in return..." Jessica said thinking.

"all we have to do is devote ourselves to him... like the many children he saves and other demi races and angles. and if we want to make it up to him. then we all should be strong... I can train you to weld a sword, and Liz can help you with magic... I've never seen you once raise a hand Mistress... but now that you've set your feet on the floor of the world... we mustn't be weak... okay. so let's make it up to him, by helping and protecting what he values..." Rebecca said, looking now at the ceiling. reminiscing on her fate up until now.

all three of them were silent. before the door was opened again. Mason looked inside to see them all sitting on the bed. "what's going on?" he asked with a stirn voice since the air felt serious with a talk he had no idea of what went on. "did you girls need something from me?" he asked while he removed his boots and cloak.

Rebecca stood up, like a soldier ready for war. "nothing sir... we just had a bit of girl talk..."

"well..." Liz softly spoke., and then Jessica spoke up. "we were discussing... about how to repay you.."

"Mistress!" Rebecca sighed. and then looked to Mason. "its true... implied we serve you... with the greatest bit of loyalty... but also work on being strong on our own..."

"hm... is that all? how to repay me?" he asked before then looking to each one of them in there eyes.

"I... suggested, we serve you. In bed master" Jessica said. "and that's when Rebecca said, and Liz defend... that you weren't going accept that..."

"you won't will you?" Rebecca said seriously to him.

"of course not. I have... had a wife... sadly for any of you, I can't begin to humor that idea... it's just been 4 days... I think, since I died and came here... id hate to know she's out there, and I was here with you all fooling around... it be against my own vows and morals" he said crossing his arms and sighing.

Rebecca smirked, Liz blushed and Jessica smiled.

"not that is one fine attribute..." Rebecca said walking up to him. "and if I'm reading between the lines... you implying you can take on three at once...?"

Mason looked down at her clearly seeing her cleavage in display. Mason lowered his arms, and pushed her to the bed. "do you really want an answer...?" he asked, before then looking to Liz.

"she's right... that sort of thing is queit nice and comforting."

"is that so?"

Jessica spoke up. "well... it means you won't be just tossing us away once you have found your wife... and children. you'll still have us here serving you"

"hmph..." Mason went to the door. "You girls need some rest got it... we can talk more tomorrow... did you all use the bath yet? or won't you mind if I go on ahead?"

Rebecca sat up, shaking her head. "go on, use it. well go on after. I'm sure we still lost to talk about now... just take to long"

"yeah yeah..." Mason left with a soft and ease smile on him.

"were definitely in good hands here..." Jessica said with a chuckle.

"You know, I'm having second thoughts..." Rebecca said, feeling on her own breast.

"oh my god!!" Liz watched her as she saw the grin on Rebecca's face with her tongue licking her lips. "You just said he isn't about that! actually he just said that himself!"

"yeah but... he's got a clear head, strong morals to abide by, and that fiercely attitude... also... how he pushed me~!"

"yeah... I totally do get what you mean" liz said holding her cheeks on her face shaking herself.

Jessica stood up. "You all in the mood for a bath?"

"but! wait... yeah definitely..."

the three got up, taking there time to catch up to Mason.

Mason, was in the bath, stripping down and got into the mass hot bath after cleaning his body up with soap and hair with shampoo. he got to finally relax. sitting back. resting his head over the edge of the bath. "damn this feels needed..." he told himself as there seemed hardly a momemt in the last four days he's been up and moving that he got to properly rest. he was in deep through about how to run his town.

'I'd have having to work with humans... and more so rely on people I can't outside my town... I guess if need be, I could make this place the way the garden of eden was meant to be. a place of innocence... or rather a place of peace and seclusion... we could live on just farming a d hunting... make things ourselves... but we need people who know there stuff... maybe we should also relocate this place isn't exactly safe either... roads in every directions... place is surround with only walls keeping us safe' Mason had a lot in mind. 'ha... what to do, what to do... there is still much to think of... maybe coexistence with the other races... that'll be hard seeing as I'm a demon... this is getting way to complicated...' he kept thinking, as he soon heard voices and rummaging at the door to the exist and entrance of the bath. 'don't tell me...'

"Master! we're coming in!" Jessica said, before then hearing the other two feet clap with the ground. all three entered together shutting the door behind them. all of them naked as they looked over Mason who was directly across.

"You don't mind now do you?" Liz asked shyly hiding her features, as well as Jessica but only she covered her lower half. Rebecca on the other hand, almost has no shame.

