4 Chang Meng

She looked at him and her eyes glowed blue, he smiled "stay behind me, my lady" he said as the sword in his hand glowed red as he killed each zombie that tried to take her.

After killing the zombies the girl fainted and he caught her, the guy then lifted her up in his arms and took her home, there her brother treated her.

"It seems as if these attacks are taking quite a toll on her, one thing is for sure it did something to her" he said,

"Will she be okay?" Wang asked,

'Yes she will be fine thanks to you" he said,

"It's no big deal so kind of rescued me too, so it's the least i could do" he replied,

"Don't be so modest can you do me a favor?' he asked,

"Sure" he responded,

"Why would you just accept without knowing what it is?" he asked,

'I know it's not bad and probably in the best interest of your sister" he responded,

"You are right can you train her?" he asked,

"Sure, i guess you are asking because you noticed she cannot balance using her powers with the sword?" he asked,

"Yes, she needs to be careful until i figure out who is after her" he said,

"Okay how about i become her bodyguard?" he asked,

"Well sure but i will pay you since you do not have a job" her brother replied,

The boy laughed "yeah, okay" he said,

"Well i have some meeting to attend to concerning these zombies attacks, see you guys later" her brother replied then left.

The boy went into Lien's room, sat down on her room and looked at her while she was fast asleep as his eyes glowed gold.

A little while after the girl woke up only to find him staring at her, she flung up "what are you doing in my room?" she asked,

"Why do you hate me?" he asked,

She smiled gently "i do not hate you Wang, it's just i cannot come to trust you as yet" she said,

"Understood and i am your new bodyguard assigned by your brother" he replied,

She sighed "whatever".

"Thanks for helping me back there" she said with a frown,

He looked at her and smiled wickedly "what's wrong?" he asked,

"I am just worried what if they go after my brother next" she said,

He then got up and sat in the bed with her "don't worry, your brother is strong he can take care of himself" he replied,

She sighed and got off of the bed "i have training to get to" she said,

"I am coming with you since i have to help with that too" he replied,

She smiled "okay do what you want".

A little while after the girl went to the arena where all the different clans students were also training.

There he met with his friends and she met with a few of hers, " i see you are with the cutie again" Ai said,

The girl looked at her sternly and she stayed quite. As they began training, a few people form the Yunmeng clan came with a prisoner.

The Yunmeng clan leader son, Chang Meng was among them, while walking up the stairs he looked at Lien and smiled wickedly "how are you Lien?" he asked,

"I am fine thanks, how are you?" she asked,

"I am great just here to give someone punishment and then we are going on a hunt" he responded then sat down on a royal chair.

"What's this about?" a boy from the Leng clan asked,

"You have no right to question me so shut up" he said,

"He just asked a simple question and we do deserve to know" Wang said,

"Oh the new guy and which clan are you from?, who are you to ask me questions?" Chang asked as his guard grabbed a whip and was going to hit the boy but Lien grabbed on to the whip and stopped him.

All of the other students left staring as she pulled the whip out of his hand and hit the floor "touch him and you will have a problem, sire you asked which clan he is from, well he is from the Jin clan and i will not tolerate anyone trying to hit an innocent" Lien said,

"Protecting an outsider well this is getting interesting, my lady Lien why do you trust him?" he asked,

"Because he saved my life more than i can count and i would appreciate it if you do not call him an outsider" she responded,

The guy smiled wickedly "as you wish lady Lien" he said,

'Anyways time to reveal our palace intruder and determine his punishment" he said,

"The girl sighed and closed her eyes when he pulled the bag off of the intruder everyone gasped and when she opened her eyes she saw it was her cousin Yu Jin, her eyes widened as he smiled at her.

"Yu.. what's going on?" she asked,

"He invaded our palace without permission and that we of the Yunmeng clan will not tolerate that" he said,

"Did you ask him the reason why he did that?" Mo asked,

"We don't have to either way he entered without our permission" he responded,

The girl folded her cuffs in anger as they hit her cousin in front of her, a minute later the earth started to rumble "let him go this instant" Wang shouted,

"Let him go now.." Chang said as he looked at Lien and as they released her cousin she calmed down.

"Lady Lien" he said,

"I am sorry for my behavior sire but he only invaded because he was following a trail of the zombies attack which led to your palace" she replied as Wang walked up the stair, grabbed her cousin and raised him up then helped him to his cousin.

"Thank you for everything you have done for her so far" he said,

He smiled "you are welcome".

Both of them then went back with the others "it's getting dark if you have any other problem take it up with her brother but we are going home now" Wang said as he grabbed Lien's hand and teleported themselves home.
