WHY US? part 1

Nashik Cambridge School, a place filled with happiness and joy. The school starts with happiness and even ends with it. But,nothing is permanent in this world, not even happiness. There is always an incident which changes our lives. But this incident, gave turned around the life of every single person living in Nashik and every student of Nashik Cambridge School. Who would have ever imagined that a school which was filled with voices of students talking, teacher's teaching till yesterday, will become a land of dead silence with dead bodies of several. Little happy kids who were roaming in classes till yesterday, have become the worst version of human, running around biting their own friends! There is this thing called 'HOPE' which is not permanent, but lasts long. Will this hope that the students hold on to, help them survive and protect themselves at any cost and in any situation? what has exactly happened? lets discover....

Ridhima: Everyone has turned (into zombies).Everything is messed up right now!.I never imagined anything like this could happen ever.

Aditya:  Nor did I.I have no hopes left.I don't think we will survive this catastrophe.

Aryann: You have no hopes? Why are u saying this? We will surely survive ! we have to stay alive for ourselves

Ridhima:But how! We are not even adults.how will we teenagers save ourselves?!

Aryann:There is a  saying-"courage needs no age and comes after we let go all our fears"

it does'nt matter that we are teenagers.if we have courage and a strong will to survive in our hearts,we will surely survive.we have to stay alive.We are the only hope for ourselves now.

Vaidehi: He is right.we are the only ones who can help ourselves to escape from here.guys,we can do It!

Ridhima: I agree!

Aditya: I agree too

Like every other day, Nashik Cambridge school had started off a new day. All students had gathered in the school and had taken seats in their respective classes. All the students were happily talking with each other till the teacher comes for her lecture. It was the 5th lecture in class 10thA. Everyone was studying. But here's where things start to go downhill. Suddenly, a girl's nose starts to bleed. It was Rucha, Srushti's friend. She immediately got up and asked if she could go to the infirmary. No one was shocked as nose bleed is a common thing many people experience in summers.Rucha rushed to the infirmary. The doctor gave her a pill and she returned back to normal after taking it….it was nearly the break now. Strangely, her nose again started to bleed. This time the blood was more intense in amount. Her nose and her lips filled were covered in blood. She was scared for life so she again ran to the infirmary. It was the break. So obviously many students saw her running across with blood on her face.

Nandita: OMG! Why does she have blood on her nose?that's  soo creepy!do u have idea?Gayatri

Gayatri:how would I know that?we are in the same class but she did'nt told anything to any of us!

Nandita: Oh! I see.

Samiksha:shall we go to visit the infirmary?to see what exactly has happened to her?

Gayatri:no!You know teacher will punish us if we do so.

Samiksha:umm ya,that too.leave it.

Nandita :yeah.

Rucha cried infront of the doctor as she was really worried about her nose bleed.Doctor tells her to calm down and again gives her a pill and says her to call her parents so they can take her home.she takes the pill and tries to relax herself.She didn't knew what to do

doctor:I'll go downstairs to call your parents.Till then,stay here and don't move.

Rucha : okay,fine

The doctor goes downstairs to call her parents.Rucha was lying on the bed,scared real bad.Her nose was still bleeding.She suddenly felt as if her mouth is also bleeding! Horrified and confused by the situation,she goes infront of the mirror to check why her mouth is too bleeding.

she stares at herself.

There were talks going on about Rucha in the class.Everyone was shocked by the incident

Atharva:I thought its due to heat.but damn,the mouth bleed! God its insane

Viven: yeah.I am still wondering about it . I mean,she wasn't even hurt in the mouth.Then why was it bleeding?I am kind of scared.

Tanishka: why are you guys scared? Something must had happened to her. that is why her mouth was bleeding. I'm pretty sure it isn't that big of a deal

Tanvi: yeah. you know, I saw the doctor going to the reception. He must be calling her parents to take her home..

Viven: Ya I guess so. But guys, look at Srushti. It seems as if she is on the verge of crying!

Tanishka:yeah, I can see it. She's really worried. Afterall, Rucha is her really close friend.

Tanvi:oh yeah,poor girl!

Viven: I guess we should rather comfort her than talking here.

Tanishka : yes ,let's go

The doctor had called Rucha's parents and they said they would be arrive in 30 minutes. He started heading towards the infirmary. Just as he opened the door, he couldn't believe his eyes at the sight he saw. Rucha was lying down on the floor, in a really peculiar manner. The floor was stained in red colour where she fell. He ran straight towards her, landed beside her and shook her loudly shouting "wake up Rucha!! Wake up!"

