Newfound Freedom

Ava had wandered through the winding paths and lush greenery for what felt like hours, lost in thought and the beauty of the surroundings. 

As the sun descended, her stomach suddenly protested with a low, persistent growl.

Startled, she glanced at her watch to check the time, her mind racing to find her way back before the blazing sun fell.

Near midday, she realized that she hadn't had breakfast yet. When she woke up, all she had consumed was a cup of coffee.

Feeling the need to clear her head, she decided to take a leisurely walk along the beach.

She reveled in the immense sense of liberation that came with her newfound freedom, and time seemed to have passed swiftly.

Ava quickened her pace and swiftly pivoted hurriedly toward the hotel.

Focused on reaching her destination quickly, she failed to notice the woman discreetly seated on one of the beach chairs, slightly out of place, speaking to someone on the phone.
