She felt a sudden jab in the side of her body. She flew to her feet dagger in hand ready to take on anyone or anything. She turn around quickly, eyes scanning everything. Yet nothing was to be found. Her horse nudged her side again and she slowly realized that her horse had infact woken her up. It wasn't early so apparently she had slept in. Or atleast it looked like if from where the sun was positioned in the sky.
~Late mornin i'd reckon. Damnit Alazar why didn't you wake me up earlier. Rogue asks me for a huge favor and then the entire world starts working against me. First I couldn't find my bag. Of course it had been stolen by a lowlife scum, then i got stopped in three diffrent town's by patrols looking for spies and some sort of killer. And to top it off i now wake up late when i'm only 2 days away from the meet up location Rogue sent me.
Pat let out a huge sigh as she stared at her horse.
~And then i blame you for not waking me up earlier. I'm sorry Alazar.
Alazar looked at her, neighed and then went off to eat some grass before he would have to carry her to the next town.
~So today for breakfast we got ourselves some dried meat or whatever that is, a apple and berries! Boy do i miss coffee.
Breakfast wasn't all that pleasent out in the wilderness When you didn't have a fire and a nice stew but sometimes you just do what you have to do. She threw in the last couple of berries and started to pack up camp. Sure the camp wasnt much to look at since she rode until late and usually got up early. A little fireplace, her bag used as a pillow and her bedroll that had seen better days. Except for that it wasn't much else except leaves and some grass. The camping spot was just a little bit off from the main road in these woods. It was far enough away however that she would'nt be disturbed incase there was a late night patrol or some eager merchant going to town as early as possible to get the best spot to be able to sell his goods. She saddled Alazar, let him out to the main road and set of on her mission one's again.
