This time, at least, finding Lizard is a less daunting task. We only have to follow his trail. At first, I'm sure that we will catch up with him in no time at all, but he's still quick, and I still have to pause and write down how much time we spent in each room, less we get as lost as Lizard is.
I and Zeke follow his route through the cooking rooms and walk out into the courtyard. Our car isn't there, but the portcullis is closed. I check my notes and conclude that we are a few months before we came to the castle.
