When they arrived home, Lien grabbed on to her injured cousin, "what happened?" her brother asked,

"The Yunmeng clan happened" she responded as Yu laid down on the couch and the girl grabbed some herbs for his back.

While applying the herbs, tears ran down the girl cheek upon seeing her cousin in this state.

"They are abusing their power brother" she said,

Her brother sighed "i know sis but there is nothing that we can do about it, if we make a move the other clans will be in danger too and we have to think about that" he replied,

"I know i just wish if the demon kings could kill all of those royals in the Yunmeng clan" she said,

"Lien don not say that, the demon kings are not an option they are cruel and probably more dangerous than the Yunmeng clan" he shouted,

"I don't care, look at the amount of people that are going through misery because of them" she said,

Her brother eyes glowed "not another word about this" he replied as he was about to slap her but Wang grabbed on to his hand,

"She is just angry, you are going to make a mistake if you hit her" her said as the girl walked away.

He sighed "i should have known she would think like that" he said,

Wang smiled "seems like she hates the Yunmeng clan, tell me why?" he asked,

"That's a long story that i think you should ask her, i do not have the right to say anything" he responded,

"Okay i will ask her" he said as he walked away towards her room.

As for Yu, her brother took care of him.

Wang went to her room, knocked on the door "can i come in?" he asked,

She then opened the door and let him in "it's late Wang, go get your dinner and go to bed" she said,

He smiled "my lady can i ask you something?" he asked,

She looked at him and smiled "sure go ahead" she responded,

"Why do you hate the Yunmeng clan?" he asked,

She frowned "i will tell you my life history another day, is there anything else?" she asked,

"Nope nothing else, come along for dinner" he said,

"I am not hungry" she replied,

"I get that you are angry, but it doesn't mean you have to starve yourself. It's clearly not the solution to the problem at hand" he said,

The girl then sat down on a couch "what do you know about the demon kings?" she asked,

His eyes widened and he smiled "a lot of things" he responded as he sat on the floor.

"Which one of the demon king do you fancy?" he asked,

"Oh i kind of like the one that has all of their powers, i believe he is different" she said,

He smiled "Wei is his name, he was known for a massacre, it was said that he wiped out an entire clan which was not really known by people, i mean there must be a line between gods, humans and cultivators" he replied,

"They didn't actually had proof that he did so that does not count" she said,

"It was said that he died and he is a ghost now" he replied,

"Are you sure about him being dead?" she asked,

"Yes i am now he is just a ghost king, why are you so hung up on him?" he asked,

"Not hung up i just believe that he is not as bad as everyone says he is" she responded,

He smiled "never have so much faith in someone not even Wei, trust me it can be a good thing but most time it's bad, come on lets go join your brother for dinner" he said,

"How do you know so much about the demon kings?" she asked,

He laughed "i did my research" he said as she got up and they went to the dining hall together.

There she sat down near Wang "nite sis" her brother said,

"Good night" she replied,

Her brother sighed " i am sorry for earlier, it's just believing in the ghost kings is just not right, we are sure that all of them are killers" he said,

"Not all of them but you are right and i am sorry too" she replied,

"It's okay sis" he said,

"How's Yu?" she asked,

"He will be fine in a few days" he responded,

"Okay" she said,

"By the way Wang you are one brave guy, no one in their right mind would have done what you did" her brother said,

"I just cannot see people being punished for something like that especially when they had a good reason" he replied,

"That's good even though we might have a visit from the Yunmeng clan soon i am truly happy about what you did, you showed those bastards their place" he said.

As they began eating, the girl got a few more glimpses about those same dead bodies, her hands started to tremble and Wang saw, he then held on to her and she looked at him as the glimpses stopped.

"You okay?" he asked,

"Yes.. i am fine, uh i am full i will go to bed" she said as she got up and walked away.

"Is everything okay with Lien?" her brother asked,

"I think so, why?" Wang asked,

"She has been acting strange lately, i am just worried that Lien might get out of control when the Yunmeng clan is concerned" he said,

"Don't worry i will be with her all the time, no matter where she goes she cannot hide form me, i will always find her" Wang replied,

Her brother laughed.

"You are a weird fellow, good night" he said then left.

"Weird i am but i am also something else that can be pretty deadly to everyone in the clans, i will fulfill the purpose i came here for no matter what" he said to himself as his eyes glowed gold and a tattoo appeared on his left side of his face.

He then got up and went to the girl room after she finished taking a bath and got dressed, "can i come in?" he asked,

She smiled "come on in" she responded as he entered.

Seeing how beautiful she looked in her night gown the boy left staring "you look beautiful" he said,

She smiled "thank you".

The girl wore a blue, long night gown with laces and it fell on her body well and her beautiful long hair was down and floating with the wind.

"Can you not stare at me like that?" she asked,

'Oh sorry, uh.. can i sleep in your room tonight?" he asked,

Her eyes widened and she looked at him "why?" she asked,

"Please don't ask me that, just know it's for your own protection, i promise i will keep to my end" he said,

She sighed "even if i say no you won't leave so sleep on the couch and stay there" she replied.

The boy then laughed and went on the couch as she went on her bed.

A little while after both of them slept away and while she was sleeping the girl felt a darkness in her room.
