Chapter 57 Mark of the fiend, an Asura descends? or ascends?

The demonic hand broke through the shield that the rune god made him feel invincible as long as the idols that delivered him the faith from the multiple countries existed.

NOTHING that had mana inside of it and used it in this world can bring him harm, the rune god had forgotten one thing about his adversary, the so-called 'demon god' may have some mana from this world existing within him.

But he never really used it!

The sinister-looking hand grabbed hold of his head by the face as the rune god felt something he hasn't felt in a long time...

The large hand slowly squeezed around his head, but luckily (Well more unluckily), Mark, who was now in the dreadful version of Cerberus, didn't want to let things finish so quickly!

Mark dragged the god with him as he moved so quickly it was as if he teleported high above the clouds thanks to the temporary buff before levitating there then said some words to the rune god that made him both angry and afraid as the three wolf heads drew close to his enjoying the panic he was feeling!

"since you portray me as the demon god~ why don't I do something demonic like~?"

the free hand of the Cerberus reached for the skies before a strange yet small mark appeared near them, something smaller than an ant, the rune god whose one eye peeked from one of the gaps between the fingers was confused for a bit before relaxing a bit since it was only one mark it can only do so-

The next moment that small mark multiplied!

From 10 to a hundred, a thousand every second that ticked that total numbers increased by one more digit until it was nearly endless!

The Rune god felt something dreadful and evil from the marks he tried to cast a spell to stop this somehow however the powerful arm that held him threw him back to the ground as if letting his chance to do something slip from his fingers at the last second as he struggled against the force and failed to do so.

Mark the one he branded as the demon god, all three of his head showed a shadow covered face, yet it failed to hide the Crescent Smirks as he words that reached his ears in a playful tone whispered.

"enjoy the change that your world will experience! Sorcerer's style!"

the marks he made all flew into every adult human that existed in this world it didn't matter who they were good or bad sparing Selang Yao family members from the mark, since he was being treated as a demon god and not almost every human had seen and heard the proclamation of their god, he was now public enemy numba 1!

Since Mark was given the chance he'll roleplay as the demon god that the inhabitants of this world feared so much, while he will fuck things up, it doesn't mean that he'll be having a massacre...

The rune god that was slammed into the ground finally got up and created a golden spear before throwing it powered by his resentment and hatred!

The force that came with it cleared up the skies as a large sonic boom followed made the continents hear the collision as the shockwave continued to spread until all of the large clouds within hundreds of miles were reduced to small puffs.

As for Mark, he blocked the spear of the rune god with his own, many of the rune god's believers on the continent saw this through magic this brought fear and panic within their numbers as while their god was pretty banged up from what they see from their side, the demon god was still floating in the sky unscathed!

As the force behind the attack dwindled he sacrificed the spear of his enemy making it look like his demonic hand ate it before taking the next step with his plans going full 'villain' mode as he voice called out to the marks collecting the attention of everyone that heard!

"𝕬𝖗𝖎𝖘𝖊 𝖒𝖞 𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖍𝖋𝖎𝖊����𝖉𝖘! 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖙𝖔𝖉𝖆𝖞 𝖜𝖊 𝖜𝖎𝖑𝖑 𝖇𝖗𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖗𝖊𝖈𝖐𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖚𝖕𝖔𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖑𝖉! 𝕸𝖂𝕬𝕳𝕬𝕳𝕬𝕳𝕬𝕳𝕬𝕳𝕬!"

As truthfully he was struggling to keep himself from feeling the embarrassment as thanks to his fur covered wolf heads people would've noticed that he was blushing as he tried to maintain the act!

All while the rune god yelled out in fury!

"DAMN YOU!!!"

He needed an army that could reduce the amount of faith that the rune god received!

So the best way to do it?

Make a bunch of people become archfiends that will follow his bidding!

The people that suffered the most were the first to change, followed by the people those that followed their desires so strongly, from slimes to chimeras there wasn't any of them that turned into an Odin or An Alice as thanks to the over usage of the summonable monsters many of the people lacked the traits required to become something similar to the original Archfiends that were the leaders feared by even the order leaders.

So many of them were weaker than the weakest tiered archfiends that even initiates could defeat with their eyes closed then again it may be due to them being freshly transformed and lack the magical component that existed in the soul sacrifice world...

He had one command for the ones that had become archfiends.

"spread my name!"

there were many that managed to resist the mark that was quickly spread along with the populace as the curse of the evil god!

The rune god attempted to attack using his mana beam again!

but this time there was something different about it something evil!

As the originally golden beam gained a shade of red before growing redder and redder as the 'majestic' rune god no longer looked divine but more like an Asura as his eyes glowed red different from his usual bluish color, as his white skin turned grey as the handsome look he had was now replaced by an ugly monstrous look as his face warped with his burning hatred for Mark!

While it seemed badass seeing this transformation there was one thing that came to mind when Mark saw this as he taunted out loud in delight as the battle just got better...

"enraged mode? like in Monster Hunter? haha! you mad bruh?
