Bakugo's POV
I woke up to a flurry of movement around me but I couldn't bring myself to actually do anything. As is, I could barely see through my eyelashes to see all the people running around in white or green. I wanted to scream for them to get the hell away from me but I couldn't make a sound as they kept at it. Everything hurts so much. I'll just sleep a little while longer.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" I woke up hearing Deku's screams, he must be close but I can't do much more than open my eyes. I saw nurses and doctors surrounding him and his screams kept getting louder. I set off an explosion, it was weak but it was enough to catch their attention. As well as Deku's I see him turn towards me and he smiles relaxing back into the bed.
I reached out one hand towards him and the nurses seemed to get the idea after he reached for me. Our beds were pushed together and our fingers intertwined before sleep pulled us under again.

This time when I woke up I gave out a silent groan only to feel fingers tighten around mine. I opened my eyes to see Deku and let out a small sigh of relief before looking around. I see Aunty Inko outside the window looking out into the hallway and smiling at her. I lift my other hand waving at her, I'm so happy that she could see us as ourselves again. I wince and drop my hand now, noticing all of the needles and tubes connecting to me.
I settle back and content myself with seeing her through the window, we're safe now. I feel sleep tugging at my eyelids again and relax, we are safe.

This time when I wake up I hear murmuring in the room. I can't make out what they are saying but all the same I try to open my eyes. When I finally do, I see Eraserhead and Nezu talking a little ways away from the bed.
"Can't a guy get some sleep around here?" I asked coughing before I realized just how dry my throat is. I hear Aizawa sensei chuckle before coming over and picking up a glass by my bedside, holding it so I could drink. I downed the whole thing and looked around, seeing a sink against the far wall.
I stretch out a hand and water starts flowing into the air and towards my waiting mouth. I was so thirsty I didn't even care about the looks I was getting from the two adults by my bedside. When I was done I filled my glass again before returning the rest of the water to the sink, dropping it.
I felt Deku flinch at the sound of water hitting metal and tried to pull him closer but it didn't really work. I growl frustrated but end up scooting as far as I could to get closer before falling back onto the hospital mattress. I'm sure that when Deku wakes up he will do the same and we'll actually be able to hold each other. I lay my head back ignoring the stares of our teachers as sleep pulled at me again.

"Bakubro! Midobro!" I hear Kirishima call out, making me groan before I could open my eyes again. I woke up to Deku snuggling into me, my arm wrapped around his middle. I smiled, forgetting what had woke me up to begin with as I played with his hair with my free hand. Huh? Wasn't it tied up earlier? I look down at my arm and find that I am completely free of tubes and wires.
I must be doing better if they removed them. Where am I anyway? I looked around the room, it looked an awful lot like a fancy hospital room if I had to guess. But why? Deku and I have always taken care of ourselves so why a hospital room now? Oh that's right we were on a mission. It's finally over.
I snuggle into my lover not caring about the pain it brought me so long as he was in my arms. I feel his quirk start to go off, covering us in his green energy. I sigh in relief as I feel the warm sensation of myself healing, it was kind of itchy but I don't mind. I look around and see my glass of water and use one of my canines to bite into my thumb. A small pinprick of blood comes out before the water in my cup comes and washes it away. When a few drops of blood stop flowing I swirl it around in the air mixing it thoroughly with the water and then I slowly trickle it into Deku's mouth.
He swallowed happily, finishing it all before opening his eyes to see me smiling. "Hello beautiful," he smiled at me and I couldn't help giggling in response. Of course those are his first words after waking up.
"I love you," I whisper, pulling him in for a kiss and I hear something like metal clattering to the ground making us both jump up, our backs to each other as we prepare for a fight.
"I'm sorry it's just I wasn't expecting you two to kiss as soon as you woke up," Uraraka squirmed where she was standing. I look down to see two trays of food wasted on the ground. I blinked, why would us kissing...
"Stay the fuck away he is mine pink cheeks!" I screamed and Deku started laughing, catching my attention the way it sounded like angels were filling the air with the sweetest music in the world. Uraraka ran from the room, her face almost as bright as Kirishima's hair.
We got down and ignored the food on the ground before finding our clothes and getting dressed before leaving the hospital room. We were stopped at the door by some huge guards we had never seen before in our lives.
"Where did you two come from? Authorized personnel only! Go back downstairs with the other kids and wait for them to wake up." Deku and I blinked at the guards and nodded before giggling to each other as we slipped past them and passed the cafeteria so we could get outside for a few minutes.
"Thank All Might and the Rat God Nezu!" I exclaimed, getting to hear Deku's sweet giggles again. When we walked out into a nice little café-like area a few floors down. I had my wallet thankfully and we bought some katsudon and spicy curry and sodas. We sat down enjoying our first meal in what felt like forever before we heard alarms going off.
We didn't jump up or freak out, those stupid guards must have realized that the patients were missing. They won't be getting a raise any time soon. I smile while taking a mouthful of his Katsudon and he snuck a bite of my spicy curry. We started feeding each other, only too happy to sate our hunger.
When was the last time we ate without looking over our shoulders? What is today anyway? I look around and see a TV and point it out to Deku.
"Sir, can we change it to the news?" He asked the guy working behind the counter. He smiled nodding using a remote to change the channel for us and he even turned the volume up since we were the only ones in the dining area.
A female reporter seemed to be talking nonstop until the volume was raised and we could actually hear her, "As a recap, that was 3000 villains caught by the two undercover heroes whose identities are still being hidden due to their critical health condition. It was reported that the two actually had to perform open heart surgery to remove devices from themselves. One of the boys who apparently used telekinesis and fire breathing was able to destroy the other boy's device before he then removed a similar if not identical item from his own chest. He was not able to destroy it before passing out from blood loss and shock. The device ended up destroying 3 solid feet of concrete and steel before another two heroes, one with fire and another with a hardening quirk we were able to heat it up enough to destroy."
We watched for a while waiting to either see a date or hear her say one. The broadcast was coming to an end before she finally said, "That's your channel 1 news I'm reporter Shinto this September 5th XXXX Thank you and goodnight." It went to commercials and we thanked the guy who muted it again while we finished eating. The mission was over a month ago. Have we really been asleep that long?
I looked over at Deku who smiled back at me, I held out my hand and he took it as we sipped on our soft drinks. You know what? It doesn't matter. The hag is gone. The devices are gone. We are free, we are truly 100% free.
"Cake?" I asked and saw him perk up and I laughed at the sight. We walked back over and picked out the pieces we wanted and I paid the guy refilling our drinks while we were at it.
We enjoyed ourselves far too much and definitely ate too much considering how long it's been. We made faces and giggled at each other just happy to finally relax. We look back inside the hallway and see emergency lights still going off and groan before looking out from the balcony. A very expensive hospital, but at least we were able to get some fresh air. "I wonder if I could take us down to the next balcony? It looks like another ten floors down," I hear him mumble and I laugh holding on tight.
"One way to find out," I grinned and I watched as we were both covered in his green light and we went over the railing.
