After finishing the morning training, only to take another shower and have some breakfast, the group made their way to the first class.
Jack on the way, was already feeling like heading to bed. Not even paying attention to his surrounding all Jack did was follow the group until they entered a classroom with a sign on the door.
[2 - 1]
Just from looking inside, Jack had already gotten annoyed. there were four rows of desks with six desks for each to accommodate the twenty-four students of the S class. However, all of the corner desks were taken. Approaching Damian who was sitting alone on the corner desk next to the window, Jack placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Giving your seat"
"What are you a bully?"
"Yes"
Sighing, Damian pointed at a little hologram, that said his name. Frowning like a child, Jack who was in a bitter mood searched for his desk, only to find to be at the front, in one of the center desks.
Sitting down, Jack could feel the eyes of everybody around.
Once the clock hit 8:00, the doors of the room instantly opened and Sofia entered the classroom with an exhausted expression, nevertheless, smiling at the students to keep up her spirits.
Entering the spotless and beautiful classroom, Sofia soon noticed the fact that all seats in the classroom had been filled. Turning to face Jack like a mother scolding her child, she asked in a somewhat angry but not angry voice..
"Why weren't you here yesterday, mister?"
"I got a schedule from Sofia."
"Oh, that's understandable...So anyways, hello, everyone, I'm glad to see all of you once again."
Brushing past that issue as if it was nothing after hearing Olivia's name, Jack wondered how much of a mess she was that only mentioning her name was enough.
Greeting the class as she did something on her bracelet, Jack received the same email that he had already received before with his schedule.
[First Week Schedule]
[Homeroom - 8:00 to 8:10]
[Holy Magic Theory - 8:10 to 9:10]
[Basic Training - 9:10 to 11:10]
[Break - 11:10 to 12:00]
[Demon and Monsters - 12:00 - 1:00]
[Choose Electives For Next Week]
'Basically, for the first week, we would only receive three classes, holy magic theory, basic training, and a demon and monsters analysis class.'
"Now, I know I have already said this but seeing as though there is someone that wasn't here last week, I will use this as a reminder...Starting next week all of you will have to choose different electives you wish to take, you have to take at least three for each day. And in two weeks you will all be allowed to create your own clubs or join a club. And finally yesterday after your last class we would have gone a picked up a weapon for each of you...However due to some incidents..."
Everyone looked at Jack.
"We will be going and picking up your weapons, right now."
Having everyone stand up and follow behind her, the group formed itself once again, with Lei and Damian standing next to Jack while Arthur and Alicia were having a conversation. Uniquely, however, Hana and Tarik were having their own conversation.
It was a rare sight for many considering their backgrounds.
On the report that Jack had received of everyone in his friend group from Olivia, there were many pieces of information that he hadn't asked for.
[Alicia Onjouji, daughter of the head of the Onjouji Clan, Kenzo Onjouji, an Aspect with history as the clan of Japanese descent took power in the past. They stand as the strongest group in the Holy Land, as the head of the clan is the leader of the Alliance. She is a little bit of a dainty little girl who has yet to fully understand the cruelty of the outside world, nevertheless, she is someone that hates the support from her family, hating the idea of others thinking of not even fighting her to not get on the Onjouji's bad side.]
[Hana Ortega, daughter of Luis Ortega owner of the Black Snake Guild, ranked second on the guild rankings. Due to her standing as the daughter of the guild master, she was raised in a rich environment causing her to be a little bit of an entailed child.]
[Tarik Fornack, son of Juliana Fornack, owner of the Sunflower Guild, the first-ranked guild on the guild rankings. Due to the high-standing position of his guild, Tarik developed a slight superiority complex having to do everything in his power so he could live up to the expectations of others to maintain the high standing of the guild. This, however, together with the rivalry with the Black Snake Guild, caused him some conflicts with Hana Ortega. However, in reality, the two students don't really care much about topping one another, since they are mostly following their guild's wishes.]
[Arthur, Lei, and Damian, all come from humble origins.]

Arriving in front of a large gate, in the basement of the building, Sofia opened them after scanning her ID on a machine. Nevertheless, the gate only lead to a tunnel, with even more security checks, some that even contacted the headmaster and had his hologram appear as they talked in real-time.
Sofia who led the group entered a large room, turned on the lights, and said with a smug face, "There's a wide variety of weapons to choose from, so feel free to take whatever suits you"
The large room looked like a museum with multiple weapons different from the still impressive sharp training blades, making everyone almost speechless. Apart from the rich kids.
From small knives to even giant heavy swords, the room had everything one could need. The weapons, on the other hand, had a different feel to them as they weren't exactly the normal common equipment. With a futuristic vibe to them, many of the weapons present in the room had glowing blades or even some mechanical parts connecting to them.
However, that didn't mean that there weren't ancient-looking weapons displayed before the students. Unlike their futuristic counterpart, many of the ancient weapons instead had what seemed to be runes scribbled atop their blades. There were also some mythical-looking weapons scattered around, some even having ice edges or fiery designs.
Some armor pieces were also on display.
'Although the designs are cool, most of them are actually common and easy to obtain. At most, they would only have small upgrades like having a sharper blade, self-cleaning, or other basic stuff.'
Everyone seemed excited to look around a choice a weapon, but as if pouring cold water on all of the students, Sofia said, "Although all weapons are available for everyone in this room, only the top five students are able to pick more than one item, that is only if they need the item, however, armor pieces are also only available for them. Also, don't pick by design or aesthetic but something that would suit your class."
"And finally, once you pick a weapon, scan your ID on the screen in front of it, for the case to open, this will leave your name in the system so pick carefully."
Leaving it at that, all of the students rushed inside the large room, Lei and Damian remained by Jack's side but seemed eager to go in.
"Why are you guys not going inside?"
"Because I wish to have, Mentor, help me choose"
"I noticed this before but you have a good eye, Whitlock, so I thought of staying with you while choosing to have a look at your insight."
Making their way inside, Jack could already see the different friend groups having already been formed. Alicia and Arthur were looking at spears, Hana and Tarik were both looking at bows, and Damian and Lei were following Jack.
As they slowly walked through the room checking everything out, Jack could hear the annoying screams of children fighting.
"I saw that first"
"So what?"
"Hey, I wanted that"
"Wanna fight, you bastards?"
"Hey move aside"
Scenes like this made Jack wonder why he even bothered socializing.
He even wondered if they knew that these weapons were nothing special.
The first one to pick a weapon amongst the three of them was, Damian who got a hold of a Katana with a glowing blade, having the handle and everything else painted black. Turning to face Jack as he held his sword, he asked.
"What do you think?"
"How the hell, would I know?"
"Aren't you like a hidden royalty, I thought that you would know."
"???"
Thinking about it after being confused, Jack understood why such a misunderstanding came to be. Considering his connection with the headmaster, it somewhat made sense.
Letting out a sigh, Jack pointed out the fact that the katana Damian had grabbed didn't have a sword guard. Noticing this Damian decided to put the weapon down.
"By the way, Damian what is your ability?"
"Oh...You shouldn't ask that but it's [Heavy Slash]"
The frontline classes had many different sets of abilities, sometimes those abilities would be passive and other time actives. However, the first ability of the many front liners was either, [Heavy Slash], [Taunt], [Dash], or another.
This first ability wasn't indicative of your exact class but it still helped paint a picture.
Taunt was given to classes, like paladins, knights, and warriors. Heavy Slash, was given to classes like giant swordsmen, berserkers, and hammermen.
Dash was used by the likes of a samurai, duelist, or lancer. In some special cases, some would receive another unique ability.
