In the dimly lit hall, Kang maintained a sly smile as he patiently awaited their decision.
Confronted with that smile, Sylvie could no longer contain herself. Like a coiled spring, she leaped from her seat and aimed a swift strike at Kang.
Yet, once again, she failed.
It wasn't Kang evading her, but Loki gripping her tightly!
Turning to face Loki, Sylvie's expression shifted from shock to disbelief in an instant.
In the next moment, all of Sylvie's emotions morphed into rage. She pressed the short sword beneath Loki's neck, her voice tight with anger, "Do you even understand what you're doing!?"
Anxiety flickered across Loki's face. "Wait, let's talk this through," he urged.
"Why not just kill him and be done with it?" Sylvie spat, preparing to strike again.
Loki, visibly agitated, swiftly conjured objects with magic to restrain Sylvie.
"What if what he's saying is true? The consequences could be unimaginable!" Loki pleaded.
"He's a liar, Loki! Just because we give people free will, does that mean a bunch of maniacs will arise to destroy everything?!" Sylvie raged, on the verge of losing control.
Loki solemnly nodded. "I used to lie as well! But on this matter, I don't think Kang would lie. It sounds insane, but what if it's true?"
Though he struggled to fully believe Kang's words, Loki couldn't dismiss the possibility of their dire consequences.
Meanwhile, Kang, seated calmly, appeared unperturbed by the unfolding drama. "You two had better decide quickly. The timeline is beginning to fracture, and soon it will be irreversible."

The scene then shifts abruptly to the Hokage world, where Uchiha Madara speaks to Obito beside him:
"Do you think, someone who has safeguarded the timeline for countless years, would abandon his life's work simply because he claims to be 'tired'?"
"There's not a hint of anxiety or unease on his face. It's unsettling," Madara remarked.
Obito nodded in agreement, equally perplexed.
Just as he once fought for the illusion of the Infinite Tsukuyomi despite knowing its falsehood, Obito now found himself indifferent to the fate of the ninja world, lost in his own contemplation.
At this moment, Orochimaru interjected, "Typically, even if one intends to let go, they should maintain the sacred timeline and wait until both Loki's have decided to release it."
"But what he's doing now contradicts his own interpretation," Uchiha Madara sighed lightly. "Honestly, when it comes to these temporal issues, despite what's been shown on screen, I have doubts about every word they say."
Orochimaru hesitated before speaking, sensing his thoughts might be influenced by Black Zetsu's emotional manipulation.
"Nevertheless, the three of us are only together due to shared interests or goals. I wouldn't be surprised if something unexpected happens in the future."
["In the scene, Sylvie and Loki were engaged in a heated argument."
"Loki believes careful consideration is necessary; the consequences are significant!"
"Sylvie, on the other hand, suspects Loki is tempted to seize the throne and become a dictator, controlling everything."
"Isn't that what Loki has always dreamed of? To be a king and rule over all!"
Off-screen, many people couldn't help but smirk.
From previous glimpses into Loki's life, it's clear he enjoys authority but only to prove to Odin he doesn't need Thor.
Essentially lazy, he spends his time indulging in pleasures and watching plays, showing little interest in power or women.
When Loki successfully disguised himself as Odin and ruled Asgard, did he then issue commands or engage in wars?
Neither.
Instead, he indulged in leisurely pursuits, enjoying food, drink, and entertainment without care. According to rumors, this period was Asgard's happiest.
"Did Evil Loki's plan finally succeed?"
"So this is how you truly see me after all?"
Sylvie's words pained Loki deeply; tears welled in his eyes, yet he managed to restrain his emotions. "Sylvie, can't you see? This matter is far more significant than what's between us."
Sylvie's voice softened as she beheld it, her gaze filled with sadness as she looked at Loki. "Why can't we come to an agreement on this?"
Loki chuckled wryly. "Because you find it hard to trust others, and I'm not deserving of trust."
Kamar-Taj!
Wong's expression was penetrating, as if seeing through the complexities of existence. "Yesterday, a multitude perished; today, myriad lives bloom. If this is fate, perhaps the TVA shouldn't exist, even with an evil like Kang."
"What are you talking about?"
At that moment, Ancient One responded, "No one should control another's destiny. It would be better to dwell in a simulated world, where everyone can find a good fate."