"What did I say, I'm not going ask you for any sort of service... and if it wasn't clear, nor am I interested." he said rudly.

and Rebecca spoke up. "a girl can take that the wrong way... and I never heard a man deny having three babe in a bath with him?! you really had a wife Mason?!" she said, touching a sensitive subject, but also led him in. the other two more hesitant after what she said.

Mason stared at Rebecca, and spoke up. "fine... do as you please... no way I can stop any of you anyway..." he knew she was going to a handful, and noticed how much of a tomboy Rebecca really way. "but if this the route you ladies are taking, you need to take as much responsibility and care..." he told them, since he didn't want to hurt them, by constantly saying no, or avoiding them. he needed them after all, and after all the trouble he went through for each of them. it would sure as hell set him back a damn lot.

"That's what I'm taking about... come on girls, we can help each other get ready" Rebecca said, taking the lead to help them get ready to enjoy the bath.

they of course talked shyly but openly together, whole Mason stayed queit with his eyes closed and overheard them. they were returned being exactly discreet.

Mason kept sitting relaxed and was done with his bath, but, if he moved out at all, surely they would just follow once they were done here anyways back to the bedroom. so, it made him wonder if they needed something from him or just wanted him to apart of them after doing so much in such a small of time after meeting them.

"it really feels like I'm just gonna have to use to it... so if I may ask, do you ladies need something from me? you could have waited for me to be done..." he asked, which ultimately triggered something to for them, as he acknowledged them finally being in the bath.

"well, who knows?" said Jessica as she was rinsingng her hair out. "we could have just come here to spend time with our master... or just wanted a bath early..."

"I won't just succumb to advances if that's also a possibility..." He said

'oh come now... who are you trying to lie too... surly not to them.... or is it yourself~?' a woman's voices spoke up, in the back of his mind. one with such an hypnotic tone and allure to it.

'if I had to guess... in a momemtike this... you must be aphrodite...' he asked this spirt as now, the goddess of love and fertility was speaking to him. 'what a very rare case... three woman, a druid, goddess and the queen of Valkyiers herself... and you are not going lay a single hand on any of them... just because your wife is out there?'

'I'd be careful not to piss me off...' he asked of her.

'I know hun... you can provide us vessals or just kill yourself and we'll all dissappear... but think about it. your wife may never know... or maybe she wouldn't want you to hold back... just look at them, can you not see there attempt. they aren't even trying hide a desire for you...' she insited, walking around the mental figuer of Mason within his mind.

'I'm not a fool to ignore it... I see it clearly, but if they doing it out just to repay me, for the aid they receive, I don't want there advances... I rather let them be true to there own desires and emotions.' he conversed with her, in what seemed like a stop in time.

'how lovely...'

'are you not married...? should you really be so close...' he asked. feeling what could be her embrace.

'I'm but a spirt now... someone is clearly lying to themselves aren't they... to be honest with you. I rather not have a vessel... maybe it's time the era of gods came to an end. we watched long enough, and involved ourselves more than once... the other gods may disagree, but in my opinion. I don't think this world needs us anymore. the Demon kings and the devil's have posed no threat to the world in a few centuries... and I've had all my fun on both Mortal and immortal realms. I'm fine with death' she said, idling in the back of his mind again.

'you might be the only one, to think so calmly, aside from Athena and Ares.'

'who do you think is the queen of gods?'

'fair enough. so, what do you want from me. in our deal.'

'if your asking for my power, then. all I want you to do, is not shun away from your desires or others, but keep your values up high. like you said, you want they feel to be genuine, and not just a repayment... I like that. so uphold that. and if you find your wife. but also your family, you do your best to make them happy. of course, love them through any pain and suffering they might endure. after seeing your old world. through your memories. I dont deserve to ask you to do more than what's impossible. you have been quiet an ordeal... and it's not like I had any responsibilities beside blessing woman or men with fertility and love. through, it seems I hardly was needed, I was looked at mostly for my body, and for the love people wished in bed. it never made me really happy to be know as that sort of goddess... so, if you want my power. than just promise that...' she said, changing to a softer and kind tone of sincerity.

'your awfuly understanding and kind. so of course I will. how could I deny, a lovely request like that... you have a deal... and if you truly do not wish for a vessel... then you may rest in peace within me...' he finished speaking with her.

'see you wish to the very end Mason. thank you' she said softly, before disappearing a d giving over her own powers and responsibilities over to him.

