Daniel and Mina Walked together to Daniel's house.. both putting their heads down letting that awkward silence sneak between them along the way.

Once they got to the neighborhood,

Two of his neighbors who were chilling in their balcony saw Daniel with a girl

"hey hey!"

"yes darling?"

"look over there!! Daniel brought a girl with him"

"haha! At least we are seeing other than that kai's face"

"he grew up.. if sonia was still alive she'd be so proud of him."

as daniel was unlocking the door

He mistook the lock's hole several times because of his sweaty shaky hands

And after several attempts he finally managed to unlock it.

-daniel: "(phew finally) come in mina! (This feels so odd.. it's like we're here to do..uuuugh

I need to stop thinking about it)"

-mina: "wow clean and smells good as usual"

Daniel blushed and flipped his hair nervously.

-daniel: "I think luna's not coming back any soon.."

-mina: "that's fine, I'm free I can wait for her"

-daniel: "a-ah ..o-kay hh"

-mina: "you okay with that?"

-daniel: "y-yea .. I was just wondering what will your family think of this and if it will worry them"

-mina: "my family is my dad and he is busy all the time, so hanging out with friends and all makes him happy, he says since he can't spend time with me then i should enjoy it on my own"

-daniel: "i see.."

-mina: "yea.. so what should we do while waiting for her?"

-daniel: "i don't know it's 6:30 pm, I usually cook dinner around this time"

-mina: "great! I'll help with that"

-daniel: "you can cook?"

-mina: "not really, when I was younger dad and I used to cook together in Thursdays.. but now he became so distant"

-daniel: "w-well.. you can come with me in thurdays and we'll cook together if you want..

(this is bad..Is it a good or a bad memory for her? God I can't tell anymore.. kai help me)"

Daniel sighed and scratched his cheek softly.

-mina: "r-really??? We can do that?"

-daniel: "(I think it was fine) yea I live alone so that'll be good for me too"

-mina: "yessssss"

Daniel cooked a very delicious meal and taught low-skilled mina some basics.. they had a lot fun cooking together.

And While daniel was washing his hands in the bathroom he heard the doorbell.

-mina: "daniel someone's on the door.. can I see who?"

-daniel: "yea it's okay"

Mina opened the door to find a little boy standing on it holding some plates.

He then handed them over to her and asked

-ethan: "hello sister, where's daniel?"

-mina: "he is coming"

Once ethan saw Daniel coming over he ran to him and hugged him

-ethan: "danieeeeel! my mother sent you these desserts she told me that you're having your girlfriend here and it won't be nice if we don't welcome her"

-daniel: "girlfrie..? She is not my girlfriend, aunt nisa misunderstood.."

Ethan interrupted him after staring at mina innocently for a good moment.

-ethan: "your girlfriend is so pretty big bro"

-daniel: "whatever.." he sighed

-ethan: "also Luna is at ours"

-daniel: "can you bring her over please? Mina's here for her"

-ethan: "okay have fun with your girlfriend"

Daniel said goodbye to ethan and locked the door behind him.

-daniel: "I'm sorry.. they misunderstood.."

mina: "it's okay.. I'll be okay with it even if it was real"

Daniel now started to think that mina has a kink for confusing him. He blushed so hard and looked away While thinking to himself

-daniel: "(huh? Did I hear that right)"

He then asked her directly

"w-what is it?"

-mina: "nothing forget about it"

A few moments later ethan came back with luna.

-daniel: "thank you Ethan, wanna join us?"

-ethan: "I'd like to, but my mom said that Daniel is bad with girls and since you finally got a girlfriend we shouldn't disturb you"

-daniel: "(seems like everyone I know was just born to make my life harder) What do you mean bad with girls..? I have a lot of female friends"

He looked at mina and smiled awkwardly.

-ethan: "stop lying.. also mom says having a lot of female friends is nothing cool, as men we have to be loyal for one girl"

Daniel and mina looked at each other and smiled warmly.

