Thanks to Alcohol: We're Official Now

In the middle of their way, several cars blocked them from the opposite direction. Ares grunted his breath. Everyone in the car that blocked them got out and put on a fierce display with snipers in their hands. 

Moon-01 sighed, "What should we do, boss?"

Ares paused, making all the members wait for his order, then spoke, "We attack from the inside, no one gets out of the car."

They opened their car windows and pointed their guns at the enemy. Then Ares' assistant drove the car fast to pass them while the members fired at the enemy. Smooth way. They rushed to board the plane as soon as it arrived and took off, except for Moon-01 who escorted Moon-06 to get minor surgery as the bullet in her thigh needed to be removed.

Inside the airship that moved like a bat, they could breathe freely. Ares approached Roxanne who was chatting with her colleagues and called out to her to talk in a more private area. 

Ares without hesitation opened Roxanne's bulletproof vest, making the girl round her eyes in surprise, all her goosebumps stood up feeling Ares' light touch. Ares examined the bullet that was still stuck in the vest, almost hitting Roxanne's stomach. 

"Glad you're okay even if the bullet goes deep. I told you, don't play around like that."

Roxanne was silent. Ares looked into her eyes and sighed, "Sorry, it's just I'm really worried about you."

Roxanne nodded, "I understand, sir."

Three days later, they gathered at HQ and immediately started celebrating with alcohol, while Ares went to his room. Moon-06 tugged Roxanne's arm to join them in celebrating their successful black operation. They all laughed and exchanged small talk. 

"How was your leg, Moon-06? You seem like you recovered fast," Roxanne was worried because Moon-06 was still walking with a limp, but was too energetic to hide how she felt. Moon-06 smiled broadly.

"Never mind that. Let's celebrate our victory!"

Moon-06 choked Roxanne several times to drink so much until the girl got very drunk. Roxanne quickly walked away and excused herself to leave for the bathroom. But her feet led her down the hallway to Ares' room. Without knocking, Roxanne immediately opened wide the door to Ares' room in a sluggish state. Her eyes seemed glossy and drifted around the room as her gaze floated about their surroundings.

Ares, who saw Roxanne's alarming state, immediately stood up closed the door, and locked it. Ares immediately caught Roxanne's body which was about to fall to the floor.

"Oh gosh, you must have drunk a lot. Know your limits, Lily, you shouldn't be drinking so much like this," he nagged while putting Roxanne on the sofa. Roxanne just laughed, and then her hands spontaneously opened her shirt, leaving her black lace brassiere on the edge. 

"Why is it so hot here?" she muttered. Ares looked away and gulped. Then, Roxanne woke up and cupped Ares' face with her tender gaze.

"Oh.. it's cuz there ish.. hot guy in thishh room.." Roxanne smiled widely with her face flushed. 

"I'm gonna get you some water," Ares was about to move but was held back by Roxanne. 

"No, no, no, sir! Please stay here," her lips pouted. Ares chuckled at her antics.

"Why are you laughing at me, huh? Is there something wrong with me?" Roxanne started crying and whining like a child. Ares looked panicked and holding both of Roxanne's shoulders gently, he looked into those beautiful green eyes.

"Sshh, no, Lily. I'm sorry, it's just you look so cute," Ares soothed, making her stop crying and stare at Ares' gray eyes with an innocent look. 

Roxanne looked down helplessly and pursed her lips, "but how can you take care of another woman?... I think you're only nice to me. But it turns out you're so kind to other women too."

Ares shook his head and smiled widely showing his teeth when he saw Roxanne sulking like a child in jealousy, "I helped her without any feelings, Lily. I did it because it was my responsibility as a leader to help my subordinates. But I promise I won't do it again and will get someone else to do it, okay?"

Roxanne raised her face to look into Ares' gray eyes, "Really?"

Ares nodded his head reassuringly, "Yes, Lily. I promise and you can guarantee my word with your punishment, whatever it is."

Roxanne smiled widely, but her smile faded again, "By the way, Ares.. hic.. the day when you confessed your feelings.. hic.. I also.. hic.. felt the same," Roxanne looked down again, her tears flowing again, hiccups began to be heard in between her tears. Ares paused and smiled slightly, waiting for Roxanne's next sentence.

"It's just... I feel like I don't deserve it all," Roxanne's tears burst out, her hands wiping away her tears, but they still flowed. "I've never been loved properly before."

Ares melted when he heard that, he embraced Roxanne's body, "I will change that, Lily. I promise I will love you right."

Roxanne released her embrace and looked deeply into Ares' eyes and found his pupils dilated. He was truly sincere. Roxanne without saying anything immediately kissed Ares passionately on the lips. Ares returned her kiss more aggressively. His hands began to roam Roxanne's body and back.

They were tongue-tied in the truest sense of the word. Roxanne moved to sit on Ares' lap and deepened the kiss. She rubbed her hips in the same rhythm as their kiss. Ares' hands were now on both of Roxanne's hips, he moaned feeling Roxanne's touch which made his whole body quiver. He didn't care if Roxanne was doing this in a sober or semi-conscious state. 

In the middle of their kiss, Roxanne's tears flowed again. She felt Ares' touch that really wanted her. They both then stopped to catch their breath for a moment. Ares' thumb rubbed Roxanne's cheek where there were tear marks. Roxanne then hugged Ares' body tightly.

"You don't know how much I love you," Roxanne murmured in Ares' ear, her heart sinking as she remembered that the man in her arms was the target she had to give up later. Roxanne was crying again. Ares rubbed Roxanne's back gently to calm her down.

"My love is as much as you, Lily. Or even bigger."

Roxanne's sobbing became even more desperate. Ares hugged her tightly again and buried his face in the crook of Roxanne's neck.

"So, what are we now, in a dating relationship?" Ares asked. Isn't it very rare for a man to ask first about commitment or status? That made Roxanne laugh, although the traces of her tears were still warm and clung to her cheeks. Roxanne released her embrace to look at Ares' face. He nodded.

"Yes, boyfriend. But can we keep it a secret first? I'm afraid that will affect our work performance."

"As you wish, baby," he said with the sweetest smile. Roxanne gently rubbed Ares' cheek. The truth was that Roxanne asked him to keep this a secret not for being afraid of it affecting their work performance, but for the police to find out and Roxanne would fail the mission. Remembering that again made Roxanne sad, but she hid it with her wide smile and her eyes that were faint because she was still drunk.

Ares didn't care whether Roxanne's confession was actually spoken consciously or unconsciously due to intoxication, but it made him a little relieved because drunk people were usually very honest. He was very relieved to know their mutual feelings. Suddenly Roxanne covered her mouth as she was about to vomit, she wanted to get off Ares' lap but was held back by him. 

Ares then stood up and carried Roxanne to the bathroom. Roxanne vomited all the inside of her stomach in the closet. Ares helped rub Roxanne's back and tied her hair with his hands to prevent her from puking.

"You can take a bath first, I'll wait for you right there." 

Roxanne nodded, "Okay, I'm sorry to trouble you so much."

"Don't say such a thing, Lily. You're my responsibility now."

Roxanne's cheeks turned rosy. She was very embarrassed to feel this kind of thing. She immediately flushed the closet and stepped in the bathtub after Ares closed the bathroom door.
