Sitting on the floor right beside the bed, Kalki put 3 monster cores in front of him alongside with the pain numbing potion. It all costs Kalki around 300k G-coins but everything he bought was worth the money.

 Among the 3 F-rank monster cores one was from 'black Gorilla' known for his strength, second was from 'fang leopard' known for his speed and last one being from 'livich squid' known for his healing properties. Kalki's motive behind getting 3 different types of monster core was to get their respective special stats increases.

There were two methods that were used by the brain devil to forcefully awaken children in the novel. One was by giving 2 to 3 F-rank monster cores to them which was a very painful process to undergo. 

The person has to consume the three monster cores one by one simultaneously which increases the pain by many folds each time. The death caused by this method was mainly due to the huge amount of unbearable pain felt during the awakening process.

Second process was overall more deadly but caused less pain during awakening. It required an E-rank monster core consumption and with the help of immense mana of E-ank core the body was forced to Awaken. On the contrary if the body wasn't able to handle the amount of mana then it results in death with a boom. 

Though the route Kalki was taking was more painful and would only give him less talent, Kalki preferred his life more. After all, he knows many more ways of increasing his talent. 

Kalki consumed the three monster cores one by one in a gap of a few seconds after consuming the earlier one completely. 

Few minutes while sitting in the meditative position he felt warmness in his stomach. instantly opening the pain numbing potion lid he gulped it down quickly. 

 Still soon he started to feel immense pain starting from his stomach moving towards his whole body. 

He stuffed his mouth with a piece of cloth to reduce the loudness of his screams. Veins popped out all over his body and the blood started to gose out from all openings in his body. 

Knowing he would die the moment he lost his consciousness while the whole process was going on, he tried to hold onto his consciousness with every ounce of mental strength he could muster. 

This was Kalki's first time feeling this much pain. Although he already drank pain numbing potion and it reduced the pain by many folds, still for Kalki it was a lot from the beginning. Kalki didn't even want to imagine the real pain that those children go through. Ten or more minutes later when the pain alongside the warmth all over his body subdued, Kalki finally let his drowsiness take over.

Kalki wakes up by the bright light falling on his eyelids. The scenery of blood covering the whole carpet in which he fell asleep was waiting for him. Praising himself for deciding to go through the whole process while being butt naked. Thus not making a pair of his clothes garbage which were very few he have to begin with..

He looked at the blue Panel screen in front of his eyes and put his name as Kalki Hertz instead of Lautrian Crook which was the previous name of his body. He put his past life name 'Kalki' as his first name and his life mother's family name 'Hertz' as his surname.

Looking at his system screen Kalki was in awe. This was his first time to ever see such a trashy status panel. Even in the novel no one ever has a status panel like this. Kalki didn't even want to think about the G- rank in his stamina since never once in a novel was there a mention of anything about anyone being at G-rank.

'Damn what the hell is this G-rank? Was this G-rank specially made for me since I became an awakener even with such a trash body???.....*Sigh*....

Kalki didn't let his insanely weak status panel to his head nor did he care about his core rank which were miles apart compared to the main cast. He knew to survive in this world what he required the most was immense luck or crazy surviving skills, both of them he didn't have.

Kalki soon cleaned everything that was caused due to his awakening process and sat down on the bed and started forming a plan for his future. Now that he completed his first motive of coming to the 'Verq city' he had two ways which he could choose to move forward.

 First one was to go to 'Thark forest' in the east of 'Rehanik city' where the hidden dungeon and mana art was hidden and second was to go to Petrison continent for 'pond of wonder' through teleportation gate situated in Verq city.
