*THIRD PERSON*

(I.R.P.: Listen to "You Say Run (Episode 23 Version)"!)

Tokoyami struggled to get up, he watched as an unconscious Alyx was being crushed by Kuwahara. Sheyenne stumbled to her feet as well.

"A-Alyx..." She mumbled.

"Tokoyami, please! Save my son, do whatever you can!" Darren's voice echoed.

"R-Right... I-I'll do my best!" Tokoyami muttered.

He brought Dark Shadow out and sent her towards Kuwahara. His range could only go so far with Dark Shadow, and he was already pushing it!

"D-Don't worry about the pain... Push through! Remember everything he's done... Not just for you, but for the others and the people of this city! Just a bit further! Push through that pain, and deliver that deciding blow!" Tokoyami thought.

Dark Shadow slammed right into Kuwahara, which sent him flying back, dropping Alyx in the process. Alyx hit the ground and heard his father's voice.

"Alyx! You need to get up, the safety of this town is depending on you! Unleash that hidden power of yours, please!" His father pleaded.

Alyx slowly opened his eyes and stumbled to his feet, "O-Okay... I think I know what I need to do! I won't let you down!"

Leonidus charged up, "HAAAAAA...! AAHHHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

Alyx exploded into Mode Four! Using all of the stamina he had left, Alyx had gone into his full power! He glared at Kuwahara, who smirked at him.

"Oh? This is interesting, I never thought I'd get to see a Leonidus Family member's full power. Do you really think that powering up will stop me? Bah! Don't make me laugh!" Kuwahara scoffed.

"I'm not letting you get your way! You aren't hurting these people anymore!" Alyx shouted.

Kuwahara laughed, "Oh really? And who do you think you are?"

"You must've forgotten already, who am I? I'm the protector of the innocent and those who can't defend themselves from ruthless monsters like you. But most importantly..." Alyx furrowed his eyebrows as his Overdrive aura intensified.

"...I'M MY FATHER'S SON!!!!" Alyx roared.

The ground exploded with his Overdrive aura! A wave of pure Overdrive washed over the land, and Kuwahara couldn't move!

"W-What?! How are you... Why can't I move?! ANSWER ME!!" Kuwahara demanded.

"CARVING STAR...!" Alyx charged up his ultimate move! The beam grew larger and larger!

"BLAAAAAST!!!!" Alyx let the beam loose! It shattered the ground beneath him and rammed right into Kuwahara!

"G-GAH!!! Y-YOU'LL... PAY... F-FOR THIS!!!" Kuwahara shouted as he faded away.

The blast exited the stratosphere and faded out! Alyx stood there with his arms out in front of him, and he fell backwards with a smile on his face.

*LEONIDUS P.O.V.*

"Alyx! What was that?! Are you alright?" Iida asked me on my communicator.

I put my finger up to my ear, "Y-Yeah... Everything's... Okay..."

"A-Alyx... Are you alright?" I heard Sheyenne ask.

"F-For... For the most part..." I responded.

Tokoyami and Sheyenne helped me up to my feet, from what it sounded like, Iida and the others were probably close by. I looked around for Joshua, but I couldn't find him.

"Where's Joshua?" I questioned.

"R-Right... Here!" Joshua exclaimed as he pushed aside a piece of rubble.

"Glad to see you're still in one piece, you're usually stumbling around like a jackass after every battle." Sheyenne laughed.

Joshua rolled his eyes, "Uh huh, whatever you say, at least I didn't get Loki'd!"

"Are you looking to break a few more bones or would you like to restate whatever you just said?" Sheyenne calmly asked.

Tokoyami leaned over and whispered, "I'm assuming these two are always like this?"

I shrugged my shoulders and the two continued to argue. I saw some people start to poke their heads out from their homes and their stores. They all started to congregate over towards us which caused Joshua and Sheyenne to stop arguing.

"Thank goodness he's gone! That neanderthal nearly wrecked my shop!" A woman shouted.

I smiled as the people of Hurlingham gave us their thanks for saving them. We somehow managed to make our way through the crowd and out towards the entrance of town.

"Are you sure you can stand? I don't want you to be hurting yourself, Alyx." Tokoyami questioned.

I attempt to stand on my own, but I just couldn't, my entire body was aching. Tokoyami guided me down the street as we followed Joshua and Sheyenne to the car.

"Alyx!" I heard Iida's voice.

"Ms. Warlock, we've secured them, they're okay!" Iida relayed.

Momo had bandages at the ready and wrapped some around my forehead. She sighed and shook her head.

"They really have to find some way for you to not nearly die all the time." Momo told me.