All of a sudden,Rucha started squirming on the ground and got up, very weirdly and scarily. The doctor could hear her bones crack. He was frightened very badly. He stood there like a stone, not being able to move because of the terrifying scene in front of him. Rucha turned herself and faced the doctor. Her eyes were bloodshot. Her face entirely in deep red colour.She was looking really terrifying.Rucha was completely turned into a zombie!The moment she saw the doctor,she ran towards him and bit him on his neck,ripping off his skin!!!!Those loud cries of the doctor,filled with fear.He fell on the ground.the doctor also started to squirm on the ground and got up in the same scary manner.He had also turned into a zombie.

Here, the students were having lunch.A few were  were roaming around with their friends.some students were curious about what happened to Rucha,they were worried.so to check up on her,they went to the infirmary.

Out of no where ,they saw Rucha attacking the doctor. They were feared by the scene so badly that everyone rushed and hid behind a table nearby as soon as they could.they saw the doctor acting weird,just like Rucha.One of the student screamed loudly,like really loudly. Hearing the scream,the doctor and the Rucha who were turned into those nasty zombies,ran towards the students.The students,completely petrified,and started running and screaming as the zombies chased them. But,the few student's fate wasn't able to save them.both the zombies grabbed some students from the group and mercilessly attacked and bit them.Seeing their friends turning into zombies infront of their eyes,the student's eyes watered as they felt like they lost them.Their friends who they made million memories with.With whom they laughes and cried.With their hert heavy with greif,they couldn't even run and stood fear-stricken on the spot. And it was obvious, they got bit by everyone who turned into zombies. They all started running the 3rd floor.

the lunch break was almost done.A student had a work so she went along with her friend.As they were walking,They heard some weird and peculiar screams and noises coming .They stepped ahead to see what happened and theysaw the zombies running towards them!.Shocked and scared,The girls started to scream and ran to save themselves.All the teachers and the students were out of the class after hearing the screams.The teacher and the students,all were terrified to see the zombies running towards them.They all started running.The zombies were grabbing and biting every person which they see in their way.Some students tried to kill the zombies and to protect themselves,but were ended up bitten.there was a big mess on the 3rd floor.

here,on the 2nd floor ,there was no sign of any zombie yet,but,the students of class 10th B were surprised to hear screams from the upper floor as their class was near the stairs which led to the 3rd floor .They urged the teacher to check what's going on.some students of other classes were too hearing them so they too told their teachers.A teacher was going upstairs to check,and all of a sudden, a zombie fell down from the gap of the stairs and landed on the ground floor.He still got up and ran.the teacher was very terrified.As she saw up,the zombies were coming running towards her.She fell down in fear and the zombies bit her.All the students saw this and started running out of the class .The zombies ran behind the students.They were biting the students mercilessly.

There was a big mayhem in the school now.The zombie students were increasing.The students got separated from their classmates.several students were running away to save theselves and some were hiding.Parth and Vedant were hiding behind a big table.They were more frustrated by this as they were seniors and had exams in somedays.

Vedant: Shouldn't we hide somewhere else?this place ain't looking so safe to me.

Parth:quiet!those zombies will hear us and will come running again towards us.Hide with me here until there are no zombies nearby so we can run somewhere else.

Vedant:oh yes!well,don't u think we should throw this bech on them and run? What if they increase?it will be impossible to escape

Parth:oh,you have a point but I don't think it will work.Idon't want to die so soon!

Vedant:that too is right honestly,ah I don't know what to do now

Parth:for now,keep quiet.

Some zombies still came running towards those 2 boys.They had no option left than throwing the bench on the zombies to defend themselves.

They threw the bench on the zombies and started to run.The zombies still ran behind so they had to fight them by kicking them.On their way they saw students hiding in the chemistry lab.

They banged the door and pleased the students to take them in.

Vedant:Open the door!please!

Tanvi opens the door and takes them in.The zombies come running but they immediately close the door tightly.There were 3 students hiding in there,Tanvi,Tanishka and Aryann.

Parth:Thank you guys.are u the only survivours?

Tanishka: honestly ,we don't know.

Aryann: maybe there are,let's see .

outside,there were still some students who were running away.

Gayatri:come on,fast!we can't wait here!

Vaidehi:were can we even go?zombies are everywhere!

Samiksha : let's just try to escape from here.Shall we go on the ground floor?

Gayatri :okay let's try . even if we get caught,atleast we won't regret dieing cause we atleast tried.

Samiksha:you have this rod with you right?the all set,we can push them away.

Vaidehi:guys let's go

Gayatri:please don't feel bad or hesitate to kick them,they are no more students they are zombies!

