Chapter 2: A gut feeling

☆Y/n's pov☆

As my shift ends i get ready to leave, i walk out of the club doors and start to walk home, As i'm walking i get a weird gut feeling that keeps telling me to run... hide but i'm not sure why. I started feeling very uneasy, The feeling almost to frustrating.. the tension in my body nearly palpable.

I start walking faster and even take my phone out, dialing 911 and hovering my finger over it ready to hit call if something were to happen, My heart just about stopped when i could hear footsteps not far behind me. I subconsciously pick up my pace... boarder-lining a sprint and fast walk.

After what felt like an eternity.. finally my apartment building was in view, i nearly sprint and when close enough run inside to quickly press the elevator button.. the wait was agonizing.. full of unsettling fear of something i couldn't place my finger on, Then i hear the sound which gave me some relief... Ding... Its the elevator door. 

I quickly step inside and hit the 5th floor button, As the doors open to my floor i get off and walk to my apartment door, feeling safe now that i was closer to my home. I unlock the door with my key and step inside... letting out a breath i didn't know i was holding until now, i close the door (and forget to lock it.. girl watch your back) and walk over to the couch.. collapsing.

☆Dabi's pov☆

As i follow her directly to her apartment building, I watch her go inside and walk in after her but keep my distance as to not make her more aware of my presence. 

I watch her get into an elevator and keep an eye on which floor she gets off.

"The fifth huh.." i smirk ever so slightly

i go back outside the building watching for an apartment on the fifth floor for their lights turn on as to determine which ones hers.. After a few moments i see lights of a far right apartment turn on, i stare for a bit at the window and then.. i see her in all her tired and exhausted glory, i decide to wait for awhile.. allowing her to sleep to make thing easier for the both us.

An hour or two later, I walk back into the building and take the elevator ride up to the fifth floor, upon the door opening i look for and spot the apartment thats y/n's.. making my way over to it, i stand in front of her doorstep and put my hand on the handle ready to melt it right off.. but stop.. 'It might leave obvious signs of breakin' i think to myself and then simply try my luck at the door first..