"I think if we did, things would be a lot better." I replied.

[15 Minutes Later...]

Thanks to Iida, I made it up to my hotel room without collapsing. He even tucked me into my bed which was nice. If this was just day 2 of 14, I didn't even want to get out of bed! Hagakure really was right! God knows what other near-death experience would happen to me within the next two weeks. I stared at my ceiling and sighed. I turned on the T.V. in my room.

"Where in the hell is that channel guide...?" I muttered.

I looked over to the night stand next to me, on it was the channel guide and Hagakure's teddy bear. I guess she forgot to take it with her? I looked through the guide after painfully grabbing it, there wasn't really anything interesting on it, besides some viral video channel. I flipped it over to one of the news channels.

"...It seems as if the new W.H.A. enrollees are putting in fine work this morning. Over in the town of Hurlingham, Heroes in training Leonidus, Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi, Hellish Blade and Hat Trick successfully defended the town late this morning. We've got eye witness testimony and video from the scene." The news anchor said.

It switched over to some guy being interviewed, "There was lightning and thunder, it was like 'BAM BOOM! POW! POP!' It was wild!"

It then switched to a video of me standing in front of Kuwahara, "I'M MY FATHER'S SON!!!" I yelled in the video. The video became shaky and started to cut out at some points. But completely cut out after I used my Carving Star Blast attack.

"You did great, my son." I heard my Father's voice.

I looked over and saw my Dad sitting on my bed.

"T-Thank you, Father." I responded.

"You've still got much to do here, I'm afraid. There's one thing I need you to do, I can't tell you much, but I can tell you this. Within the next couple of days, You need to protect... Plea..." My Father started to fade away.

"What? Protect who? Dad?" I frantically asked.

"Yao..." My Father uttered before he disappeared.

Just as he left, I heard my communicator go off. I picked it up and listened into it.

"We need... Help... Nomu... Too much...! Kensington..." Camie's voice cut out and it went to static.

As much as it hurt to move, I got up out of my bed and stumbled out of my hotel room. The only person that was closest to Kensington was me, I was only about 4 minutes away from them! As I left the hotel, I went into Mode Three and took off towards them. As I made it to Kensington, I saw a High-End Nomu lunge towards Shoto. I slammed into it, taking it into the sky with me!

"Ooo! More prey I can play with!" It cheerfully laughed.

These things can talk?! What the hell?

"Yeah, I'll play with you, have a ball!" I shouted.

I placed a Flash Cannon in its mouth and detonated it! The High-End Nomu disintegrated right before my eyes and I landed back down on the ground. My entire body was screaming in pain at this point, but there were so many of these things!

"This sword'll kill you for sure!" I heard one shriek.

I looked over, Momo was distracted by another Nomu, and one with a sword was charging at her! I mustered the remaining strength I had left and flew towards them! I seemingly appeared in front of the swordsman Nomu and uppercut his head clean off! Momo headbutted the other Nomu to create distance between them before thwacking it with her mallet.

"Alyx, what are you doing here?! You should be resting!" Momo exclaimed.

"Yeah... I-I heard Nomu... And I was the only person close to here." I responded.

Momo and I stood back-to-back as more drew closer to us. Iida, Shoto, and Camie were all dealing with a group of their own!

"So... Smash and Dash?" I asked.

Momo nodded at me, "Smash and Dash, darling!"

I smiled and we switched sides! I charged towards the other group of Nomu, I slid underneath one of them and sliced them in half with an Overdrive Blade! I rolled off the ground as the second Nomu tried to pounce on me, it slammed its face into the ground as I dodged it. A small patch of them dog piled onto me, but I quickly blew them away with a burst attack.

I darted towards Momo, "Heads up!"

I jumped over her and kicked through a High-End Nomu! I shot of a wide array of Overdrive blasts at the other Nomus. One of them managed to grab me from behind.

"Gotcha! Gotcha!" It squeaked.

I bit down on its hand and it screeched, I put my fist through its chest and it exploded!

"Shoto! Hit me with your flames!" I yelled to him.

"Alyx, what?!" Momo shouted.

Shoto nodded and blasted me full force with his flames. Using my Quirk, I kept my body cool enough to prevent myself from sustaining any severe burns. I spun around faster and faster, creating a firenado!

"Fire Style: Spinning Flames!" I shouted.

I'm pretty sure Mr. Rengoku would be proud! I lit up the nearby Nomus and evaporated them thanks to Shoto!

"That's rockin'!" I heard Camie yell.

The flames extinguished as I came to a stop. We dispatched the remaining few Nomus with relative ease, I don't think I've ever felt pain like this before, it went through my entire body! I collapsed to the ground and my entire body felt like it locked up completely.

