-shiley: "kai, put your phone down and eat your food"

-daniel: "he must be texting anya,"

-kai: "hm? Yes mom?"

When shiley noticed that kai's mind was absent and he couldn't even focus with what she was telling him, she took his phone away.

-shiley: "I said eat your food"

-kai: "MOM! Okay anya went offline anyway"

-daniel: "I knew it"

-shiley: "this girl took his mind, but I don't blame him she is so sweet"

-shiley: "and the height difference between them is so embarrassing!"

Daniel seemed to be enjoying how shiley was embarrassing kai and he was laughing so hard at every word she says.

-daniel: "i know right?"

-kai: "talk about mina! Forget about scary, she doesn't show no expressions, she is like a ghost.. plus she is taller than you"

-shiley: "oh yea, forgot to ask.. yall are together?"

-kai: "not yet, he wishes"

After dinner the two played a little, watched TV, then headed to bed..

Daniel couldn't sleep though, he kept tossing and turning in the bed overthinking the situation ship him and mina are in.

-shiley: "kai, daniel wake up!! Anya's already here she's waiting for you and the breakfast's ready"

They all had breakfast together while talking about fun topics on the table,

They then all left to school.

Kai headed back home as the other two continued their way to school.

She picked up

"Hello daniel"

-daniel: "hi mina, how are you"

-anya: "put it on speaker"

Daniel put the phone on speaker as anya told him.

Mina put her phone back in her jacket's pocket and continued her talk with the other girls.

Daniel didn't hang up and kept eavesdropping while his heart was beating so fast, he didn't know whom they were talking about but he knew her answer would whether help him confess or move on.

Daniel was deeply shocked and hurt, feeling all that despair and pain sneak into his chest very slowly.

All the laughs and good times he had with her flashed before his eyes.

He couldn't believe his ears.. he wished for what he heard to be a lie or some kind of a prank.. but he knew it wasn't..

Daniel hung up and ran back to his house, he almost got hit by a car when he was crossing the road because of how blurry his vision became when his eyes gargled with tears. He wished it could hit him and end all that shame he was feeling.

Anya shouted out loud for him to come back even though she knew he wasn't.

She went up to the class to find mina still chitchatting with her friends and laughing.

She took out her phone and looked it up.

Mina kept her head down and didn't say a word because she knew her mistake very well.

In these moments kai arrived and heard anya's voice filling the corridor between sections.

..no wonder why you and jay are friends.." She said before leaving after kai.

She passed by Jay on her way to the bathroom.

Mina entered the bathroom and drowned in her tears and thoughts.
