Section 185: The Truth Seeking Adventure

-Aria POV-

The path toward freedom is near, after resting for a day we're all prepared to face what's in front of us. Calvin and Vanya return to their basecamps, reporting about the fact that I found a way out. The survivors consisted of Joel, Tristan, Mr. Eli, Kallen, Vell, Chen, and I are standing in front of the gate.

The two of us exchange gazes of confusion, Joel and I. We cover Chrysant's body and Joel's mother in a blanket, after opening the gate we will properly bury them in their rightful place. Joel bravely volunteers in checking the perimeter around the gate. After ensuring safety, he gives a thumbs up.

I open the gate with a press of a thumb, Kallen and Joel are getting ready for whatever is coming. Tristan just stares at the sight before him blankly, eyes are still as hollow as a dead fish. As the gates slowly open, a  strong gust of wind escapes the gaps. Sands got into my eyes as the gust of winds rages on.