"Mason...?" Liz asked, waving her hand over his head while so closely to his side.

Mason opened his eyes once again, after what felt like a long nap, to see that the three of them were now in the bath with with him, and beside him. closely. "uh... you three..." he sighed before trying to move, only to be stopped when Rebecca moved onto his lap with a mischievous look in her eyes. Mason stared at her.

"don't you try anything... your still frail from recovering..." he told her.

"oh yeah~? is that an threat... or an invitation master~?" she teased, leaning in closer looking down at him.

"enough... we're here to just relax in the bath, not make a mess..." Jessica said, pulling away the queen of Valkyiers.

sighing loudly, Mason then looked to them. "look, you girls don't need to do this if you don't want too, I'm not going to ask of you anything remember, so you feel pressured too like you need too"

the three smiled before Liz spoke up again. "we know!"

"then, why follow me into the bath?"

Rebecca answered. "because we want too spend time with you. your queit the unique specimen you know..."

and Jessica followed up. "I never got to set foot here on the realm of mortals, and meeting you gave me that chance, even though it wasn't the best of circumstances... still, you've done a lot. and I want to know you more. I've already made up my mind to serve you wholeheartedly. my body and soul are yours Mason."

"Hey, that's to much..." he said looking to her. "when it comes done to it. I don't want you, any of you, to just through your lives for me. let make this clear now... I'll gladly help all of you, but do not feel the need to repay me. your bodies and minds are you own. if you want to make up to me, I only want your loyalty. can we agree?" he asked of them.

"but then that's not fair!" Rebecca said looking at him. "You would just help us, which any problem and want us to do nothing in return... screw that, we want to do this for you... and so much more. I'll speak for myself here. but you literally saved my life, I can't just ask help of you... you have my servitude, but that is nothing compared to what you did... I was back up on my feet in moments after what you did... so you will have all of me, anytime you wish and as you please!" she demanded of him, and so openly.

"Jeezz you don't get it..." Mason said and the. looked to them individually. "I get a did a lot for you all, but unless what you feel is real in your heart than don't come onto me. I won't have either of you for just self satisfaction..." he paused and waited for them to take that info in.

"then what then?" asked Jessica.

"unless it's... real love then... I'll start taking you all seriously..." he couldn't just shove this away, after they kept insisting. so, might as well have it in a way, they can at least agree on.

even Rebecca was stunned. after all, it was real love she had not wonder about, if she wanted to be apart of his life.

"I think... we can all agree on that..." asked Liz, before looking to the other girls. "right?!" she asked almost excitedly.

"yeah." Rebecca said quietly, and looked away. to them it seemed like she gave up. but in truth she was blushing madly.

"I can" Jessica agreed and held onto Masons arm looking up to him.

"good..." he told them. and sighed.

"I'm still stuck here aren't i?" he asked. with Jessica nodding.

"fine... let's all relax... and then head to bed..." he said sitting back again.

Liz, held onto his other arm staying by his other side. all the while Rebecca stayed sat up by Jessica's side. "Hey Mason, what do you want to do for this town?"

"well... we can't leave things as they are... or else my people will die... we must focuse on gardening. and Rebecca, I want you to show them how to fight..." Mason said, thinking about the future of his people.

"I'll help the land remain fertil" said Liz, as she then thought about what more can be done. "and fruit all the more abundant..."

"thank you Liz... Jessica help tend to wounds okay... just make sure no one overworked themselves..." he said asking her.

"and what will you be doing..." asked Jessica.

"well, I'll definitely be working on finding my family, to be honest I'm sure, but i know I can't just do that alone this world is far more massive than my old one... and, I was thinking... maybe moving from here... we don't need to do anything, but it will take some time..." he said as he was starting to think and open up to them about his plans.

"There's hardly any safe around here..." Liz said.

"What about the sky?" Mason asked.

"huh?!" all three of them were confused.

"surely we can lift up the city we live in into the sky... or have something made... it'll be a while before something like that can happen... but we definitely can make it done" he said thinking about it.

"you'll need the help of Dwarves and also the elven folk if you want to do something that incredible... and you'll need magic gear and tons of machines..." Rebecca said finally calming down and looked to him.

"is that so..."

"wait... that'll be a big undertaking" Liz said concerned.

"You think we can't do it?" Mason asked looking at her.

"uh no... not at all... just that, we can't just ask... money is gonna a huge issue" she said.

