247. War - Another stab in the back

The energy that usually connected Black to Wyatt, disappeared. One second he felt it and the next one, nothing happened when he tried to connect with the wizard. A frown appeared between his eyebrows as he guessed what it could mean. The wizard had likely been killed by the pack and it was something Black hadn't expected at all.

Since the final elements for his spell were coming his way, he had planned to welcome them as best as he could. Wyatt was part of that plan and losing him like this at the last minute didn't make any sense.

Indeed, after he joined his side, the wizard's powers had increased significantly. Defeating him wasn't something anyone could do. Black brushed off the confusion he was feeling with a shake of his head and Light's voice finally brought him back to their preparations.
