Is it Cold?
After the meal, Qin Zhan had to promise that he was not going to disturb Gu Xin Ye while she went back to her room to rest.
Gu Xin Ye was initially skeptical. But seeing that he had not entered her bedroom, made her feel at ease. She liked being together with Qin Zhan. However, it was indeed tiring and she was going to need some sleep to recharge.
Gu Xin Ye woke up feeling refreshed.
She thought that she had slept for hours. However, she soon realized that the sky was still bright outside. Gu Xin Ye rolled around the mattress for a bit before deciding to leave and look for Qin Zhan. She remembered his plan to have dinner somewhere later.
When she walked out of the room, Gu Xin Ye found that the living room was too quiet. She looked around but could not find Qin Zhan.
His bedroom door was ajar but the person she was looking for was not around.
