Chapter 4: One Step Ahead (Almost Seven)

Konoha Year 57, First Month, Third Week.

"Here's the plan," Nora begin, "Akiro and I will knock out some people who works in this Club and Vū will look into their memories. And if their brain does not contain the information we want, Akiro, you'll place a genjutsu on their system making them forget about their confrontation with us."

Akiro snapped, then pointed his finger at her, indicating that he got his role of the mission.

"After we get the necessity information we want, we'll get on their lair where the people, who run this thing, is residing."

"What of me?" Tobias asked. Truthfully, he wasn't ready yet to enter a battle he wasn't familiar with. While he did got into fights in his previous life, that still wasn't the case. The fights he had entered were tournaments, they were fights recognized by the government so dirty ways and unfairness were not tolerant by the judges.

Nora stared at him for a moment. She had only met the the boy just a couple of hours ago and she didn't know much about his skills, she thought.

Vū, knowing Nora doesn't know much about Tobias' skills, supplied, "Just give him a couple of sticks and we'll be ready."

"No need." Tobias waved off, "I found the table legs to be suitable."

Hearing this, Vū took one of the table legs and gave it to him.

"Thank you." He said, smiling.

'I don't want your thanks,' was what Vū wanted to say but refrained himself and nodded.

Nora ordered for them to take their plan onto action as they all shunshin'd away, leaving Tobias.

One by one, Akira and Nora knocked the securities and let Vū use his clan's Hidden Jutsu. They repeated the process again and again until they got the information they needed.

The three entered a hole and found a secret underground sex club.

"Wait!" Nora said, making the two pause on their movements, "Isn't that little brat Tobias?" She exclaimed, making the two turned their heads on where she had pointed her finger onto. Gritting her teeth, her mind began to working on possible worse-case scenarios regarding Tobias' presence here, she marched on Tobias' direction and yanked his shirt.

"You got ten seconds to explain your circumstances before I knock your teeth off your mouth. Ten,"

'Fuck, I didn't know that she'd react like this,'

[See, I was right. Told ya, you've told her first before making your own move.]

'Oh fuck off! You couldn't help but want to be right every single time huh?!'

"... eight, don't ignore me you brat!" She shouted on his ears, Tobias could barely hear her because of the loud background sound but could still hear her nonetheless, "Clock's ticking. Tick, tick, tick, tick, seven!"

"I just got here!" He continued, "I followed some suspicious guy that seems to be different from the others 'cause he had a blue button instead of white!"

Nora still hadn't let go, in spite of his confession, and gripped his shirt tightly.

"Nora, that's enough!" Akiro said.

"That doesn't explain as to why didn't he told us about it first!" She exclaimed irritatedly.

"I'm not a fucking sensor,"

"No shit," sarcasm dripped her voice, "you're a fucking Yamanaka!"

"Tobias still hasn't been training with the clan's Hidden Jutsu yet." Vū backed up.

Nora stared on his eyes a little longer and said, "If I caught you being suspicious, I'll personally interrogate you myself."

"You're paranoid," he said.

"What's that, I'm a little what!?"

"Oh please, Nora, just take it as a compliment. And don't you dare give me that look of yours, let us just proceed with the mission and get this over with."

Nora grunted, nonetheless, she stormed off.

"I'm so sorry about that," Akiro apologized in behalf of Nora, "I hope you understand, that as a Shinobi, where even your allies could potentionally stab you in the back."

"No, no," he repeated, "Let's just proceed with the mission, as you said."

Tobias molded his chakra on the bottom of his feet and walk on the wall, 'What a crazy bitch,'

[Well that crazy bitch was about to beat you up!]

'Shut it!'

"That went well didn't it?"

Akiro asked his remaining companion left.

"Don't ask me about it." Replied Vū and shook his head in annoyance, "I second Tobias' statement."

"I might die before I get the chance to murder her," Akiro murmered to himself, "I should just wait here in case they'll come back," he decided.

Nora spotted a man from the corner of her vision. She didn't get to check the man's buttons, which will determine his position in this Club, but she could tell that he work for the Club. She followed after the man from the male's restroom and proceed with her work.

Meanwhile Vū walk away from the unconscious man, whom he had used his Jutsu against, to leaned against the nearest wall. He panted heavily and tried to catch his breath. It was thoughtless of him to overuse the use of Mind Body Change Jutsu given that there was a chance that his soul could take damage, but thankfully he didn't and had only took an exhaustion.

'I should refrain the use of Mind Body Change Jutsu for now,'

"You're exhausted,"

Vū hastily snatched a kunai on his holster and spun around to aim the tip of the kunai at the person, "You startled me." He said.

Nora, who had recently came out from the male's restroom that Vū didn't bother to ask why she was there, merely shrugged, "You should take a rest."

"I'm fine," he insisted, "I just have to refrain using Ninjutsu's for now."

"Let's meet up with them."

"Where? Did you even tell them where we'll meet up?"

"No," Vū deadpanned, "But knowing Akiro, he'll wait for us."

Nora had already opened her mouth before Vū could open his and is about to ask what information she had recently recieved.

"There's a VIP area that speculate the whole entire area here and there," she started, "I'm guessing that the people, who run this Club, is inside the that area and is aware of our movements."

"That means that they're getting away,"

"No," she shook her head making Vū stare at her, a silent gesture that meant for her to clarify her conlusion, "Yes, they are getting away and no, because they are still not outside of the building. Its either that they are occupied that they didn't even noticed our presence or they're simply arrogant."

They spotted Akiro, leaning on the wall.

"You guys are back," he crossed his arms, "Where's the other guy?"

"He's already one step ahead of us." She realizes.
