Survival Day 02

"Alright, everyone, since I'm the only one who is not a zombie like you guys, how about you follow my instructions for a while?" Lenin addresses everyone outside the tent in the morning, observed by the watching bird.

"Like we ever follow you, pest," scoffs Sharia, but everyone ignores him.

"Okay then, we will divide into four groups. Group one will search for food, group two will collect wood and kindle them, group three will rebuild the tents, and group four will scout the area. Since 11 students are already eliminated due to sickness, each group will consist of 4 students. Orni will lead group one, Sharia group two, Liya group three, and I'll lead group four. If you need any guidance, you can ask me; I've read the whole guidebook. I mean, that's how you can avoid getting negative points. I have only one condition. Now, everyone, get to work," Lenin instructs.

"All 16 of them are doing well. I didn't expect them to work together so effectively. That boy memorized the whole guidebook. Other students are using the knowledge through him. What kind of wood will burn easily, what type of tree should be used to make tents, what kind of fruits are available, what should be done to prevent mosquitoes, what can be used as antiseptics — they are learning everything. But only Jacob Lenin will get all the negative points," Teacher George observes.

Liya and Lenin stand in front of the fountain.

"Hey, top student, how many negative points will you get for reading the whole guidebook?" asks Liya.

"10,000," replies Lenin.

"Each of us will have to give you 1000 points on the tenth day. That was a cool deal earlier. That will make you the richest student with 15,000 points," Liya points out.

"Well, I was hoping to make 20,000 at least," Lenin remarks.

"Wait a minute, except you, we were 21 students, right?" Liya questions.

"I thought she would be eliminated," Lenin points toward Orni.

"Oh yeah, surviving ten days here would be a piece of cake," Sharia dances around the bonfire.

Day two is going smoothly so far. Suddenly, Sharia and some guys confront each other.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys? If you want to fight someone desperately, then bring it on," challenges Sharia.

"We don't have time for a small fry like you. Tell your mastermind friend that it's the last time he is getting our points," warns one of the guys.

"What was that? You think that pest is my friend?" retorts Sharia, almost punching one of them until Lenin intervenes.

"No need to fight them, loser. Let me have a chat with them, please," Lenin requests.

Sharia reluctantly leaves, and Lenin introduces the guys, Gary Latham and John Blackman. After a tense exchange, the two guys leave, and Lenin reflects, "Do as you like, guys."

Standing alone away from the camp, Lenin reflects, "What's wrong with those guys? They're convincing everyone that I'm the bad guy here. Well, who cares." As he pees, a rabbit watches him. "Shoooo... Go away... Shoooo... Shooooooo."