Samiksha:Run !

The 3 ran upstairs.They had to confront some zombies but they still managed to tackle them.the 3 reached till the 1st floor but many zombies were running behind them.They changed their minds quickly and ran to find a safe class.Gayatri saw the students in the chemistry lab and asked them to take them in.The students took them in.A student ,named Gandhali too came running near the lab so they took her in

Vaidehi:oh god! I thought I am dead today!

Samiksha:I know right! God that is frustrating!

Gayatri: I always wished for a zombie apocylpse.I didn't imagined it would be this hard.

Parth: yeah right. I too did sometimes.You know,it's like a real life 'all of us are dead',but more insane one.

Meanwhile,Sameera and Snehal were hiding in the biology lab.they both were the only alive students from their class.

They suddenly spotted a suspicious movement behind the cupboard. They slowly went near the cupboard to see what is there and there were 3 students .They were,Katy,Viven and Om.They were glas they were not alone now.

Snehal: guys,how did u came here?

Om: I was near the bio lab when zombies started increasing here .I saw that all and hid in the lab in fear .while hiding, I saw these both running so I took them in.

Sameera: Didn't u saw us?

Om:no.I was scared at a point that I left the door open.

Katy:luckily none if the zombies entered the lab.

Sameera: still thanks we could come in.

Viven:well guys,u don't think this place is safe .

Katy:yeah,if the zombies increase,there will be no chance of us escaping from the school.

Om: we have to so something ,we have to escape.

Snehal:there is no other option then confronting the zombies.

Sameera: yes we have to do that.

Om: let's make a perfect plan then.

Here ,in the chemistry lab the students were thinking of a way to escape. Suddenly 2 students, Ridhima and Aditya entered by climbing a ladder,from the backside if the school.The students safely took them in.

Ridhima: Thank you for taking us in.

Aditya: yeah really thank you

Gandhali: how did you guys reach ther school ground? And why didn't you just ran away from the school?

Ridhima: we both went on the ground to meet the sports teacher .The apocalypse came all of sudden.  Seeing that all,We came running towards the backside of the school.There we saw a ladder and we heard some voices coming from chemistry lab,so we thought there are are probably some survivors here so we came up here.

Gayatri:Oh god!how are the things outside ?

Aditya:Its a whole big mess outside. Even sports teacher turned ,infront of us.I can't Express how much sad I am right now.

Samiksha:I understand. But now,,the only option we have is to escape from the school .

Parth: Its a whole mess in the school .Don't you think the teachers or the students or even the guards or people who live in the buildings near the school have called the cops ?

Gayatri:I don't think anyone from the school would have did. Firstly,we are not even allowed to carry our phones and secondly,I don't think anyone had time to call,I mean see the speed of the zombies,the number of zombies.It was surely impossible to call.

Vedant:Yeah you are right actually .But I think people who live in our surrounding buildings must have did.now it's such a big mess,people would have surely seen this all .

Gandhali : what if the zombies would have even reached outside the school?

Aryann: they will surely not reach so fast.But they can anytime soon.

Tanishka: But I am sure cops will come to save us.

Vedant :Guys, see outside the door.The zombies can clearly see we are here inside .What if the door breaks if they put pressure on it?

Parth:Oh god! If we don't escape from here anytime soon,we are dead for sure.

Gayatri:That is what I am too thinking of.I think that even if we are sure that the cops will come, we still have to hide at some safe place until they arrive.

Aryann: okay then.i guess I have a plan.as per my thinking,I think we should go on the 2nd floor .there is computer lab.we can communicate with the locals and the emergency services from there .for that we have to go to there from the new building side cause the old one will take more efforts. We need to distract them to the old building side so pyar way can be clear.

Vaidehi:that's a very nice plan but do you know how are we gonna do it?? we will die the moment we open the door cause all the zombies we rush inside.

Parth:guys I have an idea to continue this plan.Listen,how about using these chemicals?we will throw the harmful ones on them .even if they are zombies their bodies will still burn and they will like froze or will  be motionless for a min or more.that is enough for us to run up to the 2nd floor .

Parth makde a really strong plan using Aryann's great idea. According to his plan, they will first wear gloves in their both hands.and will take harmful chemicals like sulphuric acid and hydrochloric acid in the big beakers .2 students will open the door.as soon as they open the door,the students will start pushing the zombies with the chairs and stools.they will make some noise in order to attract the new building side zombies towards them .when the new building way becomes clear,they all will push the zombies on the floor and will throw the acids on them.The zombies will be motionless for atleast a minute and then we will run up. Parth:So,Aditya,Ridhima and Tanvi,take the chemicals and get the gloves .Gandhali and Tanishka,find some things to make noise so the new building zombies will come here,we have to clear the way. Rest everyone ,get ready with the chairs.

