Chapter 58 Reappearance of the black rite?
The red beam tore through the sky as mark nimbly dodged the beam since his preparations weren't complete yet the sound that came from the beam was loud and deafening for regular mortals of this world nearby but the beam hit something in the distance that made a ground-shaking explosion!
It destroyed one of the moons but the worrisome thing that happened next was the debris from the exploded moon were heading to this planet thanks to the gravitational pull that was something to worry about later!
As mark taunted the bastard of a god, he was already setting up the traps from binding spells to magic mines, he was going all out for having his chance, to lose his v- *ahem* to exact his revenge!(at this very moment his eyes dripped of a virgin man's heartfelt Tears!)
The rune god yelled out these words full of anger and possessiveness!
"THIS IS MY WORLD! ๐พ๐ฝ๐ป๐ ๐ธ ๐ ๐ธ๐ป๐ป ๐ท๐ฐ๐ ๐ด ๐ ๐ท๐ด ๐ฟ๐พ๐ ๐ด๐ ๐ ๐พ ๐ ๐ ๐ป๐ด!! ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๐พ๐ ๐ฐ๐ ๐ด ๐ฝ๐พ๐ ๐ ๐ด๐ป๐ฒ๐พ๐ผ๐ด ๐ท๐ด๐ ๐ด ๐ณ๐ด๐ผ๐พ๐ฝ ๐ถ๐พ๐ณ!!!"
Every word he added seemed to leave a curse of some sort on to Mark's being as if trying to cast him and his Archfiends from this world but his efforts were in vain as The rune god's adversary was collecting all of the mana around him to strengthen himself. (which didn't help even more against his ongoing suffering as more tears followed)
Since there was no obvious effect the rune god appeared above Mark then fired another beam that was ten times the size of the previous one as if he had come to a decision... to destroy this world along with the abominations that were made with the mark of the fiend!
And sure enough, his following words proved the assumption.

For someone that labeled Mark as the demon god, it's like their roles had been switched, where he was the protector of this world and the rune god of the invading force keen on destroying this planet that can't be his anymore. (while mark didn't care for the world he still wanted to get some of the booties he was offered earlier and the actions of the rune god were like more attempts to stop him)
As if he was a spoiled brat that would ruin everything if he can get what he wants...but sadly with the preparation that Mark made mana based attacks were the worst choice to use against the current him. (fueled by the anger of being unable to lose his virginity finally, he was even more furious by for the actions of the rune god trying to take away his long-awaited chance!)
Since he was currently the bane of, (Cockblockers), Mana countless magic circles and spells appeared behind him as and they pulled in the beam made of pure mana like multiple whirlpools draining away the ocean the magic circles filtered the mana for Mark to absorb and the spells acted as a support to slow it, weaken it separate it into smaller batches to make it easier, and compress the leftovers and store away the rest for later.
Mark decided to stop holding back he will use everything in his arsenal as the fury of a man that was cockblocked when he was about to lose his virginity to multiple women is like destroying a dream that no man would want to wake up from!
Mark's menacing three faces were somewhat ruined by his sniveling look and 'manly tears' the attack of the rune god was erased but that didn't make the bastard falter as he followed up by using the ornaments that floated around him that were originally golden now blood-red as they flew at Mark with impeccable speeds the dug into his flesh.
Only to come out within a few seconds and fall to the ground as all of the mana in them were siphoned by Mark he wanted to make hard for the rune god since they said that he had 'limitless' Mana what would happen if Mark took it all?
How would the rune god react?
what would he do next?
will he still be able to fight?
so many things he'd like to see as Mark wanted to torture this 'god' to death!
And most importantly, to complete a wish to brand the true name into something he used before to make it live up to its name!
Noticing the difference and the lack of the intended effects of his previous attacks, The rune god covered his body completely with his ornaments that changed into armor that made him double in size to help him overpower Mark fully clad in red armor with a red halo floated above him before disappearing from Mark's sights before a heavy hand slammed into the back of his head.
Mark's body crashed into the ground as the new appearance the rune god had was obvious for the world to see one of the descending moon rocks was grabbed by the rune god then thrown to Mark embedding him deeper into the ground!
A burst of potent killing intent followed as the whole valley glowed eerily red as the area seemed like it was having an earthquake as a demonic hand emerged from the hole in the ground as more of the bloodthirsty aura spread farther as if made the rune god's figure shiver from fear and disgust!
Mark's words followed.