"good point... so... well have to figure out how to get there help..." Mason was in thought.

"You can partake in the fortune of the gods master" Jessica said.

"do you know a way back up to the heavans?"

"no... but, I mean, you can go to there cities and shines... people love to offer prayers to there shines... massive building that they offer gold and offering... but you'll need to prepare for the guardians" she said nuzzling up to him.

"nothing is ever easy..." he sighed.

"the closest from here is Ares... I'm sure we can also find weapons of magical kind and more around... who knows" she said and then looked to Rebecca.

"What do you think?" she asked her.

"well it's not a bad idea... lots of gold just sitting around... but this cities and countries won't just let you take there respective gods offerings and gold... you'll need to provide proof, that your a representative of said gods you claim" she said.

"and who knows how ill get that?" he asked, and got no reply.

"we had personal servants... other high angels that did that sort of stuff... so it's likely you won't get your hands on the old gods stuff so easily. and since I was hardly a god worshiped... I don't think I even exist to them" Jessica said.

"alright... I think I have an understanding of it all. anyways... ladies let's get to bed. we've been in long enough, and anymore we'll just get a cold or worse" he said standing up, and stepping out of the bath.

"yeah, I'm with ya there... let's go..." Liz said.

he helped them out one by one. as they weren't so shy anymore with him. Rebecca being last to get out held onto his hand and just walked with her as they all left the bath in towels.

Rebecca spoke up. "hey... are we all going to sleep together? that bed isn't exactly big for three of us and our gaint master..."

she turned her head away holding onto her towel tight along her breast but also firmly held onto his hand still.

"I can just lay on the ground... it won't be a problem... or maybe take a spare room" Mason said as Liz slowed down to be on his other side.

"how about... you pick who you want into bed..." she suggested.

"oh! that sounds good...!" Jessica said walking backwards a bit to watch him as he had both the other girls on his side.

"fine... but I'm not picking after tonight, you girls settle it among each other... agreeded?" he said, as there wasn't gonna be a way out of it. even if he wanted to think of an alternative, he can to keep there feelings in mind thansk to the blessing and promise to aphrodite. "hm... If it's alright with you then... I'll have you join tonight, Rebecca" he asked looking over to her. as they all then stopped at the door to the master room.

"wha!! me?!" she was flushed and surprised. "i... I snore ya know... and kick in my sleep...!" she warned him. but just also embarrassed herself a bit.

"ooh~ Liz any complaints?" Jessica asked her.

"nope!" she then went to Jessica. as the both of them walked into the room next door. "well take the spare room..." they agreed together going inside. leaving them alone.

"why me!" she said almost sound mad at him. yet didn't let go of his hand.

"You remind me of my wife a bit... and I don't think you want be exactly with anyone else... do you?" he said to her.

"whatever..." she walked inside the room, taking him with her and finally let go. she walled to the closet that, had the night gowns of the old Mistress of the home, left behind. she grabbed one and changed. Mason, grabbed onto something himself to use that was from the now dead and former owner of the home. the man he killed at the court yard upon arriving his first second day. he changed and got onto the bed with Rebecca right behind him climbing into bed yet remained a bit away.

it was lights out between then, and they kept there backs to one another with nothing else to say. in the dead of night after a few minutes she spoke up. "how do I remind you of her?"

Mason didn't answer a moment. and just told her. "sleep Rebecca..."

"how...?!" she turned over and looked at his scarred backside.

Mason sighed, and slowly turned over. "she had the same attitude as you... she was fierce and stubborn about a lot of things... but, she was also a softy... you are like in that way... though I know comparing you to my wife isn't exactly right... something about you makes me want me to at least take care of you... even if you can defend yourself..." he told her thinking about his own past and thought of his wife.

"tch... your lying..."

"What do I gain for lying? and you think I would after what I told you in the bath." he asked her.

"no... that would contradic what you told us... so... I'm sorry..."

"ha e you ever felt love?" he asked all of a sudden.

she didn't want to answer. but, in this moment, she was taking with her master. and not Mason. "yes... and no... I'm a warrior master... the queen of Valkyiers. it's not easy for me to find love. and those dammed gods made it harder... I did enjoy meeting some potential people... and in my past I have. but compared to you, this if far different..."

"I'll take that as a compliment... but also, I'm glad you understand so easily. look Rebecca. your not among gods anymore. your facing humans and the other races. your in the realm of man. things from now on will be vastly different for you, and I'll be here to help you" he told her.

