A Frightful Passing
When the clock struck midnight, there was a continuous ringing of church bells almost all over Paris. This indicated that a new day had finally arrived.
From those that had plans, well, voila. And for those that were going on vacations though the world seemed to be more insecure lately, those were our heroes.
Heading out even though you knew that it might be your last time to set foot inside your apartment. That maybe you'll be seeing your loved ones for the last time.
But who were we to be so worried about tomorrow?
We were humans, after all, and if there was money in someone's life. Then even if they were unhappy with certain things, it would be much easier for them to change anything using cash.
How wonderful was that!