Aditya: okay.But,who will be opening the door

Parth :me and you will be opening the door. Then immediately we will push them,Tanishka and Gandhali will start making noise from the things they got.once the new building way is clear we will push them on ground and will throw the chemicals on them.

Samiksha :you've made a really good plan!

Parth: so let's just work on it. Come on ,fast.

All the students in the chemistry lab were now getting ready for exicuting their plan

Here in the biology lab,the students were thinking of an idea,but still none of them got one.The zombies suddenly ran to the old building side. The students decided to sneak away as the zombies were not there . They silently went near the door and opened it .they were coming out of the lab when 2 students came running towards them .It was Atharva and Ishwari.The zombies came running behind them.The other students quickly held their hands and took those 2 with them and ran.the zombies stil caught them. Atharva kicked the zombies and due to that noise, more zombies came running .they instead went back in the lab .they quickly decided to attract the zombies in the room and throw them using stools down the windows. The students attracted the zombies near the window and then pushed them with chairs and stools .the way was almost clear.They ran away from the room before more zombies came. 2 zombies came running towards them.Om didn't think twice and jumped on them just to protect others. He blocked them to make sure others can run Atharva and Viven came to help him and they locked the zombies in the biology lab and ran. They went on the 4th floor.

The students in the chemistry lab were now all set to execute their plan .

Parth : everyone ,ready?

Vaidehi: yes we are ready.

Parth: I don't want any mess to happen right now. Let's do everything as per planned.

Gayatri: trust us .we will not disappoint you.

Parth: okay. I am opening the door. Aditya,you open it from that side.

Parth and Aditya opened the door.The students rushed out and starting blocking the zombies with the chairs .Tanishka and Gandhali started to make noise . As per planned,the zombies in the new building side came running towards them. Aryann signaled everyone that now the way is clear .Everyone came close and gave a big push to all the zombies with the chair and threw the chemicals on them. The zombies started screaming and the students threw the chemicals on their face which led to burning of their eyes and so the zombies were not even able to see the students. They all went upstairs but a zombie caught Parth. However, he pushed the zombie on the wall and blocked him with a chair.Everyone was calling him as more zombies can come due to the noise so he pushed the zombie in the lab and locked him.he then ran away.

with others. While going upstairs ,Tanvi's leg tangled up in a rope and she fell down. Tanishka came to help her .but the luck was no longer with them .The zombies caught them and the girls were too turned now.Everyone wanted to save but had no choice left than running. They all went on the 2nd floor.They found a empty a class and rushed in it. They all were feeling bad as they lost their 2 Friends .

Ridhima: those 2 girls so good to us .They managed to tackle the zombies with us but a rope ended their life!

Gayatri : I wish I could've saved them.

Vaidehi:The zombies were busy biting them and didn't notice us .That is why we are here .

Aryann: yeah right. We are safe because if them .

Parth : I too feel bad for them. But we can't grief right now. We never planned to come in this room. We have go  somewhere else . I am not even sure about the cops .What if they don't come

Samiksha : yeah right. This place looks safe though. But we can't stay here longer.

Unexpectedly,some more students were safe and hiding until now .It was a group if girls. They were hiding there from a long time and didn't had any idea gow to escape. But now one of them,Julia, got an idea.She saw the zombies running to the chemistry lab .It was because of the group of students who made noise .She didn't knew about that but she knew that for now the zombies are there .

Julia: listen, I don't know why but the zombies ran towards the chemistry lab. Seems like there are no or 1 2 zombies here in the old building. I think this is the perfect time to escape from this room,until the zombies are near the lab

Nandita:how tho? Those creeps can come anytime!

Julia : that's what I am saying. The zombies are still there ,we should run before they come .Everyone,quietly come with me. We have to go up to the 3rd floor. There is principal's cabin so we can call the cops from there.

Vibhuti: we need somethings to defend us.

Nandita: You know what,take them,but I am experienced in fighting. I can easily confront them. But only if they aren't more in numbers

Gungun:wow that's great. So lets just go.

The girls came out of the room and saw several zombies screaming while they are  on the ground.The girls had to confront the zombies.Nandita, who was very skilled at fighting and taekwondo,easily tackled them all and even saved the other girls at some points.They sneaked away from there and managed to reach the 3rd floor but it was almost evening and they were tired. The zombies came running so they instead had to lock themselves in a room far away from the Principal's office.
