White Mystic Fox In A Radical World

Under the cloak of midnight, behind the faint creaking sounds of metal bars, staring into the vast beautiful garden of twinkling stars and the gentle, lovely blue moon as its host, was the only fox girl living in the desolate mountain ranges of Maryland with an unknown background. The gleaming reflection of those flickering flowers in her meekly eyes, as well as her blossoming countenance of hardships, demonstrate both her innocence and independence, which has never been tainted by the outside world. A lovely flower eventually touched after thousands of years of living in peace, some bad elements plucked that flower from its natural habitat. The white fox girl never knows what's good and bad, letting them cage her effortlessly without minding their evil sneers because of her over-the-clouds excitement. Finally, the white fox girl realizes she has been treated as nothing more than a prey item ready to be devoured. She's staring at the night skies for a long time and slowly closes her eyes once she gets that divine premonition from somewhere else. It was soothing in the mind. Her lovely smile showed acceptance with tears flowing through her pinkish cheeks, and her consciousness began fading away. Before her senses faded, that glowing angel descended, knelt in front of her, and wiped away her tears. She doesn't know how to express her gratitude to the heavens above for blessing her with a fulfilling and peaceful life. Even if it was a mere single moment, that gratitude and that smile of hers were the happiest things she could ever express. Time has passed, and the sun has risen from its slumber. The soul of the thousand-year-old white fox girl finally ascended to heaven, leaving her lifeless, cold body behind, leaning against rusted metal poles. It was the most peaceful death everyone wished for. Painless and no regrets. The men in charge of the front didn't notice anything out of the ordinary going on behind them. Well... In common perspective and also in reality, a caged dead fox girl at the back of a horse-drawn carriage is no less than a funeral procession. Book also found on wattpad and royalroad

Chapter 4- Snatch And Run

This beast lady somehow managed to keep her deep desperation sealed, not letting her high stature falter.

It isn't an ill pressure or some kind of unpleasing perception, unlike those big knights, but it is so heavy in that kind of negativity, and I didn't notice her perversion behind that.

If I've harbored such a level of depression, intrusive thoughts will surely rampage every single night.

Believe it or not, I could tell everybody's feelings and desires.

Are dogs and foxes like this, too? Sniffing their kind, I couldn't resist tasting her lavender-kind scent blanketing every nook of her being. She so smells good and I bet any deprived canine would pursue her.

Once I thought of that, a vast number of memories flowed vividly into my head. But mysteriously, it didn't cause a headache; it only felt like I was remembering things that I'd forgotten. In total, it should be a millennium's worth of memories living entirely in the forest. There are even memories from creation, but do people remember things that far in the past?

To think the girl I admired is too innocent and primitive-lush forest, animal friends, delicious fruits, yeah.

Now that I remembered, why does she wear different clothes than I do?

Moreover, her innocence resulted in a lack of emotional development. I want to feel outraged still...

"Please stop."

I said in a low, monotonous voice, and fortunately, she acknowledged my plea.

With that knightly composure and those teacher vibes, I bet she's somewhat in a military organization.

"I'd like to ask a few questions, would you?"

She has these gangster vibes and wanted to punch me once I failed to meet her expectations.

I'm pretty sure.

With that unsheathed blade, she'll split me in half...

"Yes"

"What are you?"

"fox person..."

"Where did you come from?"

"... from the Maryland Mountains, ma'am"

"Why are you here... in human territory?"

"Luckily, I escaped from those slavers."

Of course, just like me, this person standing in front of you knows how to spot liars.

Unlike her sinister flesh-thirsty blade, she's a good person, no doubt, although she can kill me now if she wanted to.

She sighed heavily, sheathed her blade, and the atmosphere turned to normal.

"Uhm, what's wrong, ma'am?"

"You're a different kind of fox?"

"Uh, I'm not sure."

Her wildly bold eyes squinted through mine, and she scooped me up in her arms like a bridal carry.

I didn't resist since she gripped me tightly and was sniffing crazily. That hurts so badly, woman.

"Ah-..."

"Forgive me. Unlike anyone, I couldn't smell you no matter what. "

She loosened, and the injuries in my right arm and legs were caused by her pointed nail marks. They are now healed instantly.

"Just what are you, young fox lady? Your body looks fragile yet so tough. You even restored yourself in a second. "

"Wait a minute... you broke my limbs, don't you?! ", I raise my voice a bit.

"I tried and no."

Are you a madwoman? These people are nuts. I hope to find a reasonable person someday. Now she mentions it, which means this body is tolerable enough against pain.

And so is my cell rejuvenation rate.

"Ma'am, would you let me down?"

"Forgive me, fox lady. There's a reason why I need to get you back to the kingdom. "

"What?"

What are you talking about? Kingdom? Reason? And for what reason might that be?

"The strongest of the slavers you're referring to attacked us about a week ago. Thanks to them, we lost a lot of fox people."

"... uhm... sorry to hear that-"

"Stop, I don't need your sympathy. My original goal was to kill them as fast as possible, but now your life is more important. "

You don't mean

"Yes, they notice us, and with that hostility..."

"Again, what should we do?"

"Just hold on and keep silent. I will run as fast as I can while I carry you. "

My heart beats faster than I imagined. Is this the feeling of being saved? What a twisted world. This person harbored negative emotions, yet she prevailed in righteousness over her ego.

She'd now trespassed on several tall trees while carrying me in her soft arms. She's warm and comfortable, but this time, my tears flow down as well as my desire that at least she would share that burden with me.

I watched her mature and responsible-looking face contemplating ways to help her out.

She noticed me and I shyly smiled.

"Are you scared of this creepy forest?"

"Creepy forest? Hell... no! "

"Then why?"

"You smell good..."

Hmm... she didn't reply to me, and guess what? Finally, she smiles. That brightness made me feel good, and now I knew how to please her.

"My deepest gratitude, Fox Lady."

"You are most welcome, ma'am."

Don't get me wrong, she was like a teacher to me and that's it. No hard feelings here. I just want to help her, but I don't trust her either.

This forest exudes mystical vibes, and countless floating lights come out from where they hide.

Observing this never-ending grove while hugging her around the neck,

Ohh, that white-pinkish flower looks cheerful...

What a waste! That fruit looks tasty!

Ahh, I want to search for that big tree.

...

Time passed and went by. After traversing the thick wilderness before the sun says goodbye, we finally reached the destination whose scenery makes your mind go blank.

No pun intended. Yeah, that's a bit exaggerated, and my apologies.

All I could say is... just outside of their kingdom is so immensely beautiful. Like me, they love nature the most.
