Chapter 38: Who are you?

Elder Wu didn't understand why Lu Chen wants him to train him. He asks him, "Young master, why do you need to be trained?"

"I realize physically, I'm weak. Even though I built up some muscle, it's not enough for me to protect myself. I need to learn some techniques to protect myself." Lu Chen knew his physique was on the fitter side compare to other students. Zhang was like an outlier as he works out a lot. But it wasn't going to be enough for anybody that knows how to fight. Remembering how he wasn't able to budge Zhang Jian even a bit, it was frustrating.

From the expression Lu Chen had when he said this, Elder Wu knew he is serious. He smiles at him, "Young master, I will train you. However, with my old age, I doubt I can teach you any advanced fighting techniques. Body conditioning and some self-defense techniques, on the other hand, I can help enhance."

"Mmm, that's enough for now." Lu Chen smiles as he was happy that Elder Wu agreed. He currently needs to get his body into a better fighting shape. Advanced techniques can be worried about later for him.

After Lu Chen got Elder Wu's agreement, Lu Chen walks into the manor.

"Lao Ma, I'm home!"

"Xiao Chen, welcome home. Dinner will be ready in a few minutes, so go get change, okay?" Zhang Wenling shouts from the kitchen as she is cooking.

"Kay, Lao ma." Lu Chen said as he took off his shoes and placed them in the cubby.

Lu Hao walks to the front door to ask Lu Chen if he wanna play video games. He asks, "Hey, Lu Chen, do you want to play..." Before he could finish saying his sentence, he freezes as he looks at Lu Chen.

"What?" Lu Chen notices that Lu Hao had just suddenly stopped talking. Is something wrong with him?

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Lu Hao shouts at him. He's confused as to why a handsome stranger was walking into his home.

"Hah? It's me, second bro. I just got a haircut." Lu Chen shakes his head at how Lu Hao is overreacting. Well, it is weird that I suddenly cut my hair. After all, who would believe a gloomy kid would actually turn into a handsome young man was his brother.

"I don't believe it. How could my cheeky brother turn into a prince in one day? Besides, he shouldn't be this handsome." Lu Hao said in disbelief. He tries to test Lu Chen, " Tell me something that only my snotty brother would know?"

Seriously? Lu Chen sighs. He explains, "When I was nine years old, I saw you and first brother going through Lao Ba's stuff. Then-"

Before Lu Chen could finish what he was saying, Lu Hao wasn't going to let him. He quickly places his hand over his mouth to shut him up. Lu Hao said while shouting,

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Pull it back! Pull it back!" That day was something Lu Hao will never forget.

It was the utmost secret that only he and Lu Aotian were supposed to know, but the youngest witness the whole thing, and the two had to use all their piggy bank money to shut Lu Chen up. If Lu Chen ever spills the beans about it, then Lu Xiaotong would beat the living daylights out of the two of them.

Lu Chen felt this day is just tiring, " Do you believe me now?" Just cutting his hair was enough to garner questioning from Lu Hao.

"Yes, yes! I believe you. Can we please change the subject, please!" Sweating, Lu Hao said his piece in rapid succession. He's scared of what would happen if Lu Xiaotong heard their conversation.

"Lu Hao, can you stop screaming at home all the time?" Lu Aotian lectures as he came to the front door to see why Lu Aotian was screaming the daylights out. However, when he saw Lu Chen, he had the same expression Lu Hao was giving before.

He said to Lu Chen, " Who are you?"

And here we go again, Lu Chen sighs as he just wants to take a nap. He starts to go through the same process now with his first brother.