"Alyx, I understand your concern, but you should have stayed in your hotel room. You're in no condition to be engaging villains." Iida scolded.

"S-Sorry... Iida. I heard Camie on my communicator... S-So I came to help!" I told him.

"And we thank you for that, but you can't be pushing yourself, Alyx. You could very well hurt yourself beyond repair!" Momo added.

[10 Minutes Later...]

Momo brought me back to my hotel room and helped me take my hero costume off so that I could slip into something more comfortable.

"Now, please, stay here and rest. For me?" She cooed.

I nodded at her, "Okay, I'll try."

Momo left the room and I just laid there, staring at my ceiling. I'm not even sure what I wanted to do now! I turned on the T.V. to a random channel, apparently, they broadcasted All Might & Friends here too! Even though it was basically just a bunch of reruns.

"Oh boy... This is fun..." I sarcastically muttered.

I found the remote to the air conditioner and turned it on. Then I turned it back off, aaaand then back on again. I wonder how low of a temperature I could make my air conditioner?

"Seems as if someone's bored." I heard Sheyenne voice.

I looked over at her, "Well, when you can barely move, it tends to happen."

She laughed and sat down in a chair next to me.

"Geez, I never thought you'd improve that much! After everything I've seen today, it's almost as if you losing your memory was somewhat beneficial." Sheyenne laughed.

"Really? What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"You used to be so scared of everything, and I mean everything. But ever since Laura... You've completely changed. It seems as if that's the one part of you that stayed when you lost your memory." Sheyenne told me.

(I.R.P.: Listen to the MHA OST "Hero's Shadow")

"Laura..." I muttered.

I closed my eyes and tried to remember who she was. The only thing I could remember was what came back to me when Tomikoa was fighting Momo. Black-Heart's laughter... Laura's final words... They all came back to me.

"She saved you from Black-Heart, which was where you got that head injury from. It was either that or the both of you would've died. Laura really did love you, there wasn't a time that she didn't talk about you, Alyx." Sheyenne explained.

"That phoenix on your costume, you said it was a tribute to her, since that's what her Quirk was." Sheyenne continued.

The realization hit me and I remembered something else.

[Flashback]

"Laura! Sorry for dropping in, but I'm moving to Japan! I got a recommendation from U.A. High, I'm not really sure why or who recommended me though." I told her.

"U.A.? That's awesome! I've heard so much about it, it's apparently one of the best schools in Japan." Laura replied.

I nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I'm a little worried though. I'm not sure how my Quirk'll stack up to the others."

"Aly, you'll do fine. You've got an amazing Quirk, whatever happens, I'm sure you'll knock it out of the park! Just remember, I'll be there every step of the way, like I always am!" Laura reassured.

[Back to the Present]

I felt tears start to build up, as I remembered her voice, I realized that she really meant what she said. The constant humming lullaby I heard when I was in my Demon Form... That was her. Sheyenne put her hand on my shoulder and gently rubbed it.

"You remembered her, didn't you?" Sheyenne cooed.

I was choked up; I didn't know what to say without crying, so I nodded my head. Sheyenne nodded back to show she understood.

"She's definitely smiling right now, just look at how far you've come! You're one hell of a hero already, Alyx. I'm sure she'd be happy." Sheyenne smiled softly.

I smiled slightly as a tear went down my face, "So, the reason why I wanted to become a Hero, was so that I don't make the same mistake twice. Right?"

"From what I've gathered and from everything you told me, I'd say yes. Another thing, you and that Momo girl are really tight knit. I got around to talking to her today, she definitely reminds me of Laura. All those promises you made to them, you really are something else, Alyx." Sheyenne told me.

She looked over at my night stand and saw Hagakure's pink teddy bear, "Oh? Whose is this?"

"That's Hagakure's, she hung out with me last night. We talked about some stuff." I told her.

"Stuff like...?" Sheyenne questioned.

I crossed my arms and sighed, "You guys can come out now."

Karson and Joshua peered out from behind the T.V. stand.

"If you're really wanting to know, I really don't like to fight. I'm pretty sure you guys already know this, but that's what we talked about. Outside of you guys, Kendo, and now Hagakure, nobody else knows." I continued.

Karson tilted his head, "Well, why don't you just tell everyone else about it? You've known them for what? Two years now?"

"That's the thing," I replied, "Out of all of the things I could be scared about, it's telling them that. I don't know what they'll think of me if I tell them that it's all just a façade."

"Alyx, it's alright to be open about things, man. They aren't gonna judge you just because you don't like fighting, I can tell that they're very understanding people. Maybe not that Bakugo kid, but still!" Joshua reassured me.

