Delilah looked at him, but shook her head, not wanting to think about that right now. "It's nothing."
Hunter tilted his head, his eyes narrowing as he studied her. "Nothing, or you just don't want to tell me about it?"
She hesitated, her fingers absentmindedly twirling the stem of the rose. "I'm still processing it. Maybe I'll tell you when I'm done."
Hunter nodded, accepting her answer. "That's fair. I will wait until you're ready."