"shut up... I know that..." she said scooting closer and placed her head on his chest.

"then don't make me repeat myself... and don't be afraid of opening up" he said, before now holding onto her waist, and letting her rest along his arm.

"I'll try master... just... don't see me as you wife... it's rude to her and me..." she said softly.

"alright..."

"so see me... as Rebecca, former queen of Valkyiers." she relaxed more against him after feeling his arms.

"good night Rebecca..."

"goodnight master..."

both, were able to easily fall asleep and closely with one another.

It was seemingly out of character for Rebecca, a head strong and teaser of a woman, was acting shyly. it wasn't on Mason mind, but it was likely she never got experience love, or rather never felt the need too or was told too. someone was considering after her for once, rather than having gods and other rely on her on her warrior prowess and capabilities in a battle. for what seemed like a first, she had actually individual freedom. without gods, around, the world did seem better. at least, for those who had constantly be at there beck and call, since no non of them could. even if she was under a new master, it didn't seem like she mind.

To Mason Surpise, as morning came, she didn't snore, if she had, hardly at all loud enough to be a bother, and nor was he kicked. opening his eyes. he could feel her drooling on him while so closely held up against him.

"You too look comfortable."Jessica said, sitting aside with a smile, while Liz almost looked envious and pouty.

"and you'd be right..." he sat up, using the blanket to clean the drool off his chest, and once again on Rebecca's lips. "You two are up early..."

"early?! it's already afternoon... you two hadn't left your room in hours, you missed breakfast and we got worried something happend..." Liz said, and Mason then asked.

"now, what do you think would happen in a bedroom that would be a cause for worry" he wondered looking at her.

"well... you two could have slipped out of bed and hit your heads... or..."

"or...?" he had fun messing with her as Jessica answered.

"or you two could have been fooling around on top of one another, when there is work to be done Mason." she grabbed Liz, standing up herself with her.

"like I would do such a thing..." slipping away from the bed, Mason. stood up, stretching his limbs and turning his back.

"well, you might as we stay in, or go on about your business. we took care of what had to be done for the day... however Rebecca needs to get to training rather than sleeping in bed, she is your shield now for your town." Jessica said. before then going over to her side.

"our town... I'm no good on my own..." Mason said, acknowledging them, as also leaders and capable woman.

"maybe Liz and Rebecca master. but I'm no good..." Jessica said, gently poking and then helping sit up Rebecca.

"then, she isn't the only who has to train. but I do mean. all of you. you all hold titles... good or bad. be proud. you get change the world... and if you want to get strong why not train? and make yourself be more useful no offense" he said, trying to encourage her.

"your not very good with words are you?" said Liz, going to his side.

"nope, but I do understand what you mean Mason." Jessica said softly and smiled to him.

"I'll work on being more useful, so you better not slack off... and jeez will she wake up" she then plugged her nose. and that quickly woke up Rebecca.

"Hey...! that mean" what if I died!" she said holding her nose looking to Jessica and then around the room.

"what?" she asked. before sitting up, now back to her usual attitude and self.

"nothing... alright, I'll get changed and tend to my own work... meanwhile you two start working together..." he gave orders, but let them do about it however they wanted.

"Master, I'll stick with you... there is something I want to talk with you about" Liz said, and now, Jessica noticed how everyone wanted time with him.

"fine... just wait outside for me." he told her, as he looked for clothes, yet she didn't budge. "really honestly stay by me... even as I changed? I don't need to be helped hand and foot" he said, and nothing from her.

"and?" she asked.

"fine. fine... I was never one to care..." he said and started to get changed in front of them. it didn't take, and his entire body got them shaken up. scars heard to toe from his chest to his feet. he had been through an ordeal, and yet his body was new. every scar on him meant something from his last life, and non said a thing as they just watched and waited for there king to be ready for the day, of course Rebecca also did change. "we really need to do something about clothes... maybe start making our own? what do you ladies think?" he asked turning around to them knowing a little sadness was in the air.

"it would help with the struggle and blandness around here... but, well need someone who can do it and teach us... learning from scratch might just set us back from progress" Jessica said, and Mason just sighed. "one thing after another we're just gonna be struggling... won't we?" he said, as there was a knock on the ddoor.

"may I come in?" a woman asked.

"sure..." Mason said, and was met with the nun from the church. only instead of wearing the cloth of the church, she had been in a maid outfit.

