"We seem to have a great batch of students this year my friend"
A bearded man stroked his long beard softly as his crinkly mouth tilted upwards and spoke to the other wrinkly old woman besides him.
"Bah! That's just in terms of talent, they have no control over the basics"
Waving her hand irritably, the old woman stared at the windows to another reality and sifted through them, watching the children in them fight off wolves.
Eyeing the newcomers in amiability the man stopped stroking his beard for a moment as something caught his eye before continuing.
"But you must admit, the talents we have seen aren't small and those talents aren't small either"
Eyeing someone that was already past the wolves and was now on the iron bristles boar, the old man continued to rub his silver haired beard and sifted through the windows once more.
Smiling slightly wider the woman besides him noticed and frowned.
"What got you so happy you old coot? I'm already angry that they dragged me from my research"
"Do you see the Extreme potential section?"
Looking at the supervisors who were in charge of that area and seeing three different areas her frown deepened.
"So what? All they have is raw power, in front of a true master it will be nothing, although three good seedlings are good I don't get your point old man"
"Well I wouldn't be so quick to judge" Walking forwards and looking through the window a wide smile made it's way to his face.
"A few of them are rather... unique"
Seeing the smile the old woman shook her head and used her cane to aid her walk forwards and looked through the window.
Eyes widening slightly she glanced at the other portals and reluctantly spoke.
"It seems that you were not kidding old man"
Looking through the window, within the window a young teenage girl was spinning the spear in her hands and was tearing through a rather large bear.

'Should I use the Oceanic Sky Piercer's second form?'
Currently, Ellora was using the first form of the Oceanic Sky Piercer, the Ocean Walker.
It was a simple style to her but definitely wasn't to many others, but the style was simple because it focused on a few things.
Fast movements, quick attacks and light blows focused on the enemies weak points that would either cripple them or outright kill them.
A style to kill swath's of weaker enemies in quick motions.
But exactly because it was meant to face against swaths of weaker enemies it had little burden in her body as it mostly used physical strength instead of fantastical energies.
Which was exactly what the second form used.
After decapitating a large brown bear and making it disappear in a flurry of bright sparks.
The sparks being much more beautiful than the corpse it was dissipating it would suggest.
Spinning her spear with her right hand, Ellora turned her head to look at the darkness that suddenly descended and revealed a being within it.
Raising an eyebrow, she looked at the creature.
Revealed from within the dark pillar that descended from the skies was a humanoid creature.
Not like the bear that stood on it's hind paws earlier for a show of intimidation, but a creature that was born humanoid in the first place.
Like a mixture of a wolf and a human the grey furred being looked around with yellow eyes before it locked onto the only other being in the place.
Ellora.
Hunching over as their fur stood on it's ends they splayed their paws and caused claws to extend from what might've been their paws or hands.
A snarl made it's way to the bestial face as the yellow orbs had a glint of madness dance between the pupils.
Crouching downwards, the double jointed legs tensed the muscles before launching forwards like a spring.
Seeing this all happen in mere moments, Ellora didn't just stand and watch without doing anything.
In fact she was doing the exact opposite.
'A lycanthrope hm?'
Circulating the mana in her body in set motions, Ellora crouched downwards and prepared the spear.
Feeling the hidden power in her body rising but not being a direct increase of strength, the mana didn't move to reinforce the muscles in her body.
Not yet at least.
'Oceanic Sky Piercer, 2nd Form'
Pointing the sharp end of the spear in the general direction of the monsters she steadied her two feet against the ground.
Looking at the Lycanthrope that acted like a spring that had been released, the sharp armaments of the beast quickly narrowed the distance between her.
Holding the very end of the spear with her right hand, the left hand of hers aimed it at the monster near twice her own size.
Unmoving as the monster continued to charge forwards and neared her unmoving body, the supervisors couldn't help but feel confused.
Not that Ellora knew, and if she did she probably wouldn't care.
It wasn't only until the Lycanthrope was right on top of her did she finally react and burst into a flurry of action.
'Cloud Rider'
As the Lycanthrope was right on top of her, Ellora finally burst into action and reinforced her body with mana instantaneously.
Like an explosion had been set off her body turned into a flurry of movement.
Letting her left guide the spear forwards, her feet twisted against the ground and pushed.
Her body rotated simultaneously to guide the force from her legs to her right arm which twisted to guide the force to her hands.
'Cloud's Lance!'
The spear in her hands was launched forwards and crashed into the Lycanthrope in the throat with devastating force.
Powered by mana, complete control of her body and a devastating martial style, the Lycanthrope could do nothing but be helpless in front of the Second styles accompanying skill.
'As expected is it to much?'
Pulling her spear back as the surging mana that seemed to burst out of her body in a very eye catching fashion suddenly receded away like a phantom.
The headless lycanthrope that was mid lunge collapsed like a doll that had lost it's strings.
Turning to look at her trembling hand she thought.
Although she was talking about how it was to much she was talking about two things.
It was to early to use the Second form as she hadn't fine tuned the mana to her body yet, and it was also to early to use it against the monsters.
The fact that the lycanthrope couldn't resist the second form's skill for even a second was proof of the fact.
That and the fact that a subtle pain coursed through her body like an itch that couldn't be erased.
Ignoring the subtle numbness that coursed through her limbs, she held the spear diagonally across her chest as the same screen that appeared at the end of the monsters appeared.
[Would you like to continue or give...]
"Yes"
Rolling her eyes at the statement, Ellora thought about abstaining from using her mana to make her body exert a higher strength than usual and would use it for it's actual use.
Magic
The black pillar that descended from the ceiling after a five second gap soon receded and was instantly met with a stunning image in front of it.
'Goblins? Ten of them at that'
A small bipedal creature with green skin the size of the average child covered in furs held various tools in their small hands.
Brandishing the knives, wooden shield, and slings they were stunned into silence.
Looking up, the green skinned, large nosed, sharp eared child sized goblins were instantly met with a barrage of magic.
[Spark]
[Water Spear]
[Air Current]
A large spear made of water hung in the air as if suspended by strings, surrounded by visible air currents that had manifested due to magic.
Small arcs of lightning traveled across the body of the spear, the suspended spear hanging above her shoulder.
[Combination Magic: Spark Spear Launcher]
"Good bye goblins"
At those words the magic casted by Ellora instantly flew through the air in a parabola and collided against the goblins who were to stunned to make a move.
BANG!