-daniel: "big talk ethan now if you're not joining take your leave please"

Ethan left the doorstep running and repeating as if he was chanting a song

-ethan: "haha big bro is in a hurry, big bro is in a hurry.."

-daniel: "I'm sorry, i don't know what he is talking about"

-mina: "he is so cute.. everyone here is"

She looked at Daniel checking him from head to toe what made him very nervous.

-daniel: "y-yea"

Later on, Daniel served dinner and they sat down together to eat, But mina was too busy playing with luna to touch her food.

-daniel: "mina.. put luna down and eat your food please"

-mina: "she is so CUTE I can't help it

I wanna eat HER UP"

-daniel: "she is not on the menu tonight"

-mina: "hahahha, what about you??"

Hearing what mina said, daniel covered his face with his hands as he was blushing and all tensed up.

(-daniel: "again? What is wrong with her?")

-mina: "hahahhaaha I gave you some hard times.."

She put luna down and started eating after washing her hands.

"ummmmm this is so yummy, You really are good at cooking"

-daniel: "t-thank you.. I'm glad you like it"

-mina: "these desserts aunt.. nisa? Sent are good too"

-daniel: "yea her name's nisa.. you can eat as much as you want and I'll pack the rest for you to eat them later when you get back home"

-mina: "I won't say no!"

After finishing their food daniel got up to clean and do the dishes while mina was playing with luna.

-mina: "how can I help daniel?"

-daniel: "oh no.. there's no need, you're here for Luna so have fun"

#9:45pm#

-mina: "I think it's time to leave"

-daniel: "let me walk you home"

-mina: "we can take luna with us?"

-daniel: "told you she loves streets she never minds, I packed these for you"

He packed the desserts and gave them to her as he promised

-mina: "seriously? You're embarrassing me but

I can't refuse, they're so good"

-daniel: "haha! Don't, they are yours aunt nisa sent them for you"

Daniel Locked the door behind them and they left the house together.

-daniel: "night walks are so peaceful"

-mina: "true.. this light wind makes it so much better"

As they were having this calm conversation, luna jumped from Daniel's arms to mina's head.

-daniel: "hahhaha looks like she loved you, she'd like to see you often now"

-mina: "so cuuuuuuute"

While he was passionately staring at mina he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket, he got it and answered.

-daniel: "yes kai?"

-kai: "where are you?? Why aren't you home? Are you alright?"

-daniel: "yea everything's fine.. I just had to go out, I'll tell you all about it later"

He blushed slightly and scratched the back of his neck hoping that mina wouldn't notice it but she did.

-kai: "this is unusual of you.. anyway, I'm waiting for you I came over to party. I also brought my playstation"

-daniel: "party?? No you're not gonna do that,

I cleaned the house this morning"

Kai hung up on him.

"Huffff he won't listen"

-mina: "you guys are.. amazing, I wish I had such friends"

-daniel: "you're our friend too"

-mina: "you remind me of younger me and jay"

-daniel: "really? You guys aren't this close anymore?"

-mina: "no.."

A few moments later, they got to mina's house.

-Daniel: "wow your house is so big.. it's like a palace"

-mina: "that's what I hate about it the most.. nobody notices your presence nor absence,"

Daniel was pretty amazed by the house's design and architecture, he kept checking it out and its details for a while.

-daniel: "I see.."

-mina: "since my mom died our house became meaningless.. my dad lost his purpose in life and started burying himself in work to keep himself busy.. but he is still trying his best for me"

-daniel: "oh.. I'm sorry"

-mina: "it's okay you're making things feel good again.. thank you for today"

-daniel: "don't mention it.. you filled empty evenings void.."

-mina: "bye luna"

She softly kissed her then gave her to daniel.

"bye daniel.."

-daniel: "bye"

After saying goodbye, Daniel stood up in place for some time until he made sure that mina made It safely inside the house.
