Chapter 66 Eleven People In Genius Class First Year

After knowing the contents of the parcels in front of our room were academy uniforms, the four of us went to our respective rooms to rest before starting our training again later. After resting for about 1 hour we continued training as usual until it was time for dinner and back to our room to rest.

Today was the Entrance Ceremony which signified that it was time for academy lessons to begin. Today I woke up earlier than usual to get ready to go to the cafeteria for breakfast before the entrance ceremony was held. This time I knocked on Roony, Nanda, and Adel's door first before going to the cafeteria for breakfast.

The four of us went together to the cafeteria wearing the academy uniform we received yesterday, and right now I feel that I have become a student at a real academy after wearing this uniform. "What do you think? I look good in this uniform right?" Adel asked us about her current appearance.

Even though Adel is a woman who is a bit rough, she is still a woman who cares about her appearance. So she looks very suitable wearing her academy uniform, Adel is about 3 to 4 cm taller than me. She is the tallest among the four of us, second is Roony, then me, and then Nanda.

"Yes Adel, you look very suitable in that uniform" Nanda answered Adel's question with a smile. "Thank you, Nanda, you also look beautiful in your uniform" then Adel returned Nanda's compliment, Nanda also looked beautiful when wearing the academy uniform.

I think this uniform is designed to fit everyone's body so that the two of them are currently complimenting each other, even though they had never questioned their appearance to other people before.

Roony and I who saw the two of them compliment each other couldn't help but stay silent and followed them from behind. They both looked so happy wearing the uniforms, that neither of us wanted to interrupt their fun until we arrived at the cafeteria.

The situation in the cafeteria is currently busier than usual, apparently because everyone woke up early to get ready to go to the entrance ceremony. Previously breakfast time was from 6 am to 10 am because the academy had not yet started its lessons. Now, the ceremony will be held at 7.30 am, so we all don't want to be late on our first day of school and wake up earlier than usual.

Luckily the four of us entered the Genius class, so we didn't have to jostle with the other students to fight over the dinner table, because the dining table for the Genius class had fewer people but the total number of tables was the same as that of ordinary students.

The chef guarding the cafeteria as usual asked the names of the four of us before giving us food, even though we eat here every day. After we received our food from the chef, we were quickly seated at a table that was empty and enough for four people.

We chatted a bit while eating our food. After we finished all our food and wanted to leave the cafeteria to go to where the entrance ceremony was held, we were told by the receptionist to bring our weapons when we came to the entrance ceremony.

Hearing that, the four of us returned to our room to get our weapons. After we took our weapons, we went together to the school building where I met the principal at that time.

We walked together with other students who were heading to that place, I'm still not used to seeing people with different hair colors. Because in my village the people don't learn Foundation Skills, so their hair color doesn't change and it stays black.

Then I looked to my right and left, yes my classmates also have different hair colors and I guess my hair color will also change later as time goes by because I have learned the Metal element Foundation Skill.

I got a little impatient when I saw my hair color change to silver color, that must be really cool. I just realized it seems that people who use Metal elements here are very rare. Because I haven't seen anyone with silver hair until now.

The average hair color of the students here is red, blue, and brown. I saw someone with green hair several times, but I also didn't find someone with white hair like the guy I met at the cafeteria yesterday.

After walking quite a distance we finally arrived at the school gate, there was a sign telling us to head to the field to gather there. When we arrived at the field, we saw decorations like a wooden stage in the middle of the field. After that, there was a sign indicating where we should stand according to our class.

We stood in a place that said first-year Genius Class, when we arrived there were already two people who had arrived before us. The two people were men, one had brown hair and the other had black hair like me, they both wore the same uniform as us. So I guess they are our other classmates.

We greeted them and introduced ourselves. The brown-haired man was the one I met in the cafeteria on the first day I arrived at the academy, his name was Bert and he carried a large hammer on his back as his weapon. Meanwhile, the black-haired man that I saw for the first time, named Hans, seemed like he didn't carry any weapons. I only saw Hans today as he just arrived last night.

While waiting for the event to start, the six of us tried to chat with each other to pass the time so it wouldn't be boring. It seems like Bert is the quiet type and doesn't talk much. Meanwhile, Hans is quite a talkative person, so we quickly got along with him. Other students began to come one by one and fill this field.

When we had been waiting for about 30 minutes and it seemed like all the students at the academy had arrived, the principal and it seemed like the teachers arrived at the field together. The principal wears a white dress with a black pattern similar to the Genius class uniform.

Near the principal there is an old man, I think he is the same age as the principal. The man was wearing black clothes with a white pattern on the opposite side of the principal. While the teachers wear black clothes.

Apart from the six of us, in the first-year Genius class, there were five other people, they were James, the white-haired man I saw yesterday at the cafeteria, he carried a one-handed sword at his waist just like me and Nanda.

Then there is Beval, a green-haired man who carries a bow on his back as his weapon. Eric was a red-haired man who carried a large shield, much bigger than the shield that Rony used. Jane, a blue-haired woman who carries a whip on her waist, and unexpectedly the last woman in the genius class has silver hair. Her name is Livy, she carries on her waist the same one-handed sword as mine.

There are a total of eleven students in our class consisting of seven boys and four girls. Currently, the eleven of us are lining up while waiting for the entrance ceremony to begin. Next to our line were students from the normal first-year class and it seemed like they already knew their respective classes since they were already lined up according to their class names.

The regular class isn't like us which only has one class, they are divided into 5 classes and it seems like each class contains twenty people, almost twice the number of students in our class.
