Zane's expression become sour, he didn't say anything, but he begins glaring coldly toward Mavis.

"... No, thanks" but Zane refuses her.

The twintail girl Kei still grinning like a hyena, as she unwraps the lollipop then slurp it into her mouth.

"Come here then ♡ sit beside me as we watch the clo- I mean the student's performance"

Zane creased his eyebrows, he was damn sure he hears she's going to refers the students as clowns.

The announcement from Mavis were too sudden. Many of the student present didn't or hadn't calibrating their Deck for a sudden promotional exam.

But Zane didn't answer her, and focus on his brother instead.

Syrus' still trembling fearfully, his soon-to-be opponent were sneering at him thinking that he was a loser, and weakling.

Syrus then look at his two Slifer Red friend, "Big Bro? Yuji? What are you-"

"Believe in yourself" say Yuji, "I said before that you should become strong, don't think about losing or whatever, just enjoys, and had faith in yourself.

Beside... it's better to lose after a hard battle than running away without trying"

Sy soon to be opponent getting impatient and angry, "Oi! Just when you're going to start?! Damn Slifer always slow on the br-"

The Obelisk Blue guy starts to take a step back.

"Eh?" Sy then look at his hands, it's true he didn't tremble anymore. Not only his hand but also his whole body.

It's so strange, but also so real. Syrus stop trembling and an unknown hot sensation filled his chest.

Syrus then approaching The Obelisk Blue guy, and activated his Duel Disk.

The Obelisk Blue guy then begins to draw first, "Heh! I don't know what are you three talking about... but here! I summon Goblin Attack Force in attack position, then I use field magic Gaia Power!"

Bunch of goblins using rusty armor and weapons come appears.

Then, the surrounding scenery changed into that of forest with a giant tree appears on Sun's back.

Gaia Power effect: All EARTH monster gains 500 ATK and Lose 400 DEF

"Field spell... Spell cards that gives the entire field an effect as long as they stay on the field" whisper Syrus.

"In just one turn he already summoned a huge attack monster" Syrus surprised.

Sun then grinning, "Heh! This is a real power!! Sadly it's my first turn or you would be a minced meat by now! So, set two cards and my turn is over"

Syrus put his fingers on the tip of his deck, "Draw!"

"From my hand, I summon Submarineroid in attack position"

From the ground, an anthropomorphic Submarine jumps out like a dolphin to Sho side of the field.

Sun's begin giggling, "At this moment, I open my set cards! Final Attack Order and... Coffin Seller!"

Final Attack Order effect: All face-up monsters on the field are changed to Attack Position and their battle positions cannot be changed.

Coffin Seller effect: Each time a monster(s) is sent to your opponent's GY: Inflict 300 damage to your opponent.

Sun begin chuckles viciously, "Kukuku, you're trapped Slifer. No matter what, your punny monster can't beat mine"

Syrus gulped his saliva, but-

"Submarineroid attack!"

"Huh? Seeking death" sneer him

"Submarineroid's effect activated! This card can attack the opponent directly! Go Submarineroid!"

Syrus continue, "After attacking the opponent directly, Submarineroid would change its position to defense, but... because of Finally Attack Order he can't.

Another anthropomorphic Submarine arrive.

"Go forth! Submarineroid, attack him directly!!"

The Submarine rush toward Sun and punch him with its hand, and another one coming slapping him in the face.

"Damn... you... coward" say Sun, as he grits his teeth.

Sy's breath still rough, but it's not because he was afraid, but because he was happy going to win the duel against an Obelisk Blue.

"Draw!!" Sun begin to draw the card, looking at the newly drawn card he can't help but to smile grinning.

Without further ado he put the newly drawn card, "I activate spell Pot of Greed then draw two cards!"

His grins become more and more vicious after he saw the two cards he has just drawn.

Looking at him, Syrus had a very bad feeling, "You trash, take this! Heavy Storm!!"

Syrus eyes wide open hearing the spell, but he quickly waves his hand, "Open the set card! Solemn Judgement! By paying half of my Life Points, I can negate the activation and then destroys the card!"
