Club

(Kim Suho POV)

"That was quite a show. That guy managed to turn Shin Jonghak into his enemy. What's more, his reflex is quite fast, given how easily he is able to dodge Shin Jonghak pair of daggers. I don't think I could dodge it if it were me."

Yi Yeonghan said to me as he rubbed his chin with a thoughtful face. Right now, Yi Yeonghan and I are walking towards the park to join a club. I can only nod my head as I remember what happened in the training centre this afternoon. Tachibana Shou, who got the nickname 'The laziest cadet in Veritas', dominated Chae Nayun in a sparring match. It's a crushing defeat for Chae Nayun. Chae Nayun can't even shoot one of her arrows because of how fast Tachibana is. I did not watch it from the start but seeing how Chae Nayun sitting on the floor and Tachibana pair of swords is on her neck does not take a genius to comes to a conclusion that she has lost. Then another stray thought comes to my head

'I think that guy is holding back his strength. The moment I shook my hand with him at the graduation ceremony, I always felt like this guy was strong. Strong enough to get into the top 50 heroes ranking without breaking a sweat. Even though other classmates did not notice it,when Shin Jonghak threw his pair of daggers, he may have intentionally aimed them towards Tachibana's vital spot. I may be looking at it too deeply, but I felt like Shin Jonghak really wanted to kill Tachibana.'

Then Yi Yeonghan voice snapped me out of my trance.

"Kim Suho? Are you there? Did you hear me?"

"Y-yeah... Sorry. Can you repeat yourself?"

All I can do is smile shyly, feeling a little bad that I missed what Yi Yeonghan said.Yi Yeonghan just shakes his head and gives me a look before repeating himself in a lighthearted manner.

"I said which clubs are you going to join Suho?"

Clubs huh? I heard the instructor say to enjoy our youth or something, but I guess joining a club to relax sounds great. If I am not mistaken, I could join more than one club if I had the time, but unfortunately, my schedule is packed with training. Do they have a travelling club? Sightseeing while learning about new things. That sounds wonderful to me. After a few moments, I respond to Yi Yeonghan. 

"I don't know yet Yeonghan. But I think I am going to join only one club."

Yi Yeonghan nod his head as he heard my answer before replying to me in his upbeat tone

"Oh, is that so? Then I guess I will also join one club that is the same as you."

I can only smile after hearing his answer.

(1st Person POV)

'Man... I can't believe how many clubs this academy has to offer. Numerous clubs exist, including ones for virtual reality, hunting, travel, and many more. Why wasn't there one of those at my former school?'

*Sigh*

Remembering my former school, I let out a quiet sigh. Perched on a park bench, I am currently watching the clouds after filling out application forms for three clubs in which I am interested. Travelling, hunting, and reading. I don't exactly remember all of the details, but Kim Suho, Kim Hajin, and Chae Nayun are members of the travelling club. I am sure of that. That's why joined the travelling club. For hunting and reading? I just joined it on an impulse because the purpose of clubs is to have fun, right?

'Now that I think about it, wasn't Chae Nayun going to join the hunting club also? That's quite a pain. A lot of rumours have been spread about how easily I beat Chae Nayun. She also distanced herself from me in the classroom after 'anti-personnel training'. She must be quite shocked to see how incredible I am, and I did not even use 50 percent of my powers.'

I unconsciously smirk at the thought as I lean my back on the bench.
