chapter 1

Quiet sobs rang out through the empty park, the source? A little girl with greasy blonde hair who was sitting on a swing set. She held her head in her hands as her sobs got louder, a certain green haired boy couldn't stand it.

He walked over to the girl, who seemed to be slightly older than him, and sat on the swing next to her.

"Are you okay?" the boy asked softly as dull yellow eyes shot to his.

Breath stuttered out of the girl as she looked at her hands, tears slipping past her eyes.

"N-no." she finally stuttered out as the boy looked at her encouragingly, "Ev-everyone thinks I'm a m-m-monster!"

"Why would anyone think that?" the boy asked as gave the girl a confused face.

"M-my quirk...." the girl said softly, "Everyone thinks my quirk is villainess.

The boys face hardened as she finished her sentence and bowed her head in shame. He knew all too well what she was going through, since he was going through the same thing.

"I don't think any quirk is villainess." the boy said as he looked ahead, "I have a quirk that is thought to be villainess, but it only becomes that if I want it too."

The girl looked at the boy with wide eyes, what he said makes sense. And it made her feel better, he connected with her without pitying her.

"W-what's your quirk?" the girl asked as her hope-filled eyes met his green ones.

The boy held his hand out, and blood started to float out of a pinprick on his palm. The blood slowly formed a blade and he grasped it.

"I can control blood." the boy said as he looked at his dagger made of blood, "I can heal anyone by manipulating their blood, or I can attack with my or their blood."

"That's so cool! How is that villainess?" the girl giggled as she stared at the boy in awe, "If I drink someone's blood I can look just like them."

"Really?" the boy asked as he sent her a large smile, "That's so cool! You can help so many people with that quirk!"

"R-really?" the girl stutter as her smile grew to a size it hasn't in years.

"Yup!" the boy nodded, "I'm Izuku Midoriya how about you!"

"I'm Himiko Toga."

Toga skipped home, a large smile on her face as she thought about the boy she had just met. They were going to meet up again tomorrow, and Toga could tell Izuku meant it. The smile quickly faded as she stopped in front of her house.

She took a deep breath as she wore a determined face. She could do this! Right? Toga took a deep breath and pushed her door open, closing it behind her silently. She kicked her shoes off and started to carefully walk to her bedroom.

Something grabbed her hair and pulled her to the front door. She didn't need to open her eyes to know who it was. A woman with long blonde hair and dark green eyes towered above Toga, her hateful gaze landing on the shaking five year old.

"Where do you think your going monster!?" the woman slurred, reeking of alcohol.

Toga stayed quiet, she wouldn't give her mother the satisfaction of speaking to her. That was what the older female wanted, she wanted her daughter to beg, scream, cry.

"It's your fault he left!" the mother yelled, slamming Toga's head on the door behind her, "Your a monster!

Toga's bottom lip started to quiver at her mothers words, her actions. Her mom got even angrier seeing her daughter stand there, not saying a word. Toga was thrown on the floor and all she could do was take the beating her mother was giving her.

After what felt like hours how getting kicked, punched, even sliced, Toga's mom spit on her daughter and walked away as she took a swig of beer. Toga curled up in a ball as she sobbed silently, she was starting to believe what her mother said to her. She was a monster, she was a villain and it was all because of her quirk!

'I don't think any quirk is villainess. I have a quirk that is thought to be villainess, but it only becomes that if I want it too.

Toga stopped crying as she remembered what Izuku had said. He was right, she didn't think her quirk was villainess so why should it be labeled that way? Sniffing, Toga pulled her sore body off the ground with a determined look on her face.

Her friend was right, and if he cared for her he would help her with her troubles. And in turn, Toga would help him with his.