Doctor Strange's uncertain life!
"What are you saying? Why the sudden change in language and no playful banter?" Strange turned away with some irritation, as the screen flickered to life again.
"No one could convince the other, and they clashed once more."
[Monument!]
"The outcome was swiftly decided, an energy blast sending Loki reeling in pain."
Asgard!
This time, Thor said nothing, merely gazing at Loki with profound pity.
Loki flushed suddenly, explaining hastily, "I let her..."
Thor shook his head in resignation.
Lies breed insecurity, and they are futile.
"Dealing with Loki, Sylvie rushed towards Kang without hesitation."
"But just as she prepared to strike with her Short Sword, a green light emerged; Loki intercepted her with bare hands!"
His intent was clear: to reach Kang, she would have to go through him first.
Sylvie couldn't bring herself to act, tears welling up as they gazed at each other.
Accompanying Loki's words, "I don't desire any throne. All I want is for you to be safe and sound," Sylvie finally made her move, stepping forward of her own accord.
In the DC world, Diana watched the screen with envy. "It's a happy ending," she remarked, "and the lovers end up married."
Deadpool, lying on the ground, looked on with jealousy.
"Hmph, Loki returns with the beauty and regains control of the TVA. He's winning at life this time."
"Oh, come on! Enough with the circling around. Just kiss already! It's too much!"
Just when everyone thought it was over, a sudden twist occurred!
A spatial gate appeared behind Loki, and without hesitation, Sylvie pushed him into it, closing it instantly!
It was then revealed that Sylvie had obtained Kang's time controller all along!
Everyone understood why Sylvie had made her move earlier.
Yet, despite her emotions, Sylvie couldn't bring herself to attack Loki.
"Bravo!"
"Kang faced death without fear, laughing with excitement!"
"Sylvie didn't hesitate, driving a dagger into Kang's chest!"
Sylvie hoped to see remorse on Kang's face, but as he died, he simply blinked and smiled.
"See you later," Kang uttered, then breathed his last.
Sylvie collapsed in sorrow. This had been her life's goal, and now she felt an indescribable emptiness.
Outside the castle, the sacred timeline, already filled with countless branches, descended into chaos, like a tangled web, completely unrestrained.
Back inside the TVA, Loki sat on the steps, his face filled with loss. He knew Sylvie would kill Kang, and something terrible was beginning.
A few minutes later, Loki was still burying the pain in his heart.
"Since things have happened, what we need to do now is salvage them," he muttered to himself.
"He's going to find Mobius. The others must be in disarray and need his information!"
Loki pushed open the door and was met with chaos outside.
After much effort, Loki finally found Mobius in the archives area, 693. Mobius was with B-15, looking serious.
"There are over 70 branches in this time zone alone that we need to stop!" Mobius ordered B-15.
"We can't stop them at all!" Loki shouted as he ran towards them.
Mobius looked confused. "What do you mean?"
"The timeline has been set free!" Loki spoke quickly and somewhat incoherently.
"We found him after the storm, in the castle at the end of time. He... he was terrible. He orchestrated everything, knew everything. He knew: someone is coming. Different versions of them will ruin everything."
"They're about to go to war. We need to prepare!" Loki urged urgently.
Mobius, seeing his anxious and somewhat disjointed state, comforted him softly. "Don't worry. Take it step by step. You're an analyst, right? Or from another department? Take your time, don't be nervous. We can handle this."
"Oh, by the way, what's your name?"
"What's your name!?"
Mobius's words struck like a cold wind into the hearts of countless people.
"Don't you know each other? Why do you suddenly seem like strangers?"
Even if the timeline is in chaos, isn't the TVA outside of it? It shouldn't be affected!
At this moment, the plot seemed to suddenly turn into a horror movie.
"And the most terrifying thing is Loki."
"He finally realized something was wrong, his eyes widening in shock."
"And it's not just because Mobius doesn't recognize him."
"At that moment, he saw clearly, beyond the corridor, beyond the elevator shaft at the center..."
"A towering statue loomed!"
At this moment, almost all viewers stared blankly at Loki.
Because it wasn't the three-faced sacred guardian lizard they knew before, but the statue of Kang!
