Nothing lasts#2
-kai: "danny, you know when melissa went up to the board yesterday in class"
-daniel: "what about her?"
-kai: "her bra fell off."
-daniel: "..the heck? How do you know?"
-kai: "i could tell from her eyes."
-daniel: "JUST FROM THE EYES?"
-kai: "not the eyes on her face!! The other ones dummy!!"
-daniel: ".. you know im done with you, give me that book and shut up I wanna focus. What an idiot"

On her way to Daniel's house mina noticed a very strange thing..
an unfamiliar big black car parked in a very empty calm alley she has to pass by to get to Daniel's place,
That creeped her out a bit, but she didn't care much as she thought it was for someone new in the city.
And as soon as she got near the car three masked men went out of it, covered her mouth and pushed her in forcibly.

-daniel: "what took her so long, she said she was coming"
-kai: "maybe she went to her home"
-daniel: "ain't no way she texted me 2hrs ago saying that she is on her way here, can you go see her?"
-kai: "I cannot leave you alone danny"
-daniel: "just go kai she might be in trouble, I'm fine"
-kai: "no you're not, you can't even grab a cup of water for yourself"
-daniel: "GO PLEASE KAI!! PLEASE!
You don't want me to tell anya about melissa do you?"
-kai: "okay fine, but if it happened and she got home I'd kill you"
-daniel: "okay deal,"

When he went out looking for her,
Kai couldn't find her but he wasn't that worried, he believed that she must've gone home already.
-kai: "where the hell she is.."
And so he called Daniel to inform him
"Hey danny, I couldn't find her anywhere near you know?"
-daniel: "you sure? Did you go to her house?"
-kai: "seriously? Why don't you just call and ask her"
-daniel: "she isn't answering her phone kai"
-kai: "ask her dad dan,"
-daniel: "okay.."
(-kai: "if she is trying to break his heart again I'll kill her")
As he was thinking to himself after hanging up, he noticed the same car mina saw
"huh? I've never seen this one around here before.. this is odd, they might be drugs dealers or something"
He carefully approached the car and knocked on one of the windows.
"anyone here??.."
He got no response
"Looks like they parked it here and left, anyway I have some other things to worry about"
Kai walked away from the car. and on his way back to Daniel's, he got a call from him.
-daniel: "kai, she is not home, her dad doesn't know where she is!"
-kai: "we should report this I guess?"
-daniel: "we can't before 24hrs of her disappearance"
-kai: "is her phone available?"
-daniel: "yea.."
-kai: "okay I think we should track its location"
-daniel: "good idea, I'm meeting up with mr gerald now we'll work together to find her"

"In that day.. these three dudes lived their fantasies while I experienced the worst nightmare ever, "what did I do to deserve this?" This question kept running through my head till I lost consciousness.. I tried my best to escape, but they were three.. i was one
They were men.. i was a girl
They were all prepared for it.. i wasn't even able to believe that something like that was actually happening.
I fought the dizziness, numbness and the pain I was feeling and tried my best to recognize their faces, their voices.. but nothing worked, they were all covered up
And they made sure not to open their mouths with a single word..
I got back my consciousness from time to time, like when I was being carried out of the car, and when I was thrown away somewhere.
And the next time I opened my eyes
I saw my angel running toward me and repeating my name.
Daniel's here now.. but where am I?
I cannot talk, I cannot move, I don't feel any fabric on my skin,
And everything happened till now feels like an illusion.."

-daniel: "MINA!!! Mina! What happened"
He kneeled and put her head on his lap.
"mina you awake?"
Daniel was afraid and anxious..
He didn't understand how she ended up there and in that condition.
He kept trying to make her get back her consciousness by opening her eyes with his fingers gently and wiping his hand on her face.
"kai!! Go call her dad, the police and the ambulance GO!"
-kai: "okay but.. here take my jacket put it on her"
Kai on the other hand, was shocked and in denial of what he was seeing.
It was his idea to not bring her father along with them when they found her location and he did the best thing.
Because no father on this earth would be able to handle seeing his daughter in such a horrible condition.
When her phone's location was indicated in the cemetery they thought that she had gone there in a moment of missing her mother..
Who'd think that it was gonna be such a mess..
-daniel: "Mina what brought you to this cemetery? And why're you all injured, naked and.. bleeding?"
(-mina: "cemetery? Yea cemetery, i think I'm dead")
(-daniel: "she can't even hear me, what in the hell has happened? Who did this to her..")
After that, mina was taken to the closest hospital.

