"mr gerald, you can take your daughter home she is physically okay however she can't move a lot or overwork herself before a week at least, her mental health might be a bit shaken too, someone should stay by her side all the time.."

-gerald: "thank you doctor.."

Gerald headed to the room where mina was to find Daniel sitting on the floor outside the room hugging his knees and as soon as he saw gerald, he stood up for him

-gerald: "daniel?"

-daniel: "goodmorning sir,"

(-gerald: "was he here watching over her all night??")

Daniel left with mina and her father to their house and helped her make it to her room.

-daniel: "here you are princess.. lay down"

He fixed the pillow for her

"don't move, I'll help you change"

-mina: "I want to take a shower.. I feel filthy.."

-daniel: "you sure? If you're tired, i can wet a towel and wipe your body okay?"

Mina didn't take her eyes off him the whole time, She kept watching him from her bed preparing a change of clothes for her,

A clean towel, and doing whatever he could to help

-mina: "...danny,"

-daniel: "yes mina?"

-mina: "it's crazy how.. you.. my boyfriend restrained yourself from kissing me, then these strangers used me in all ways possible.."

He sat on the bed next to her and put his hand on hers

-daniel: "hushh.. don't think about it.."

He then put his hand on her cheek gently and kissed her forehead

"it's over now, it was all a nightmare, i don't mean to make you suppress your feelings i just don't want you to exhaust yourself. No matter how you feel, you can let it all out on me.. I'm here for you, but please don't change."

-mina: "I love you daniel. Thank you."

After a very long exhausting day,

Mina and Daniel went to bed.

Daniel didn't want to leave her alone so he made a place for himself on the sofa.

-mina: "daniel,"

-daniel: "yes mina?"

-mina: "why're you sleeping there? My bed is for two."

-daniel: "I know it's for two, but it's still yours alone.. and.. I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable"

-mina: "daniel, please I'm scared come sleep next to me and hug me please"

Sensing the pain and fear in her voice, Daniel got up and layed down next to her, after making sure that she was okay with him being so close to her, he took her between his arms and held her tightly.

-daniel: "this is good?"

-mina: "yes.. it is."

After trying so hard to fall asleep, mina couldn't help but start crying so suddenly.

-daniel: "mina?? What's wrong? You want me to leave??"

-mina: "n-no.. please stay like this don't move,"

-daniel: "okay.. I'm sorry"

He hugged her closer as if he was making sure that she isn't going anywhere out of his sight ever again

"cry all you want, let it all out.. you can talk to me."

-mina: "i- I tried, hoped and sought, until despair took me. I screamed, yelled and shouted, until silence fell. My hands stuck to the ground, and my speech was lost due to my paralyzed lips. things that I didn't even understand ruined my soul and body.

I know, myself is not to blame for giving up so easily.. yet, I wonder, why did the heart of me still pulse? Why didn't it just stop like every other part of my body? I should've died..

I should've just died.."

Her words broke his heart,

If just words made him kinda experience the mental torture and pain she's felt, then what about the actual thing? It must've felt worse.. so much worse.

He lifted her head up from the chin

And looked into her teary eyes

-daniel: "mina.. you should've died? And leave me alone?.. I'm not leaving you alone, I'll always stick by your side till you get better, when all this ends and we make it to university I will marry you.. we will have kids, Little mina that will make you forget even about me let alone the ugly things. I'm sorry, i'm not a great talker and not so good with words but i'll do my best to console you and be always here for you.. even when you don't need me anymore"

-mina: "nothing can make me forget about you.. and you're doing more than enough.. more than i even deserve.."

She then buried her face in his tiny chest while Daniel asked

-Daniel: "it's okay to live in my house in the first years of our marriage till I get to buy a more suitable one right?"

-Mina: "No need for any new house.. I love that one, I want to spend the rest of my life there."

-Daniel: "but it's narrow for a home."

-Mina: "love is what makes some four walls and a roof a home,"

#week 2#

-daniel: "hey mina wanna play?"

-mina: "play what?"

-daniel: "i don't know.. let's go out and see"

-mina: "NO! I can't.. i don't wanna step out of the house."

-daniel: "mina im with you.. we'll just go to the yard and it's a part of the house so there's nothing to be afraid of.. and look"

He opened her room's window and pulled the curtains away

"it's a beautiful day don't you think?"

She approached the window with slow hesitant steps then looked through it Feeling the sunlight and wind on her skin

-mina: "yea but.."

Daniel grabbed her hand and dragged her behind

-daniel: "then let's gooo!!!"

-mina: "woah wait up!!!"

*Outside*

-daniel: "see? It's even more beautiful now that you're out."

She stepped on the grass slowly

-mina: "my heart's beating so fast i.."

-daniel: "mina.. it's day time relax okay? Let's play hide and seek"

She smiled at him as she said

-mina: "okay, let's do this loser."

-daniel: "huh are you assuming that I'm going to lose? why're you so sure?"

-mina: "because you can't hide from me!"

-Daniel: "aah! You got me there. But I'll do my best."

Gerald was watching them from his office in the second floor

-Gerald: "She seems to be getting better..

I'm really glad to have Daniel help me with her, I'll never be able to understand her the way he does.. Because there are some things that she can't be open with me about, unlike him."

He sighed then continued

"I'm grateful, but also jealous.. that's my daughter"

#week 3#

Daniel and mina were revising the lessons they skipped, till she suddenly stopped writing and put her head on the table

-mina: ".. im tired"

-daniel: "we've just started mina."

-mina: "i don't feel like studying let's have a break"

Daniel took his glasses off and leaned back on the chair, he was confused but ready to do whatever mina wanted

-daniel: "okay, if that's what you want"

-mina: "im having cramps in my stomach with so much pain ugh.."

He caressed her hair softly with a worried expression on his face

-Daniel: "is it something you ate?"

-mina: "i don't know.. I'll take a nap"

She got up of her seat and walked heading to bed, As soon as she back faced him, Daniel noticed something

-daniel: "m-mina.."

-mina: "yes?"

-daniel: "t-there's b-blood on yo-ur shorts"

-mina: "eh?! This is so.. (embarrassing.. how didn't i feel it!!!)"

-daniel: "we know the cause of the pain now.."

-mina: "yea.. I'll go change."

She went to the bathroom only to realize that she was not keeping any pads in there, and as she took too long inside, Daniel who was waiting for her outside started to get worried

-daniel: "mina you okay?"

-mina: "yea..but.. i forgot to get.. pads"

-daniel: "Just tell me where i can find them?"

-mina: "in the closet drawer.

After letting her change and get some rest, Daniel came back to her with a cup of a warm herbal drink

-daniel: "how're you feeling?"

-mina: "better.. but the pain won't go."

-daniel: "here.. I made this for you"

She took a sip

-mina: "what's this it smells and tastes good but it's unfamiliar"

-daniel: "a mix of Chamomile flower and mint, it's good for stomach aches."

-mina: "wow thank you it warmed me up."

-daniel: "no need"

-mina: "what're you reading?"

-daniel: "it's a novel"

-mina: "what's it about?"

-daniel: "it's about a very strong knight in an ancient kingdom...."
