Ren Taijue

Sitting on the second floor of the restaurant, a handsome man could be seen facing the street. The balcony had some silk curtain covering his face from the outside but he could clearly see everything that was happening through it.

If one were to see the man, one would think he was staring at some historical drama, as his long hair had been tied and a wooden pin was holding it in place.

The man's eyes looked out through the balcony, straight into the streets where a man was being hung with his legs almost reaching the ground.

Tapping the armrest to the chair he was sitting on, resulting in some tune, and from time to time would taste some tea on the table while chewing something from a small sachet.

It was as though he was watching some kind of play, with patience and the calmness in his eyes did not make the man beside him relaxed at all.

From all directions, there would be people passing by interested and thus they approached to observe the man. Some pointed fingers and others were smiling at this, as it seemed entertaining.

Beside him, another man could be seen standing, with a saber at his waist, his face was not as handsome but it would give other men a run for their money. But the man seemed to be a simple-minded person based on his clear eyes. He spoke,

"His Highness! Isn't too rushed for you to come out with me alone, you could have taken other guards with you from the palace. Even if you did not want to be found out, you should have then gone ahead and invited some shadows to mix in the crowds."

The man being referred to as His Highness is Ren Taijue, the crown prince of Great Zhuo, not the nation in the historical records on Earth, but in a supernatural world.

He was reborn as the second-born son of the king, and the son of the queen, thus obtaining the status of Crown Prince, and this cannot be blamed on the king, as the eldest son of the king is a fool.

Everyone knows it but no one says it out loud, and the man standing behind him is Wudi, his bodyguard. He has been at his side since he was a child, or to say their ages are almost the same.

Listening to what Baixhi said, Ren Taijue turned his head to look at him before asking, "Can they beat you?"

The question seemed like something he was used to, and hearing hit he smiled bitterly before saying, "No!"

Hearing this response, Ren Taijue just shook his head and said, "Then there is no need." And his line of sight also seemed to have gone back to the events on the street.

This question was not the first time he asked it, but every time he brought it up Wudi did not understand what he was implying. So he could only give up, but it was customary for the royals to move with large escorts or the norm, but he did not bother with all this.

In some cases, he would leave an empty carriage and go to the destination alone, just as a way to not lose face, but he did not care anyway.

In the kingdom, even though it is known that the crown prince is interested in collecting weird things and lacks ambition for the throne, one thing is for sure. He is someone very ruthless and even the ministers have to behave in court once a minister embarrassed his father, it is said that his fate did not end well.

Even corrupt officials are not killed, it is said, that the crown prince will confiscate everything they own, and recycle them, in other areas, to squeeze more value out of them.

The biggest devil in the kingdom, and at the moment, that devil was sitting in the restaurant, that seemed to be part of his underground surveillance network.

Lin Clan

Moon Star Pavillion, located in the depths of the Kukan Mountains, this time, a man walked up the stairs towards the peak of the cold mountain, slowly.

With him was a wooden box, that seemed heavy, and even though he was panting, he did not falter in the slightest but rather followed behind some woman dressed in red.

The sound of footsteps could be heard stepping on the snow with every step they took until they arrived in front of a huge building, standing in the mountains.

The woman took the box from the man and struggled to drag it by herself as she approached the building. The door opened on its own like some kind of mechanism was at play, and this resulted in the woman passing through without any issues.

In a dark hall, the woman bowed and spoke when she realized that the door behind her had closed.

"I need to order red tea!" She said in a slightly vengeful voice.

"Ooh! You know the rules?" When the questioning tone came out she was excited deep down.

"Yes! This box with me has the deposit and if the red tea pours before the end of the month, then a thirty percent will be added to the compensation." She responded hastily afraid the voice would change its mind.

"Who?" The voice asked again.

"Ren Taijue! Great Zhuo crown prince!" She said these words one by one obviously the woman had some hatred for the Taijue.

The voice then went silent for a moment.

In the other room, a group of six was sitting all of them wearing masks, and when the information was presented before them, they started a discussion.

"This is the third request to have this crown prince of Great Zhuo assassinated, it seems that this little fellow has one a few enemies." One of the masked men joked and the others also added in before the man with a black musk and white stripes on them coughed causing them to become silent.

He was sitting at the head sit, and different from the six, he seemed to be the one in charge of the room.

"Our Moon Star Pavilion has been silent for a long time, this target we should use as a way to spread our reputation so that even the royal family of the Great Zhuo can take them out." The man spoke in a hoarse voice but all the members seemed to bow to him.

Beside a stream, one could see dead bodies and a woman with two daggers standing among them. With a wave of the daggers, the blood from them slid off, before she rotated them on her fingers and had them back in their sheath.

"This task was not easy, It seems that the Wandu Tower should compensate me more for this mission." The woman was Lin Ruo, a freelance martial artist that had just taken over a task on the Wandu Tower to deal with some bandit.

Taking some paper from her sleeve she made a strange sound attesting a dove, then rolled the tiny paper, putting it into the little stick attached to the dove, with a hole in the middle.

Watching the dive fly away, she turned her sight towards the ground.

Pulling her slender sword she cut off a few heads and dealt with the bodies, before packing the heads before using some movement skills, to step on the water's surface and reach a raft.