-anya: "daniel quit crying, she'll be okay"
-daniel: "..I can't.. the only time she needed me to protect her I wasn't there anya, I wasn't!"
Kai got down to daniel as He was sitting on the floor and hugging his knees
-kai: "hey take it easy buddy, it wasn't your fault at all, we will find who did this and they will get the punishment they deserve"
Once he saw mina's father coming out of the doctor's office, Daniel got up and ran to him
-daniel: "sir! Tell me..what happened?? Huh?
Is she okay??"
-gerald: "she is getting better, she got back her consciousness and her mental state is back to normal.."
-kai: "but what got her there, and why was she in that condition?"
-gerald: ".. she was raped,"
He covered his face with his hand to hide the tears that were dropping from his desperate eyes.
-anya: "..what!?"
Daniel couldn't bring himself to say anything, and couldn't lift his head up to face gerald's.
He felt guilt, shame, despair, grudge to whoever did that as well as a strong desire to run away.. with no destination in mind, he just felt like running away, As far as possible.
He was zoned out the whole time,
That he didn't notice that jay and his father angelo were there now till he heard jay talking
-jay: "we're so sorry for what happened"
-angelo: "we're sorry gerald, I'll help you find who did this to your daughter."
Kai was bothered by jay and Angelo's presence so he held Anya's hand and asked her and Daniel to leave.
-kai: "Anya, daniel.. let's go"
-daniel: "I can't go now kai.."
-angelo: "Aren't you John's son? Your father was my bestfriend we were partners in work"
-kai: "save this bullshit to yourself, my father wasn't your friend.. everyone here knows what happened."
-jay: "watch your mouth""
-angelo: "jay!"
-jay: "Yes father?"
-angelo: "I didn't even ask you to come with me.. leave and come back later"
-kai: "danny, anya and I will be waiting for you in the cafeteria in the first floor"
-daniel: "okay.."
-angelo: "gerald, I'm by your side.. I'll find them. I have to leave for now, I'll come back later to see her when she wakes up..
I'll bring jay too he'll make her feel better"
A few moments after Angelo's left
The doctor gave Daniel and gerald the permission to go see mina.
"sir, you can go in and see your daughter she is awake.."
-Daniel: "SHE IS??"
Once they entered the room, Daniel quickly sat on the edge of the bed when gerald stayed standing holding her hand
-daniel: "mina.. I'm sorry,"
-gerald: "my dear daughter.."
-mina: "why are yall sad and..?? I'm not dead you know"
She looked at her dad and then at Daniel
"I'm still alive daniel.. and I'm still the mina you know, right? Yall won't be treating me differently and sympathize with me right? right??"
-daniel: "OF COURSE"
He leaned over and wiped away her tears
"you'll always be the same.. I'm sad because I wasn't there when you needed me the most.."
Despair, sadness, tragedy.. nothing but these feelings were in that hospital room, three broken hearts were trying to comfort each other

*the cafeteria*
-kai: "so this life won't give daniel a break,"
-anya: "should we head there? Angelo must've left"
-kai: "yea let's go.."
On their way back to see mina, kai and Anya ran into jay who was still wandering in the hospital.
Kai told anya to go ahead of him while he stayed behind to talk to Jay.

-jay: "get the fuck outta my way"
-kai: "what a coincidence"
-jay: "it's no coincidence, you already knew i was here"
-kai: "no, i'm talking about how mina got raped by three dudes right after she slapped you, And oh! Three is the number of your squad"
-jay: "haha! Your imagination is wild,
I don't have time for your bullshit though. And i think that i don't have to remind you that mina is my childhood friend and she means so much to me"
Jay pushed kai aside and continued his way