"this is sudden..." he said to her and she was just confused.

"What do you mean your grace?"

"your not in the cloth of the church..."

"oh that... I no longer wanted to be remembered about those time... thanks to you, in this new home. I figured I'd work as your maid and tend to the home... the other sister, who was with me, are doing the same" she explained with a soft smile.

"is that so... good for you, able to adapt and move on..." he praised her, since having her freedom back. she had a clear goal, and wanted to move on from the past life of abuse.

"You want to tell us something." he asked as she then nodded.

thanks to the changes Jessica did there bodies, she had now ears and tail of that matched dogs. she was a demi human now. "well, I overheard some of the taking, and for that I'm sorry, but I think I can help with the issue on clothes... when... I wasn't being tortured... I would be forced to make clothes..." she held out her hand showing cuts and calluses from stitching and knitting. "someone had to make clothes for those children... and someone had to fix ripped clothes... when they kept coming off" she said with a smile. knowing what grim meaning was implied.

Mason. then asked. "are you sure...? do you want to do this?"

the girls looked at him, wondering why he asked. but. giving it another through and to what she said. it made sense why he wanted to asked her.

"oh I don't mind! now I can make clothes! once that won't be ripped!" she held her hands under her and bowed. "that's all your grace"

"hold on... your name... what's your name... and how old are you" he asked.

and she answered. "I'm Elli. and I'm only 15. why does it matter?" she asked a little concerned.

"Elli, got it... as for your age, don't worry about it. I was just curious I'm sorry if that was rude or startled you..." he cleared up and then added on. "I won't ask you to work hard... but please do. you'll be doing everyone a favor... if you need anything let me directly"

"or us!" Jessica said. "well make sure to hell bring everything you need..."

"oh, alright sure! I mean of course" she said working on how to speak formally.

"I like when your more casual Elli. your free to go. just don't over do it" he told her as she nodded leaving shortly.

"by the grace of gods..." he joked.

"oh shove it... we just got lucky there... but one girl can't do it all. and she is so young we can have her do the clothes for everyone here, there's at least a little over 150 of us in total." Liz said concerned. "then why not work with her?" Mason asked.

"we need to start working on this town, crops won't grow themselves and neither will clothes. so how about you all do me a favor. go and gather any one interested in helping her. we divise up the people. some can ever start working on being guards. of course anyone old enough, her age or more only do you understand" he said.

"no complaints here sir. I'll find cabale woman to take over the places of the other Valkyiers." Rebecca said.

"awesome, alright let's all leave the room. Liz with me" he told her, leaving the bedroom with her.

"someone acted pretty cool" Liz teased. "not at all... I just... never mind" he said shortly after and kept walking. "what did you need Liz?" he asked with his palms in his pockets.

"well, I wanted you, to work on magic. your magic is incredible that fire tornado spell you used, I never seem anything like it... so I wanted to see what other spells you can create... I'm fluent with magic, and if you help me, I'll help Jessica learn. she's the goddess of life and I'd hate leave the goddess behind." she said. out of concern for her Mistress.

"do druids look up to her?" he asked.

"yes, she's the mother of all life. created of this world. do you have any idea how big this is." she asked him.

"not a clue... to me, she's just the woman that summoned here, and helped me get my bearings" she said.

"You don't mean that, and that pretty rude." she said using her bow on his side.

"I dont.. but, I just don't know what she's capable of.. so it's hard to say, I got know you and the queen. but her hardly." he said and then looked to her.

"well, she has the ability to reform and create life. but after what's happened it seems like the world is imbalanced. I want to help and protect her, so please help me learn more magic" she asked.

"but I don't know any..." he said.

"but you can create new magic... just help me. and I'll keep helping you understand this world and what exactly connects us and to the world tree" she said holding onto his arm.

"I don't have a choice... do i?" he said and agreed. "fine... next time... we bring her along... I'm sure she can be quite the support mage if you wish to be more of the offensive..." he said and this got her excited.

"that would interesting... and honestly. I like it. next time, she'll come along. also, I'm happy that your thinking about her..." she smiled.

"I did save her life... I can't her dying or not relying that debt... the least I did ask of you all is for your loyalty and that's how I want her to help" he finished and left through the back door of the mansion with her walking into the forest together to work on magic now.

The week, was something for all of them. growing closer, developing magic, techniques and new spells. not to mention training in many ways, physically and spiritual. all the while they minted their town the best they could.