Mark did something that surprised and confused the rune god he ripped his left arm off completely from the shoulder socket but strangely there was no blood, then Mark spoke a chant of something that he will never forget!

A bone-chilling feeling enveloped the rune god as if he was locked in place as dread filled his being!

The arm that he held began wriggling about as if it had a life as its own the rune god was helpless as he tried to move but couldn't!

Mark allowed the arm to flop to the ground as it began moving erratically as if struggling against something!

The arm on the ground quickly expanded in size as it quickly surpassed the height of the rune god within seconds before towering over him!

the fur that covered the arm fell off before the fingers fused together and the thumb stretched out from side to side as the hand slowly took the form of a snake's head as razor-like teeth formed from its new mouth!

The large serpent's eyes opened as it stared at the floating figure of a god then roared in response to the call as the connection between its master and itself grew stronger than before as the hunger for death and destruction was bringing it to the brink of insanity!
The rune god recognized the creature that took form in front of him a child of the goddess of mischief and chaos-

The Cry of the impending doom has been settled now it was time to bring it forth as the rune god was finally able to move again, with the only thought to escape in mind but the maw of the large Serpent charged at him from above crashing him into the ground as his screams resounded out!
As the rune god's right side was eaten sparing the torso mostly due to the armor of his as the vast amount of mana he had was consumed by the Large serpent So in an effort to save his own life he hastily cast a few spells that enveloped Mark each of them was partially absorbed before the managed to activate.
Mark recognized the spells as a spatial translocation, disintegration, and a soul attacking spell!
The rune god was using a move meant to completely destroy the target should it succeed and thanks to him infusing the spells with so much mana the effects were lessened and messed up as they took effect the translocation spell was supposed to send him to an area away from this world meaning space but since it was partially absorbed the effects were now sending him to another world.
the disintegration spell was meant to completely erase any flesh that is related to him now it was reduced to turn him to dust a number of times before stopping as the forms he was forced to sacrifice was every single one except the one mask he wasn't fond of since Mark disliked it so much that he never even thought about it and his female form meaning that he had to choose between those two that he dreaded of even using...
The female version of him who was made to be his ideal woman whose beauty can topple the heavenly kingdoms as the form was based on the caster/assassin version of Scathach in F/A with additional things including Mark's tribal tattoos that seemed to multiple her charms a few times!
the Harpy of Famine it was created to be the poisonous monster, in the game to create constant debuffs and suffering for those that challenged it even if it had a beautiful form meaning that he'd still be a female should he choose this option as it would look like exactly like the sexy harpies in a certain monster girl manga and it also made him even more simple minded~
every form affected him in their own way from being more aggressive to the most appalling one lustful which is something he will never use ever again as it wasn't fun making a few holes into a tree or the ground... Nuff said(the strongest system reference)
as for why he dreaded the harpy form so much?
A single drop of its ability can poison the land a mile parameter from the drop mind you that is before it is infused with magic and while holding back so much!
so imagine how bad it would be with it?
the soul attack spell was weakened to the point that it stunned him or should we say 'her'?
allowing the other two spells to do what it could, forcing Mark away from this world but not before the serpent taking one more bite off of the rune god consuming his whole upper body and leaving only the lower body before disappearing with its creator.
Black Rites are powerful moves that the player gains throughout the game. In exchange for being so powerful, they have restrictions on when and how often they can be used. In order for the option to use a Black Rite to even appear as an option, the player must first take a significant amount of damage, and upon using the Black Rite, the player will then be inflicted with a negative effect (which varies based on the Black Rite). A Black Rite can only be used once a quest and will then need to be restored using Lacrima.
But the Original black rite created by Mark was something that destroyed those restrictions as he also created life which isn't something a sorcerer should ever do and on top of that he also created a chant that tied it to his life, karma, and future! this meant that whatever he spoke was more of a promise to bring forth a life form that shouldn't exist!
As for what the creature will do in the future will be related to the chant and now it can make one wonder how many gods will fall before it consumes itself?
