21. Aftermath

Looking at the way that Momo used her quirk. I was proud of her and proud of myself for all the training, I provided her. This was the fruit of her hard work. People might say that you are genius but they never think that the genius also has to put in a lot of effort to live up to the expectations placed upon their shoulders by the people surrounding them.

AllMight is another case of this equation. He is hailed as the symbol of peace but if he falls then the villains will become more brazen and will definitely try to change the power structure between the heroes and the villains. A single man can only do so much.

The rest of the class immediately surrounded Momo and started asking her questions left and right. Which she didn't seem to really mind. I didn't interfere, this was her moment. She did all that to gain recognition and this will help with her confidence. I will also make sure that she doesn't get over-confident but having confidence in yourself is never a bad thing.

"Onii-chan, how did I do". 'Praise me, Praise me'. Looking at her expression, it looked like she was expecting words of praise like a puppy from their owner.

"You did really good in that test but you shouldn't have asked the to surrender and should've knocked them out from the start. I have told you many time to always be decisive with your enemies. Otherwise, you did really good. I am proud of you". I said to her in a kind smile while looking her in the eyes. From my words at the start she looked really happy, then deflated afterwards and then she looked like she just won a championship. She had her hands folded below her chest and had a big smile on her face.

"Hey, she did really good. You didn't even do anything. So how can you say that she did bad in the test". This was Jiro trying to reprimand me about what I said to Momo. It looked like in the canon. She had become protective of Momo her as well.

"It's okay Jiro, I take advice like this from Onii-chan a lot. He always gives me his honest opinion to help me in my training. I was the one to ask him to let me handle them all on my own anyway". Momo said to Jiro looking troubled. She was waving her hands in front of Jiro while explaining everything.

"Jiro, I know that you are her friend and I appreciate that, but I am her Boyfriend and I will only do what ii good for her. I praised her but I also need to tell her, what is good to do and what is not?! This is the hero course, she will make mistakes in the future that can cost a lot. So, giving advice will only help her." I said looking dead serious in her eyes. It looked like Jiro also found that what she said was not good after listening to me and Momo.

Jiro dropped her head a little and her ears also flopped down. She looked sad after I reprimanded her. I found this kind of cute and started patting her head with a smile. She looked up and looking at my smile, blushed heavily. Momo looked jealous, while she was looking at me patting Jiro's head. So, I also started Patting her head and she just looked down a little with a cute blush on her face.

"Neeee Momo, how did you get the idea of using your quirk to kale guns. Your martial arts also looked super good. The way you dodged those bullet, I found it awesome". Toru came from the side with her usual floating clothes. I couldn't see her expression but her tone sounded eager and excited. She had her gloved hands joined in front. Probably in front of her chest.

"That was all Onii-chan's idea on how to utilise my quirk and get versatility and good fire power in it's utilisation". Momo looked at me with a smile first. Then started explaining it all to Toru.

"Ohh, I find it odd. Vegeta said that he is your boyfriend but you call him Onii-chan. Are you brother and sisters?" Mina came from the side interrupting the conversation with her own question. There was intrigue in her tone of voice. She had an enquiring look in her eyes looking at me and Momo.

"Its nothing, we are not related by blood. So its not a big deal. Our parents support our relationship. Thats all that matters to me". I just casually waved my hand and gave Momo a loving look that said it all.

Like that, we just had some casual chat with each other. We slowly made our way back to the classroom. I also made some remarks when asked some questions. I wasn't a total dick about anything. I did try to divert the topic when asked about my quirk but thats all.

When we made our way back to the class. I just silently sat down in my seat and started dozing off. I looked around but when my eyes landed on Toru. I suddenly had an idea. I slowly started pumping Ki to my eyes, I was being careful as it was my first time doing it. I could literally see the electromagnetic spectrum. I could see how gravity moves. It was an intoxicating and a very liberating feeling.

Remembering why I was doing it. I snapped out of my stupor and looked at Toru. What I saw took my breath away.
