Ch 8 Fast foward a few Months
A young boy sat up from his bed and yawned. "Good morning world!"
For the last few months Gold was put into the same situations over and over again. He fought a few different types of monster but nothing special. Over the last 6 months he made is way up to the half way mark. While being sent to the start of the mountain every day, as he hained more and more experience on the mountain, he learned every nook and cranny. From trap to shortcut he knew them all. And with his strength improving he had no problems killing any monster along the way.
The strength of Gold and his attributes increased by huge amounts. He had the physical strength of a B ranked Adventurer.

Gold had gone up by quite a lot of levels, and although he has a level with low stats to match the level the reason his stats are lower is because he has not used any stat points and has the capability to level forever.
"Damn my level is so low for how long I grinded. I really should have thought sbout my skills. Definitely should have picked some sort of exp booster.
Well it's whatever. I've finally reached rank 50 its time to see what theae extra stats are!"
Gold clicked on the status window and opened his own status. He moved his finger and clicked "extra stats". He clicked the "unlock" button and Information started being displayed infront of him.
The prompt cleared up and said, "Congratulations you have unlocked hidden stats."
"Huh?"
Gold read the information on the screen.
Hidden Stats
Hidden stats are stats whic are not affecred by any out outside source. There are 4 stats in which you could put in. 1 star point quals 1 point of hidden stat point. Only 2 of the 4 hidden stats can be choosen to be upgraded. All hidden stats will only apply now and past stats and things that can or will be affected by the hidden stats will not be affected.
The 4 hidden stats include:
Luck
Potential
Comprehension
Affinities
Luck:
Luck is pretty self explanatory. Luck boosted good drops and other random occurrences that is beneficial. Chances to reduce damage and other similar things.
Potential:
Potential is the amount of points you earn per level.( 1 point increase per 10 points and only takes affect after the 10 points have been inputted.) (Only gaines the boosted stat points now, the past levels and stats do not get boosted)
Comprehension
Conprehension boosted the rate you learn abilities. Increases by 10%, for every 10 points inputted. (Takes affect every 10 points)
Affinities
Affinities include the things like katana mastery and etc.
All affinities will be boosted by 1% per point.(Takes affect per point.)
Gold read the hidden stats and thier details and knew he could only choose 2 of the 4.
"Hm, I think I can rule out comprehension. With the status window it'll give me a description that'll give me a boost in learning it. Hopefully...
In my last life I was pretty unlucky, it was pretty tragic. I mean I was literally truck-kuned out of existence. So I'll choose that I guess.
Now to choose the last one. Affinities or Potential."
He looked at them both and thought of the pros and cons of either choice and finally decided on which to choose.
"It's decided Potential it is. As good as affinities may be it's also pretty much a stat point void. While I may have a shit ton of stat points right now it's gonna be hard grinding for level from here on out. Potential will reward my level ups more than Affinities."
You have selected Potential and Luck. Confirm? Gold clicked the little prompt and his body glowed with a light golden aura. He immediately put his points into Potential and Luck. He put 50 points into Potential and 200 into luck.
"I've seen enough anime and mangas to scientifically prove that Luck wins battles."
Gold now gained 6 points in all stats per level. And had a huge amount of points into luck.

Gold got up off the bed and headed outside. He walked out onto the small training area. He wasn't the onlg one who had inproved in strength. While not as much as Gold, Kurumi had improved by alot.

Kurumi had a 5 level improvement and was inches away from reaching Rank SS. While a 5 level improvement may not seem huge she is not Gold and is at an extremely high level. To improve by that much a huge amount of effort needed to be put in.
"Goldie, good morning!"
Kurumi walked up to Gold and ruffled his hair.
"You slept in again. You shouldn't get in a habit of doing that."
"Yeah, yeah. Where is master? I need her to take me to the bottom of the mountain.
Gold wanted to headback to the forest and make some progress. He felt like going back and killing some monsters. It may have been the Power Leveling Title but Gold always felt tlike hunting monsters for exp.
"Master said to meet with you after you wake up and go to her inside her room with you."
"Alrighty let's go then."
They both walked into the hallway, in the 6 months they stayed at the shack they had never once entered her room.
They knocked on the door and hear Isabella, "Come in."
They walked in and looked around the room. It was dim and the room had an ominous aura. The room was much more simple than they thought. The room had almost nothing, there was a bed and dresser. However, on the dresser was a katana. The katana was radiating an ominous energy. It felt has if it would devour anything in it's way. It made Gold's palms sweat and made him nervous.
"Master, you called for us?"
Sitting on the bed she looked at them and smiled.
"Both of you have stayed here for 6 months. It's been quite an experience. It feels as if you were my own children.
However in this time both of you have grown by miles. Kurumi your strength has inproved to the point that you are almost of equal strength as me. And Gold, you started off as a weak child with almost 0 strength. Now you have grown to the rank of B.
Although both you have grown alot, there is always room to improve. Do not get cocky. Gold you need to start practicing katana techniques and assassination arts.
Kurumi while you have developed the ability to control the strength of your attacks. You need to create a sure-kill move. A move which uses all your strength to kill the enemy before you. Gold meet me outside, Kurumi stay here and I will address you after Gold."
Gold walked outside and waited 10 minutes before Isabella walked out. They stood face to face and she handed him a wooden katana.
"I will hand you a manual on how to practice assassination arts. I will not teach you. I will show you and give a manual for the Katana technique I use. However after today you and Kurumi will leave the mountain and explore the world. Kurumi will not fight any battles except the ones you cannot handle. These battles will serve as your training."
Gold was shocked at Isabella's words. He was not expecting her to make them leave. He knew they must part ways but not this soon.
"Do you not want us anymore master?"
Gold used his baby like lying to trigger Isabella's weakness. She teared up and patted his head.
"I will never get rid of you. You are one of my children. If it was my choice I would live like this forever. However, there is a limit to what you can learn without experience. Besides, my enemies have come close to finding the area. I want you guys to leave before my just incase."
Gold was shocked as he knew this area was in the middle of nowhere. They had never left the mountain and talked to anyone else. The ways of the Medicine Valley were too mysterious. Gold shook his head in understanding and focused on his lesson.
"This style is called, death lotus. Ideally you want to be able to create your own style but, you must start somewhere. This technique is of my own creation and what lead me to be called a legendary katana user.
"Now let's begin."
