It wasn't easy, but letting Aqua stay there for longer must've traumatized this goddess even more than Kazuma expected.

It looks like Aqua is having a mental breakdown as she thought her life was over and it's going to be abruptly ended by being digested by frogs.

She is definitely forgetting that she's a goddess, though Kazuma is not sure whether she can die from toad stomach acid but he doesn't have to talk about that right now.

Can gods die? He doesn't read much novels, except for the ones bring his Excalibur and his brain much hard entertainment.

"KAZUMMAAA!!! THAANK YOU!! AHWAAA!!" Aqua loudly cried out to her savior and held him tight, at first it was kind of wholesome despite the scent Aqua is giving out, but now she's going to crush Kazuma's spine and rib cage if she keeps hugging tightly like she's holding onto a rock or something so Kazuma pushed her off and took a deep breath before ranting.

"D-damn! I-I get it! But you almost shattered by vital organs! Seriously how strong are you?? Stronger than that thing I suppose..." He said as he pushes his back with his hand as he stretches.

Aqua was still crying her eyes out, she couldn't think of anything right now but be thankful, and now she's free of what she thought was an endless cycle of being covered in toad slime until her end.

Kazuma looks the slimy Aqua, and somehow it made him a little aroused. Seeing a goddess like this covered in such slimy and wet substance… god damn it, he really has gone too far from normal human function.

"Okay Aqua, stop being a baby and get up. We still have to kill 4 more."

"F-four more…?" Aqua whimpered. She does not like the idea of her being swallowed whole so maybe she'll just sit here and let Kazuma kill them all.

Aqua sighs as she looks at her body.

"My goddess figure is ruined… I was once a beautiful and charming goddess, and now I'm covered with slime! I look like shit!"

"Uh oh, here comes a long one." Kazuma said to himself.

Kazuma with his very keen eyesight has seen a giant one come out of the ground, and it's the same as the one he has killed.

It looks like he has to deal with that big ass one now or else he will cause problems to the city not sooner or later.

-and then my life as a goddess will be in jeopardy! UWAAAA!!" Aqua continued to be a cry baby. Kazuma thought managing Aqua was easy since he knows how the story goes, but having to hear Aqua's cries is getting kind of annoying. No wonder why the original Kazuma wants her mouth shut…

"Look Aqua." He held both of her shoulders which made her look at Kazuma who's definitely not about to lose his patience over the crying Aqua.

"How about we finish this quest tommorow? We already killed one, and it's enough to tell the adventurer's guild that we're on the case."

"W-what??" Aqua lightly pushed him away from her as she looks at Kazuma like a dog begging for food or something. "But our reward! I-"

"We'll finish it and get our reward eventually." Kazuma interrupted. He knew that if Aqua were to keep going, she would get eaten again and more annoying cries of her will Kazuma have to endure, so it's best if Aqua avoids another toad.

"Now Aqua, I have a- A-Aqua..?" Kazuma looks around as he's confused to how she got away from his sight so swfitly but then remembers something from a long term memory and looked behind. "God damn it."