I sat there in silence for a bit, I guess they were going to find out eventually. I slowly sat up and got out of my bed.

"Where are you going?" Sheyenne asked.

"I think I should be more open about it, Joshua's right." I responded.

I stumbled a bit since I was still in pain, but I regained my balance. They guided me to where everyone else was at. We got to this dining hall and everyone was eating.

"Oh, Alyx! I was just about to bring you up some food." Deku yelled over to me.

"Thank you, but I need to tell you all something." I nodded.

Everyone quieted down, Class 2-B, Shiketsu, and everyone else waited quietly.

"I've already told Hagakure and Kendo this, so I'm pretty sure they know what I'm going to say." I started off.

"I know I've always seemed excited when I'm fighting villains or even when I'm fighting with some of you guys. But I need to come clean, I... I never really enjoyed fighting, I was always scared of it. I say I enjoy fighting because it's the only way I can tell myself that I'm strong enough to keep going. And those promises I made you guys? There's a reason why I make them as well. It's because... It's..." I continued.

Laura flashed through my mind, her death repeated over and over again in my head. I clenched my fists and felt tears roll down my face.

"I-It's because I never want to make the same mistake twice! I lost someone because I was too scared of fighting, someone that would still be here if I wasn't." I admitted.

For the first time, I heard Monoma say something positive, "Alyx, that's what was bothering you? You could've told us a while ago! You know we're here for you."

I felt a hand touch my shoulder, I turned around and saw Bakugo.

"Amnesia, it's alright to be scared. But you shouldn't let it control you, whatever happened to you in the past, anyone of us in this room would've felt the same way." He told me.

"Yeah, bro! We've all felt the same way at one point, there ain't no shame in coming out about it." Kirishima added.

I wiped my eyes and Hagakure handed me something, "Ice cream?"

I took it from her, "T-Thanks."

"I honestly didn't think that you all would be so understanding." I told them.

"Of course, we would be darling. You've done so much for us! Why would we think differently of you just because you don't like fighting?" Momo said as she hugged me.

Sheyenne looked at me, "See, I said you were overthinking things, but you neeeeever listen to me."

I shook my head, "Good grief..."

[1 Hour Later...]

Since I was already ready for bed, and I didn't have to get up early to do any Hero Work, I decided that I was going to stay up a bit late. Apparently, everyone else had to do a night patrol around the city. I was feeling fine in terms of my body aching, so at least I was recovering. Right before I was going to close my curtains, I saw a huge explosion in the distance! I turned on the news and saw what was going on. That villain, he had a similar marking on his head like Kuwahara!

*THIRD PERSON*

"So, are you ready to kneel?!" Isaac Kuwahara asked.

Bakugo stumbled to his feet, "L-Like hell...! Fuck off!"

Kuwahara laughed at him, "How unfortunate, I was going to pay back my father in a cool way! But I guess this'll have to do!"

Right as he went to kill Bakugo, he was sent backwards. As he approached him again, back he went another time! Isaac turned around; fear riddled his face.

"Are you wondering why you aren't moving?" Alyx's calm voice echoed.

Alyx stood in front of the Kuwahara member, showcasing his full power once more! The area around them glitched and began to turn white.

"W-What... You... You're the one who killed my father!" Isaac roared.

"So, my assumption was correct. It seems as if there are more of you. No matter, I'll lay waste to each of you." Alyx monotoned.

He walked towards Isaac, who charged towards him. In the blink of an eye, Alyx struck!

"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!!!" He shouted.

Seemingly, beyond the speed of light, Alyx's fists pummeled Isaac with pin point precision.

"MUDA!!" Alyx rattled Isaac's jaw with a mighty blow.

Alyx stood in front of the bloody and cowering Kuwahara, "The deeds of sin your family have created will be cleansed. You've caused too much pain for too long; it is now time for you to atone for them!"

"P-Please! You don't understand! This isn't fair!" Isaac pleaded.

"What truly isn't fair," Alyx scowled, "Was the amount of lives the Kuwahara family has taken out of spite."

Alyx held his hand out in front of Isaac, "Now, may your soul never return to this planet."

Alyx fired a devastating blast, incinerating Isaac where he laid.

"It was my father's task to get rid of you, now it's a task that I must complete." Alyx's voice echoed.

As the world returned to normal, Alyx was nowhere to be seen, Bakugo shook his head and blinked.

"What the... Oh for fucks sake!" Bakugo shouted.

He looked down at the pile of ash that had fragments of Overdrive glowing inside, "GODDAMN IT AMNESIA! THAT WAS MY KILL!"
