A Brief Journey

A well-deserved five star. It is rare to encounter a good story paired with a great writing style. Few sentences in and I am completely immersed. The author has the ability to convey the happenings in such an intricate manner. The descriptive elements are never-lacking as the readers delve in to the world. It is definitely a type of story that I would read. I see no errors in the grammar. The pacing is good as well. Keep up the good work.

If words can create worlds, this is a perfect example of how such an accomplishment can be achievable. In a single sentence, there is more detail present than what I could write in a single paragraph. It is evident that there is much more than just a brief journey being told, as the layers of detail that keeps you constantly thinking and on the edge of your seat, will forever be engrained in your mind.

Okay, I like this one very much. It’s well-written but doesn’t rely an any of the popular thropes that have taken over webnovel. Nit that there’s something wrong with liking popular thropes but personally I’ve grown tired of it and reading this really set a new standard for me. Keep it up Author.

This story feels more on the historic side if I'm not wrong. I love the way how the author tells us the story, almost as if we are watching a movie in our imaginative head. There were some grammar mistakes here and there, but not everyone is perfect, so that is fine. I can't give an accurate description of the world background since this story is still in it's beginning stages. However, this story is a good read and I will definitely add this to my library.

Very well, I haven't read it all, and I'm writting this as to take a little break before I keep going. And so far the only thing I have to say is the following "Incredible", from the first chapter this sucks you in, the world, the characters and the incredable writting is just the cherry on top. Honestly, after I'm finished here, I will go straight back to reading!

The author done a very good job in describing the scenarios, which made it easy for me to imagine myself in the mc shoes. The plot was unique and immediately piqued my Interest. Well these chapters so far were both a bit of a torment and a pleasure. I honestly did not expect any author on webnovel to have me Google terms like sangfroid... The language and terms fits the time of snobbish upper middle class so it fits. The world background is what it is early 20th century Paris so no need to dwell on that. I could see some mistakes but they were minor and I put comments on the paragraphs where I was at least 90% sure the author did not use that word on purpose. Anyway, it is different from anything I read on webnovel before and I wish the author can get the audience it deserves.

I've never really been a fan of history but you made it interesting. The way you wrote the book is very clean and professional. I llike it ❤👍

The main character is fleshed out and complex, the story seems very interesting and it manages to suck you in even after only 2 chapters. I would love to see where this story goes, the foreshadowing already has me guessing. Love it

I have to admit, I was kind of confused at first that I had to reread just to write this review. The writing quality is really great! I was kind of surprised to encounter such a story in this platform. I love the image that was painted with the words. As for the character design, Richard was a fully-realized character. As for the story, I think it was too short. I would love to read more and get to know the character better. Overall, it was good though I wish it had been longer.

This is a good quality of a writer. On the whole a good story but too I am not too happy that it is a very short story and ends abruptly. You can continue it if you wish. I don't know if I'm in my place to critique but ... For me whom was English was not my first language, some of the words you used were too deep for me to the point that I need to search it on portal site. I mean, it's not that it was bad just that, some words are too scary for me. But still overall, it was totally entertaining ang engaging. As if I'm in the world of the novel itself. It's totally descriptive as every details had been put into place. My only concern is that some people like me whom was English was not their first language like China, Japan and Korea or simply Asia itself, they might find this book creepy with such unknown words written it. My friends reacted that way when I showed it to them. They say that it's like a bible that they won't read even if it's entertaining. I hope my review didn't offend you in some way! The story was very engaging and descriptive. Knowing history, I felt like I could put myself in the main character's shoes and imagine what events could be occurring at that time period. It could be a little difficult for readers who learned English as a second language, but the story is conveyed almost perfectly. I don't really mind that it's short. There's really no point of adding more chapters. It was meant to be a concise story with a simple premise, so people shouldn't care if the story was too short. Obviously, the author doesn't see this story to get too big and equivalent to a 2000+ chapter stories, which is scary to imagine. Anyways, this story is a personal favorite and I recommend others to read this.
