The following week, on Thursday

Mina and Daniel went together to his house and cooked together like they did on every other Thursday.

-mina: "i love cooking Thursdays! we had a lot of fun together.. now tell me that you're the one coming with me tomorrow?"

-daniel: "yea I will, I promise"

-mina: "yes!! I'll get ready for that..

Should I come pick you up, or you come by yourself?"

-daniel: "don't bother.. you make sure your dad doesn't fly away"

They high fived each other and smiled.

-mina: "yeeee"

In the next morning, Daniel woke up a little too early, he got ready and  sat in the living room thinking to himself

"I think i gotta get her something on my way.. but what's it? Hmm.."

In these moments, he heard the doorbell and so headed to answer.

"Don't tell me it's mina.. I told her

That there's no need for her to pick me up"

He then opened the door.

-Ethan: "Daniel!! Did you know that luna was pregnant???"

-daniel: "..yea now that I think about it, i could tell"

-ethan: "COME WITH ME!! You need to see her little ones"

Ethan hugged Daniel's arm and dragged him behind leading him to where luna was hiding her kittens.

-ethan: "look!! I was going to name the black one kai!! But they're not dogs"

-daniel: "wow they are so small and cute"

-ethan: "i know right?"

-daniel: "THIS IS IT! ethan you're a genius!!"

-ethan: "huh??"

-daniel: "this would be perfect"

He carried one of the kittens

"I'm taking this white one"

-ethan: "why?"

-daniel: "for mina kid"

-ethan: "BIG BRO YOU ARE A SIMP"

-daniel: "mind your owm business ethan, or I'll tell aunt nisa about the trouble you did in school the other time and introced me to your teacher as your actual big brother!"

-ethan: "I'm sorry! Don't pleaaase"

-daniel: "it's okay"

Daniel put the kitten in a beautiful box along with some chocolate and other stuff

he then headed to mina's house and once he got there he texted her.

-daniel: "..whenever I see this big gate I get nervous"

When Daniel saw mina approaching the gate wearing a very pretty dress, he waved at her.

-mina: "hi I'm happy to see you"

She got closer and hugged him.

-daniel: "how are you?"

-mina: "you're here how would I be?"

Daniel pulled back slowly and handed over the box and bags to her.

-mina : "what's inside?"

-daniel: "i don't know see for yourself"

She opened the box and was surprised with what was inside of it.

-mina: "whaaaaaat?"

-daniel: "it's Luna's kitten so take good care of her"

-mina: "I'd like to but.. you know why I don't have a cat."

-daniel: "I know, but that was in the past.. you're starting over together with me, and this cat is a sign.."

-mina: ".. I love you.."

they went inside as she continued

"my father is so excited to see you, he is waiting for us in the backyard"

-daniel: ".. I'm kinda nervous"

-mina: "don't be, I will just introduce you and we'll spend the rest of the day together without him"

-daniel: "yea but still.."

Daniel was amazed by how big and beautiful the yard was. It had a fountain, wood chairs here and there, and was full of flowers of every color, plants and trees. It was more like a garden.

As soon as he saw them, gerald stood up to welcome Daniel and shaked hands with him.

It was a normal handshake.. but for Daniel it was more than that, He took the hand gerald gave him between his two hands and didn't know when to let go of it till it got very awkward.

-gerald: "you let go of the handshake when it's over son,"

-daniel: "s-sorry sir"

-gerald: "so you're Daniel, mina's boyfriend?"

-daniel: "(she really told him) y-yea I'm"

-gerald: "please have a seat. I heard a lot about you.. she told me about how good and polite you are, my daughter likes you so much and to be honest I've not seen her this happy since her mother died"

-daniel: "I'm glad she feels safe and happy with me, that's my number one priority now.."

-gerald: "thank you son."

-mina: "so dad you'll be okay with it if we get married?"

-daniel: "m-mina!"

He blushed and was so nervous and kinda anxious, He was not expecting her father to be so chill about it all.

-gerald: "HAHAHA, he really is shy just like you told me.. it's too early for this conversation, but if y'all lasted together, I don't see why not."

-mina: "of course we will last forever!"

-daniel: "I- I'll do my best sir.."

They all then had lunch together after introducing themselves and getting a simple idea of how each one of them is like.

And after that, mina took daniel in a tour around the house.

-daniel: "wow you have a huge library and you have a lot of interesting books there"

-mina: "really? We'll pass by it again when you're leaving and you can take whatever you like."

-daniel: "no.. no need thank you"

-mina: "shut up.. you're family now, plus all these books were mom's and she's no longer here so.. you can read them"

-daniel: "I love your room too.."

-mina: "hmmm pervert"

-daniel: "W-WHAT!? THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT.."

-Mina: "hahahhah cool down dan! I'm joking"

Daniel kept staring at her while she was laughing from the heart,

He was so happy with how good things were getting.

He smiled slightly as he thought to himself

("so people who cause the scar can heal it?")

-daniel: "wow the time flew by, I'm finally home.. but I kinda wish I'm not"

Daniel got back home, changed and was resting in the living room.

he put all the books he got from mina on the table and was going to arrange them,

But Kai suddenly unlocked the door and came in.

-kai: "DANIEL!"

-daniel: "ah damn you won't let me rest will you?"

-kai: "I'm in trouble!"

-daniel: "oh so unusual! Should I act like I'm surprised!?"

-kai: "it's serious this time.."

-daniel: "what is it?"

-kai: "my mom's so mad at me because I.."

-daniel: "no need to continue.. I'm not gonna stand by your side against aunt shiley sorry"

-kai: "OH REALLY!? Imma kill you puppy"

As he saw kai approaching him, Daniel got up and backed off.

-daniel: "ey stay away from me don't you dare do that headlock on me!!"

kai: "where did you get all these books from nerd?"

The books caught kai's attention making him forget about what he was going to do.

He then sat down on the carpet and started checking them.

-daniel: "..mina"

-kai: "oooooo I seeeeee.. by the way, coach alex wants you"

-daniel: "kai he already knows I lost passion for karate, I couldn't keep going"

-kai: "just give it another shot!! How're you gon protect your girl dan?"

-daniel: "I don't know man, life's finally becoming peaceful I don't think I'd need to.."

-kai: "you can never know what may happen.. think about it"

-daniel: "I don't know,"

-kai: "you happy danny?"

-daniel: "yea thanks to you"

-kai: "I love you bud"

-daniel: "I love you more"

-kai: "aaah what a relief.. I can sleep all day now"

-anya: "sleep??? Summer is not for sleeping!!!"

-daniel: "yea she's right,"

-mina: "we'll have a lot of fun! We'll go out everyday and do a lot of activities"

-anya: "yesssss I'm so excited AAAAAAA"

-mina: "we will have a sleepover, play dress up and do each other's makeup"

-anya: "YAAAAAAAAAA"

-kai: "you two are crazy where are you bringing this energy from?"

-daniel: "no how could a lazy man like you be so energetic in sports that's the question"

-kai: "well.. when it comes to increasing my teddies size I don't let laziness hold me back" he whispered to him

-daniel: "SHUT UP!"

-kai: "BIG TEDDIES ARE FOR EVERYONE!!" he shouted in the middle of the street

-anya: "oh my god, shut up shut up"

-mina: "AHAHAHHAHAHA"

-daniel: "we told you a million time to stop saying your inner thoughts out loud"
