The next day goes quickly, and now that Tony had the all-clear to leave and has been told how to re-bandage his badges and how to keep a lookout for infections, he's excited to go home. "Let's get the meeting over And done with, then fury will leave us alone unless there's an emergency, and it'll be nice to go home." Tony said. "Morgan will be happy to see you," Pepper told Tony. "She's probably going to be confused about all of this," Tony told Pepper. "Probably, but we can explain it or try to. I'm not sure how much she'll understand, but she'll be happy to see you, that I'm certain of." Pepper told Tony. "Yeah," Tony said, getting off the bed and standing up. "Are you sure you're OK?" "I could talk to Fury and see if he could delay the meeting if you are not okay," Pepper told Tony. "I promise I'm fine," Tony told Pepper, smiling at her. "Sorry, just worried, that's all," Pepper told Tony. "You don't have to apologize to me, don't worry," Tony said, wrapping his left arm around Pepper. "I guess you want to take one of your jets to shield," Pepper said. "The jets are nice," Tony said. Peppa smiled at Tony as they headed out of the room. As they got to the car park, they heard a jet flying over their heads. "That'll be Rhodey on time as always," Tony said, looking up to see the jet. They headed to the jet. Pepper boarded the jet, and Tony followed behind. "Hello, honey, I'm home," Tony joked. "Real funny," Rhodey said, turning around in the driver's seat. "What did you miss about me?" Tony joked. "I don't know, did I? '' Rhodey joked. "That hurts Rhodes really," Tony said in mock hurt. "Maybe I did just a little," Rhodey told Tony. "MorganS in the back. I didn't know what to tell her. I thought it was best to leave it to you two," Rhodey told Pepper and Tony. "It's fine, Rhodey; thank you for everything; we will try to explain everything to you later when we get home," Pepper told Rhodey. Tony and Pepper then walk to the back of the jet. "Morgan, where are you, sweetheart?" Pepper asked. Pepper and Tony look around for her. Suddenly, they hear Paw Patrol coming from a nearby tablet. Pepper smiles at it. "She's over there; follow the sound of Paw Patrol," Pepper said, smiling. Finally, Pepper saw Morgan staring at the iPad. "You know you shouldn't be that close to the screen; you'll get square eyes," Pepper told her. Morgan looked up. "Mummy," Morgan said, jumping up and hugging Pepper. "It's OK, I missed you, and I hope you've been a good girl for Uncle Rhodey," Pepper said. Tony then saw Morgan look at him. "Daddy," Morgan said, confused.
